I have been enjoying lunch and sometimes dinner although mostly I go to this restaurant for lunch for many many years. I've often gone with coworkers who enjoy this place as much as I do. It's very close to my workplace and to my home the service is always very good. The ambience is cute and I think that the food is consistently good. One of my favorite dishes is Massaman curry with chicken (and or shrimp) which I order with a mild heat level,. I think I've mentioned before in other reviews that what is considered mildly spicy in some cuisines would for me make my head explode. At any rate, Massaman curry has Thai curry with a creamy texture from coconut milk, peanuts, and potatoes. It's less spicy than other Thai curries. I always say to myself that I will try something different but I fall back on the tried and true of this delicious dish. That said, in the picture below, I actually tried to sweeten sour chicken dish with savory fresh vegetables cooked to perfection, not soggy, but crisp el dante, in flavored with a sweet-and-sour sauce. It was very good and I will definitely order it again. I definitely recommend that you try this restaurant if you are a fan of Thai cuisine. Extremely disappointed with the Crab Rangoon and Crispy Pad Thai with shrimp that was delivered tonight. Over $11 for the crab Rangoon that was more folded edges than actual filling. The filling was more cream cheese than actual Crab mixture. Then the crispy pad Thai with shrimp. $20 plus $4 for shrimp. There was less than half of the usual amount of shrimp and zero chicken. There was literally 1 bean sprout and a minuscule 0amount of peanut. Is this place under new management or do the owners just not care to give good value for the high price charged. What a shame. They may have to charge a high price due the economy and therefore survive however I would think they would also take pride in proving to their customers that they are well aware that fact and show us we made the right choice spending our money on them. read more

What a massive disappointment. $108 including tip. I got yellow curry with chicken, that was good. Ordered Gyoza, which are pork dumplings... got crab rangoon.... with was the smallest dob of filling I've ever seen. Ordered crispy chicken pad thai.. got steamed chicken. Ordered Udon stir fried vegetable and got a mediocre dish with soft mushy veggies. Ordered sweet lemon supreme which is a stir fry in orange ginger sauce... got some kind of soup. So do yourself a favor and skip this place. Wild Ginger in Norwell is great and Lime Leaf is also good. read more

I've been coming here for SUCH A LONG TIME! the 1st time I came here, a friend of mine was on a very friendly relationship with the staff, so that was an incredible experience, but that was over 10 years ago. Each time since that, whenever I, myself, or my husband with others, the service, food, and quality got less and less, and prices got higher & higher. The way the food was back then was amazing! But, now it's just sort of OK. My husband often feels ripped off, and disappointed. Anyways, we can make our own Thai Tea now, at home. And, there's other Thai places which we like so much better. Sorry. I don;t like writing negative reviews, but it's just OK, and not really worth the drive. read more

Went to this place as I was craving some Thai comforts, and this place did not disappoint! The staff was very nice, and the vibe of the restaurant was pretty laidback. For food, their chicken ka pow was done pretty well for a classic, definitely much better than some of the others I've had elsewhere in the past. As for the apps, their Golden Bags stood out to me as they've got a great crunchy, springy mouthfeel to me. All in all, it was a very comforting treat! Will come back again! read more

Placed an order around 4 pm for a 6:30 delivery.... When the message came through at 6:05 pm saying the delivery was cancelled, I contacted the restaurant who informed me it would still be delivered, but by the restaurant rather than the delivery and the order was "on its way." At 6:42 still no food, but a text came in again saying it was "on its way." When I called to cancel at 7:10 I was promised the order was "almost there." Finally--I thought. However, the food was so cold, everything had to be microwaved, the order was missing items, the chicken cutlets were literally like shoe leather and the breading (which was thicker than the chicken) soaked with grease--threw that away. Rice custard was a strange and sickly gray color (threw that away) and dumplings were dry from over frying. One dish was edible, but nothing to rave about. Overall, I wish I had microwaved my own leftovers which would have been on time and tasted much better. Never ever ordering from this place again. By the way, an hour later and I'm still waiting for the promised phone call from the manager. That must have gotten lost too. read more

Ordered mango fried rice with chicken ($9.95), mango fried rice with beef (10.95, golden bags ($6.95), chicken puffs (6.95), and a Thai iced tea ($3.00) for pick up. The fried rices were okay. Not as flavorful as fried rice I've had from other Thai restaurants. The portion sizes for the fried rice were good but not for the golden bags (4) or the chicken puffs (3). The golden bags and chicken puffs were much more flavorful than the fried rice. The Thai iced tea was good but it was average if you know what I mean. It was just Thai iced tea. It tasted like it should have. My overall bill came to $40.25. For the price I feel like it was just okay but not really worth it. read more

Eh, it's alright. My friend and I ordered the Papaya Salad as an appetizer, and (not joking) it only had two shrimps. I ordered Pad Thai, and it had two shrimps again! You can see it in the attached photo (the other shrimp is hiding underneath the noodles). My friend got the Crispy Pad Thai, and it was too salty for her. Sigh... My husband just said to me that he thinks we're in a Thai food feeding frenzy which while funny, is true! We checked out yet another local Thai food establishment the other evening. Sweet Lemons is pretty and relatively small run by a charming group of people. Once again but no longer surprisingly, it's to be found in a strip mall. I always love to be taken aback by finding oasis-like spots in otherwise drab 70s-era strip malls. The staff as we have come to find in every Thai restaurant we've been to lately, is extremely friendly, helpful and at the ready. We ordered Chang beers which we sipped as we checked on the menu. For a starter we ordered the pan-fried veggie dumplings that were quite light, not greasy and pleasantly green in color thanks to a tasty dose of basil. It came with a nice dipping sauce but were fine on their own. There were 5 to an order and we thought 6 for two diners would have made better sense and probably wouldn't have brought the restaurant to financial ruin had they added one more on to the plate. Hub ordered what is called "Seafood Madness" which given our Thai Madness was a perfect name. This is ordinarily a super spicy dish (4 chili rating!) which he asked to have dialed down a notch when he ordered it. (He can't compete with my tough taste buds! ;-)). This is a dish with shrimp, scallops and squid in a hot chili sauce with basil and vegetables. He had that with a side of brown rice. It was a nice presentation on the plate. His take on his meal was that the portion was smaller than expected and while good was not nearly as good as other Thai food experiences we've had. Sorry, this is the most he would proffer by way of detail. I will say this did not stop him from eating it all. The name of my dish escapes me but it came from a separate vegetarian menu they have available upon request, which faithful readers, you know annoys me. I'm anti-separate menus. Put everything on one menu, dear restaurant-owning friends!! The separate menu is not advertised. So the message here is that when dining anywhere, try asking if they have a separate veg menu if that's your inclination. Restaurants often do have them, I've learned. I told the server that I like spicy and asked for her recommendation. I ordered her suggestion which was a mix of tofu, string beans, carrots, zucchini and other assorted stir-fried vegetables in a spicy, slightly cardomom-y, slightly curry like sauce. As my Yelp friend Lolia S. knows, that while she is the most awesome Fro-Yo Girl and Laptop Camper, I have to qualify at this point as The Tofu Queen. While my tofu dish was spicy and interesting, the problem I had with it, was that the spice mixture was not well incorporated into the sauce. This meant that the pieces of tofu and some of the vegetables had a coating of the dry spice still on them. The spices needed to be better whisked into the sauce as this texture was slightlly off putting and there was an unfortunate emphasis on the individual spices rather than a melding of all the flavors. This dish came with a side of rice noodles that was problematic. When any noodles sit too long with no sauce on them they stick together. So what I got was a pile of noodles that I had to cut into with a knife since they wouldn't separate enough to serve myself a portion, having been glued together by their own starch. My platter of food didn't come with a serving spoon and I literally whispered or so I thought, to my husband, that I needed one when our lovely server gently swooped in with a serving spoon for me. She gets points for sure for attentiveness and for her super-human hearing prowess. An older gentleman who may have been the owner stopped by our table to inquire about our meals. I do like that....although my husband thinks he stopped by because he saw me taking photos of the food. Too full for dessert we paid up and as we were leaving, a chorus of thank yous and goodbyes from smiling faces escorted us out the door. I wish the food had been a tad better. The pretty space and the lovely staff were so great that I do think at some point we'll give this place another try. With a hat tipped to Lolia S., I'm signing off as Tofu Queen. Got takeout, chicken satay with peanut sauce and steam vegetables. The chicken satay portions were very small and overcooked. The steam vegetables were soggy I was born in Bangkok Thailand and lived there for six years. Probably the worst chicken satay I've ever had. read more

Solid 4.5 stars. This hidden gem in Weymouth. Not really off the beaten path, is a great value of quality Thai. Plenty of parking and a very nice staff. Must tries: beef and or chicken satay, Tom Yom soup, and any variant of a Pad Thai... you cannot go wrong! read more

Service was good. Restaurant was nice and I love the incense scent when I came in. The decor was nice too, a lot of Thai elements. I ordered the Thai wonton soup for starter. It came with 3 dumplings, scallions, chopped pieces of celery and bok choy. Quite tasty. Beef Thai fried rice and chicken/shrimp pad Thai was ok. The fried rice came out different than what I expected, the beef was tender, chunky julienne carrots.. a bit salty. Pad Thai was normal and sweet, no lime. Thai custard and sticky rice for dessert because they didn't have mango. It was awesome!!! Definitely try this. Nothing bad about this place. Food was not bad, service was not bad either. The best Thai in weymouth! We have been ordering from here since we moved to weymouth 5 years ago and it's fantastic! The staff is so sweet and while we mainly stick to take out we have eaten a few times in the restaurant (precovid) with our kids and the food comes out super quick. 3.5 star!! 3 star for food, 4 star for ambience and 4 star for service. I use this place for take-outs most of the times and never dis-appointed. The food is descent. The staff working there are very friendly and humble. I also went in for lunch couple of times with my friends and liked the inside ambience. My personnel favorite is the lemon chicken wings which is just about at the right spice level that comes with onion rings and tempura. It is a descent size for a single person. The tofu veggie stir fry is also one of my go-to options. The tofu pad thai is descent and so does the green curry. In the fried rice section i tried their sweet chilly fried rice with chicken and the mango fried rice. The later is not my thing it is more on the sweeter side with squashed mango pieces adding more to the sweetness. In the soup section i tried their Tom-kha which is made with coconut base with a touch of lime and galangal and tastes different from the rest. Of all the entrees what stood out was the panang curry. It is super delicious and never goes wrong!! In the entree section they also have the option to "create your own" with options for meat, stir fried sauce/curry sauce & side dishes.
