    Beef Chow Fun

Take out Chinese food on Randolf Main Street, a few tables for eat in with basic ambience. Food ok, could do more flavor for beef chow fun, house lo mein and shrimp lo mein.

Don't know about the quality of their Chinese food, but their rolls suck. They are falling apart, they look absolutely unattractive and what's more important there is almost no salmon in Philadelphia roll. Disappointed. Would never recommend and would be happy to go back in time never waste my money on it.

A14 Lobster Sauce , Chicken Wings and Chicken Fried Rice. I'm in loveeeeee

Worst food ever. Never again and it was expensive. The shrimp tasted fishy. Lobster sauce tasted like very heavy soy sauce

They really need an attitude adjustment, especially the older gentleman there. Food was subpar, nothing to die for.

The food was gross. I couldn't find one good thing about it. The rice was weird, it tasted like a greasy dirty fryer. Sorry.

They do not have an extensive selection of sushi rolls like other Japanese restaurants, but what they do have they do very well. The rice is well seasoned, and there isnt a thick layer of rice like you would get from supermarket sushi. If you order online you do have to pay in person at the store as there no option for online payment.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and affordable their food was. Staff here was rather neutral, with nobody really going above and beyond (kind of to be expected at these fast casual style restaurants), but nobody was bad or rude at all. For dinner, I started with a side order of their seaweed salad, which was fantastic, and actually one of the better seafood salads I've had recently. After that, I ordered both a salmon combo and an eel combo, which comes with a maki roll and nigiri. The portions were about what I expected, nothing huge but certainly not small, and it tasted of good quality. While it wasn't my absolute favorite sushi's I've had during my time in the area, I'd certainly stop back for a quick and reasonably priced roll or two!

I recently wrote a review for the 'Hot & New' Omori in Quincy. While I am not a detractor of Omori,…read morethe experience there left something to be desired. This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.

While my order was in route, the restaurant called and informed me that my driver forgot the hot items. Before I could even feel an ounce of disappointment and without prompt I was asked for my address as well as phone number and their delivery guy brought my ramen! No extra charge, and when I tried to give him a tip, he politely declined. THAT is platinum level of customer service. And to top it off, the sushi was delicious...I cannot wait to heat up and try the ramen. Highly suggest, if I could give more stars I would!

When I saw the impressive average star rating of Hao on Yelp, I took it as a sign to give up on the traffic & treat myself to some sushi instead. I arrived just after they opened (around 4:50pm) & I had the restaurant to myself. It was clean, bright, & joyfully decorated. I was immediately struck with how cheerful & kind the server was. I felt like I had sat down in her home - that's how hospitable & familiar she felt. I asked for a bowl of miso soup to start, & it appeared in front of me in less than 3 minutes. It was warm, balanced, & the perfect appetizer. I moved on to some toro nigiri & their "crispy rice" appetizer (which was topped with spicy tuna, tobiko, honey miso, eel sauce, & fried seaweed.) The toro was spectacular. It was tender, fresh, & topped with a balanced little chutney situation that tasted a bit like wasabi. I don't like wasabi. I always opt out, if I can. But this little chutney was delicious! The crispy rice appetizer was spectacular & comforting as well. I could've eaten 2-3 more servings. I concluded my meal with an order of avocado & cucumber maki. It was rolled tightly & well balanced. A perfect, fresh roll. I'm so glad I stopped here! Dining in was a great choice. I felt welcomed & comfortable. Everything came out quickly, the sushi was incredible, & the service makes me want to sit in traffic again just to return. Enthusiastic 5/5 stars.

Location is great, there were able 2 employees working the front. Not really sociable with us but very chatty with each other. Pricing is a bit on the higher end for the quality for sure, out of 7 dishes between a group of 4 and 2 were for sure pre-made items only 2 dishes were ok. As for the food itself, I can say it's more on a "cleaner" side vs the extra flavor and oily texture you'd get from a fast food chain. The ramen broth was subtle, the noodle perfect, but the flavor wasn't there. The Chef special roll was way over priced for what you get, especially only having 1 piece being the best out of the "assorted" fish. The hibachi wasn't good in my opinion, good portion though. Would not order that again. The chicken teriyaki flavor was great, chicken texture was more like grilled on a pan vs over flame. Loved the veggies though. The gyoza and takoyaki were good as well as the strawberry mochi icecream. Wish they were more friendly though, making us feel like we were inconvenient for them was a major turn off.

The food quality is above average, the execution is high, and the service is attentive. The space is clean and efficient, but lacks warmth. We visited the day after a large 1-2 foot snowstorm, and Ochi was one of the only restaurants open in town. I've eaten at Ochi 4x since it opened in 2023, although there's a lot more to explore on its expansive and prolific menu. On this visit, we tried a Tuna Poke Bowl, a Salmon Pome Bowl, a Katsu Ramen, a Mango Salad, and a Mochi desert. Regarding the Tuna Poke Bowl, Ochi took the liberty of substituting more expensive fatty tuna (Toro), for regular tuna (Maguro), a generous and appreciated gift as a thanks for dining on a very slow night due to the storm. Hence, I would recommend everything we tried: the Mango Salad, any of the Sushi, Sashimi and Maki choices, the Poke bowls and Ramen (especially the Spicy Miso Ramen, the chicken Katsu Ramen, and any of the traditional pork or beef Ramen choices). In addition, the deserts are especially worth trying, and are all well orchestrated. You can't really go wrong at Ochi.
