Absolutely horrific. The one star is for the staff but otherwise, the food was truly an insult to the Vietnamese heritage. The grilled pork in the spring rolls looked promising but after one bite, I swear it tasted like moth balls spouts to be sure, another bite as taken. And just as fast as my mouth opened, I spat it out. Yup - moth balls. Making it worse, after the bite, the whole roll fell apart, it was a failure to tightly roll the noodles and veggies resulting a loosely rolled, mothball-tasting pork spring roll with watered down peanut sauce. N2 dish is the pork vermicelli and should also be known as bún thịt nướng. The noodles were overcooked, the pork as not grilled - not even fried. I swear, I heard a microwave and by the look of the meat, it was reheated. This was the first that I have ever seen the grilled pork come out with red coloring (like the Chinese bbq). Bún thịt nướng in Vietnamese means Barbecued (grilled) pork, there was no char, no caramelized savoriness, and this was absolutely not grilled! and the pork was mostly fat and gristle. The upside, there was enough fish sauce and sriracha to drown the pork for edibleness. read more

We ordered a variety of items to share at home for Mother's Day supper... Everything was really good! The pork Banh mi was delicious! Both the tofu pho and the eye of round pho were spot on... that spicy sauce you add made it perfect! The pad thai and chicken fried rice were both great too! Saigno Pho is the best vietnamese food I have had in Houston. A lot of good places in Houston, but this place was spot on and at another level. What a find out in Tomball. My wife and I had dinner there and each ordered the Pho with Brisket. It really was exceptional. We tried the spring rolls after reading a review on yelp about them, and they did not disappoint. They were definitely made fresh at the time of our order. The owners both waited on us, prepared the food and were very welcoming. You can see they enjoy serving and are prideful in their food It was a meal that seriously showcased some real craftsmanship. I can't say enough about this place. To top it off, the owner makes fresh macaroons (French style). They were amazing, my mind was blown. We will be back often. read more

We brought a party of eight in and each of us loved our experience. Fresh and flavorful spring rolls. We had three different varieties of Pho, curry, fried rice, Pad Thai, and beef with lemongrass. Really enjoyed the steamed dumplings. The kicker comes at the end of the meal, when we tried the Vietnamese Macarons and a selection of small cheesecakes. Service was terrible. We ordered the pad Thai and it smelled awful and the taste was just as bad. When we asked if we could exchange it for something else, we were told no, because we ordered it. They then just walked away. They didn't refill the tea glasses or check on us at all. We will never return! read more

They have good variety of Vietnamese, Korean, Thai and Japanese food. Though being raised in Vietnamese Bellaire town for over 20 years, the pho and vermicelli bowl tasted bland. The pho broth is from a package and not cooked with bones and the necessary broth ingredients to make it taste right. The pork was salty. The vegetable are very good in color and tasty and not watered down or cheap. The dishes is better served in a commercialized area who does not have a well defined taste for Vietnamese food. read more

This is our go to place for dates! We love and enjoy going there almost every week. Their food is amazing I never regret the choice of Vietnamese food always accompanied with a Vietnamese coffee which consist of condense milk and at least 1 to 2 shots of espresso in cold ice. Or a bubba tea, which sometimes is a smoothie of choice or a sweetened milk tea with tapioca balls. We like the cleanness that the place feels, it just feels that the food is of good quality and take care of the place and keep it always always clean. We specially love the hospitality of the owners, this is a family owned business where the owners know us as regular customers. Worse Vietnamese meal I have ever had. Curry chicken had no curry flavor, just an oily green sauce and minimal amount of chicken. Shockingly the pho was equally as bad or worse. The "chicken" used in the dish appears to have been sliced fron a roll of processed chicken. It looked like a slice of bologna and tasted worse. I absolutely love this restaurant. I usually come in alone and order a taro boba drink and get some house-in made french macaroons. When I eat I usually get the chicken curry spicy. I honestly have NEVER had anything bad here. The workers are always nice and do not bother to much, just enough. I crave this place a lot and have taken my bf, my mom, and my boss here to eat and have as well told many others about it. Its about time I write a review. There has never been a time when I have left Saigon unsatisfied. The staff is sociable and honestly a pleasure to interact with. Of course, I know you don't go to a restaurant to make friends with the staff, you go to eat food. So on the topic of the food, the answer is simple. The food is good, and at a reasonable price. The hardest part is trying to decide what to get, as the menu has a solid variety of options, each with different variations on the dish. I personally recommend the curry and don't be turned off by the idea of it being too spicy as the heat scale ranges from mild to very hot, so it should be to anyone taste. read more

We had the spring rolls, summer rolls, combo pho, grilled pork banh mi, and boba tea. Boba tea flavor was good. The boba was a bit soggy but I'd drink it again. The rolls were pretty good, but I think the summer roll was missing mint and basil. The pho was pretty good. They gave a plate with plenty of basil, however no culantro. I didn't really like the banh mi. The carrots/daikon didn't taste very pickled and I think the bread was a little too big. The meat is like chinese style bbq pork (the kind that's dyed red) with nice bits of charring on it. The meat itself I liked a lot but not so much in a banh mi. Unfortunately they didn't have the type of meat options I prefer. Overall not bad if you're in the area. read more

Literally baffled at these reviews, the only conclusion I can think of is that the food quality in this area is low so the expectations follow suit and people are easier to impress. My daughter and I happened upon this place and we could not have been happier! We started with the Vietnamese spring rolls. They were so fresh that it was like they were made only once we ordered them. The rice noodles still had a tiny bit of warmth to them when compared to the cold vegetables surrounding it. My daughter had the chicken pad Thai and was thrilled with her selection. I had the eye round pho. The broth was deeply flavorful the beef was so thinly cut and every bite was tender and melted in my mouth. The service was great and the staff was so helpful in our selections. This would be a great place for someone to try Vietnamese food for the first time bc, as a family run business, they were happy to talk about the differences of the dishes and I'm sure would have loved to show you how to eat some of the different dishes if you were not familiar. We just got back from this little gem of a restaurant. My body was craving Pho while recovering from a nasty cold. Saigon Pho did not disappoint. The white meat chicken was very fresh and lean. I ordered the large bowl which is about a gallon of soup for $7.95. It was delicious!!! Before we finished, we order a couple of their macaroons. OMG - these are amazing. And we've had what we thought were the best ones ever at the Gourmet Bakery in The Woodlands, but my wife and I agree that these were even better. I can't wait to go back when I'm feeling better.
