Udon Soup with and without noodles
    Madow N.

Did takeout only. The person on the phone was not the friendliest. Nor were they willing to accommodate changes to the items on the menu. The udon soups were pretty good. Had a sweet flavor. Portion size was generous. The wings were juicy but totally plain. The restaurant is somewhat small but has nice ambiance. Street parking was easy to find on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

For a suburban area to serve decent Japanese food is rare. They do a lot of take out orders and they get busy on the weekends. They have good tasting sashimi, sushi, and hand rolls. I would avoid the rice bowls such as chicken or beef. Rolls were fresh and the waitress was friendly and honest. Parking can be located on the street or in the back for complimentary parking.

Been ordering delivery from Sake for a few years now, they seemed to have done a revamp and quality is not as good in my opinion. Gyoza Steamed: (no pic) had no seasonings and tasted like was from a frozen prepackage now (really hope this gets updated as I liked their gyoza) Sushi: was still fresh thankfully (hard to mess up other than that) Lo Mein: has a new sauce. Its not to my liking any longer, just to bland for me.

    Sushi lunch special

I would probably give this place 3.5 stars, since its slightly better than okay. Even though I got the lunch special, I still think it's a little pricey for the amount of food you get. I ordered the lunch special, which was 5 pieces of nigiri and 6 pieces of salmon maki. It comes with miso soup and salad, but it's only enough to satisfy a small Asian girl, definitely not filling enough for the average person. The food was alright too, nothing amazing but good enough if you're just craving some sushi. I gave this place 3 stars because although the food was alright, I probably won't be returning in favor of other restaurants to try.

Spicy trio special, agedashi tofu, miso soup and salad. Because sometimes you just need some Wednesday comfort sushi Thanks Sake.

Best place for sushi on the South Shore if you're looking for something a little more casual. I have never eaten here as a dine in customer because I never discovered them until after COVID - 19 but every experience I've had with them via delivery or takeout has been flawless. Good packaging, decent quality fish and sushi made with care that isn't carelessly thrown together! I've gotten both the sushi sashimi deluxe and the spicy trio special - both are recommend-worthy. One of my favorite parts of their "specials" is that they come with salad and soup as well. They're not the cheapest place for sushi in the S. Shore but for the price, quality and service you get - don't skip out here!

Delicious sushi and great atmosphere. They are socially distancing and following covid precautions for any dine in. Sushi Rolls are very good and affordable price.

Bad dishes. The frozen hamachi karma was over-baked and the meat was rotten. The nigiri with fish and shrimp is not fresh, the rice is not sticky at all like it was for a few days. When I told the restaurant owner today's food was not good she listened and did not answer. bill totaling 216$ included tip is too expensive for bad quality foods. Never come back again

Chirashi is the way I can ascertain the freshness of the fish (it passes). Great service. Enjoyed the Shumai (another test). Air conditioner was great on a 93 degree day. My husband had the crunchy roll and the Philadelphia roll. All good!

This is always my favorite spot for sushi, the service is great, and so is the quality of food/fish. This restaurant has definitely stepped up their game recently and have been providing bigger portions. I'd recommend!!

Ordered the sushi sashimi deluxe. Food looked so great I forgot to get a decent picture of it before I ate it all. What I ordered was about $30 and was worth it if you take it consideration the quality level of the fish served. The sashimi was the best I've had in a while. The sushi was also rolled up with care and packed pretty well. I was definitely surprised by my experience and will be coming back soon!

I would go to the original Brookline location but this one is a little easier for me to get to. My go-to is the OG miso ramen, It's very rich and hearty, leaving you quite satisfied after eating. If you want a "cleaner" flavor, then shio is a good choice. The portions are rather generous and they don't skimp on the toppings. You actually get a 1/2 egg included, which is becoming rare these days. The karaage (fried chicken) isn't the crispiest I've ever had but it is really flavorful and tender. The marinating and using boneless chicken thighs lends itself to having those two traits. Service is generally friendly and prompt. The area inside is a little dark, and uses artificial lighting to stay somewhat bright, but it's fine. This is a less cramped space than the Brookline location and since it's in a strip mall, there's parking. The area is rather devoid of ramen shops, so this was a much-welcomed addition.

We started out with the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bao, which were decent. The Bao was a little stiffer than expected, but the flavor was good. The little bit of scallion really added to the flavor. We then had the Miso Tonkotsu Ramen, The Miso Kimchi Ramen, the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Shio Garlic Ramen. The Miso Tonkotsu Ramen had the best flavor hands down. A really nice salty and umami flavor that was perfect. The Tonkotsu & Kimchi were both quite good too. The Shio Garlic Ramen was a little lacking. The broth reminded us of a stock chicken Pho broth. It was decent, but nowhere near as good as the others. We also loved the location and the whimsical style of the interior. It had its own design style, and wasn't trying to be another me-too location. We look forward to our next visit soon!

The service was good, our waiter just seemed a bit rushed since he pretty much was the only person servicing the section of the restaurant where we were. Onto the broth, I dont have a problem paying for broth, but at least have the broth be good. This broth wasn't, and also they use way too much MSG in the broth.
