Love this hidden gem in Healdsburg. Fresh sushi and friendly staff. Small outdoor seating but I always opt for the sushi bar. Nice selection of sake too. Give this place a try!

This place was our first date 17 years ago and I'm So glad we had a chance to come back here for lunch with our son. Sushi was on point and so good! Service is good and restaurant looks exactly the same as 17 years ago. Our favorite is the martini prawns and carburetor roll.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a very long time. Some of the best sushi we've had and it's always fresh. The manager, Frank, is incredible and always makes sure that we are well taken care of. My favorites are the Carburetor Roll, Martini Prawns and Miso! There's plenty of space for parking out front and we never have problems finding a spot. Great restaurant, we always look forward to coming here.

Beautiful Martini Prawns set on the table.

Trying a new sushi place that was open. Server staff prompt and courteous. Surprised to see martini prawns on the menu - we ordered this, yelp favorite Utah roll, staff recommended Spicy Tuna roll, miso, California roll and tuna nigiri. Miso came out immediately and HOT! Really nice flavor and rich coloring. Martini prawns - what a mess. Tough, strangely battered dry prawns, luke warm at best swimming in a mayo sauce that lacked depth of flavor. Total disappointment. For great martini prawns - royal China off piner rd. California roll was fresh and full of flavor. One of the better California rolls I've had. The Utah roll was decent - I'd get this again. Spicy tuna with fried chili strands - pretty but loaded with sriracha sauce, chili seeds and deep fried. Would not get this again, Just heat over powering anything else. Tuna nigiri was not pleasant - fish was mealy and had a funny taste. Service was good, but we won't be coming back,

The Food and Drinks: We "rate" Tapas outfits by ordering Patatas Bravas. Crisp on outside, larger pieces and host and moist inside, one of the bests we have experienced - highly recommended. Others we had were: - Coroquetas: Creamy chicken Croquetas came piping hot and definitely creamy. This is my favorite whether I am in Japanese restaurants or in Tapas places. - Steamed Clams: Great and good serving. Ask for breads to go with this one as you WILL HAVE TO DIP the breads in the broth! Price/ Value: Very reasonable for this class of restaurant for glasses of wine going $14 range, and many cocktail options and many Tapas items not even hitting $20 that means you can order a variety of things. The serving volume was very satisfying sharing between two of us. This will be our new "go to" places when we are back in here which is a lot!

Service seemed nice enough and attentive enough. As much the ambiance was nice, the food was meh. The bacon wrapped dates and cauliflower were the only items we enjoyed. Pig ears were chewy instead of crispy. Nothing stood out as great. Portions were meager; the jambon and cheese was the only item we had that was substantial. With 4 items left me hungry until those mini sandwiches. At $50 per person and 3/5 items not great, can't say I'd return for food. But if someone suggested the place for a drink, I'd make a trip, after a meal.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and there's always something that makes you want to come back for more. The Mahi Mahi tacos are a favorite -- fresh, flavorful, and packed with great toppings. I went with the crispy pork belly tacos, which were the perfect balance to the overwhelming amount of fresh seafood on the table. Crispy, rich, savory... exactly what you need when you're going all-in on oysters and seafood. And speaking of oysters, they were fantastic. Fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely worth ordering. But Willie's is also special to us for another reason. This is where I asked my wife to marry me about six years ago. So coming back here always brings back some pretty damn good memories. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a place that will always have a special spot in our story. Five stars all day.

We were only able to get a 5:15 pm reservation on a Saturday night, which was somewhat unusual because the outdoor patio and interior were only about half full. Maybe they allow for walk-ins so I suggest that if you want a later reservation like 7 pm that you try a walk-in instead. It was my husband's 67th birthday, which I indicated on the reservation, and they had a customized menu for him, birthday card, and welcome cocktail of champagne. The service was prompt and very friendly and we started with PEI mussels, served with Costeaux Sourdough Baguette (slightly charred), Poblano Peppers, Roasted Leeks, Heirloom Tomato Broth and Petite Fenne, which was hearty and really delicious ($24). The manager also provided complimentary homemade bread with a black sea salt that you could sprinkle on top, We brought a nice bottle of Robert Young cab and the corkage was $25, which is very reasonable. Husband got the prime Kobe New York steak loin ($63) and was disappointed that it was only half of a normal New York. It came with Brentwood Yellow Corn, Potato Croquette, Perigord Truffle Butter, Bone Marrow and Sauce Bordelaise. He ordered it rare and it was served appropriately. I ordered the bone in Duroc pork loin ($42) served with Yellow Wax Beans, Shishito, Bacon Jam, Parmesan Frico and Jimmy Nardelo Peperonata, which was very tasty. I should have indicated medium rare as it was a little more overcooked than I would like. The accompanying polenta cake and peppers were a delicious compliment. We decided not to have dessert, but they brought us a Snickers dessert for his birthday on the house. It came with Cocoa Tuille, Peanut Powder, Sea Salt and Burnt Caramel and was super yummy. I would definitely go back, highly recommend. The clientele in the restaurant were not super snobby and seemed like locals and regular people out for a good meal.

We were greeted with glasses of champagne, a special menu with our anniversary mentioned on the top, and an anniversary card. All of that was so special and unique which made us feel so welcome! We chose to do the "trust me" chef's dinner. It was a surprise for every dish. This was my first time trying bone marrow and now I am a huge fan. I will say the snickers style dessert was overwhelmingly sweet and I just couldn't finish it. My one problem with how they list it on the menu is "$20 per course". I didn't like thinking about how a somewhat skimpy salad equals out to $20. I think it sounds a bit better to say it's a $100 experience, which sounds like a better way to explain it. This was a fun experience and I enjoyed most of the items but I would not do this again. I feel some of the courses were a little lack luster and I would rather spend a bit more to do a different experience somewhere else.
