Where shall I even begin with this place? First off, I found this place because of TikTok. Pleasing to the eye? Yes, most definitely. If you're one of those people who are always looking for new places to try and take cute pictures with their food, this place would be the place to go to. Just remember, its only for pictures. You will understand why in a moment.
The reason why I'm giving this place 1 star is because of two reasons. First reason is because its pet friendly, and they have little pet treats for your furry family member. Second reason is because it really won't allow me to do 0 stars. The food and service here is beyond horrid, and when I say horrid, it was the nice way of saying it. There was no service what so ever. They have a "community side" where if there's an empty table, go ahead and sit there. You order off a QR code, which was pretty simple to do. There are a lot of different kinds of food to choose from .. ranging from katsu sandwiches, dim sum, sushi, and ramen. My party and I pretty much ordered something from each category.
Lets start off with what my bf, daughter and I ordered. We ordered 3 rolls, 1 katsu sandwich, 1 treasure box, 2 XLB, and 1 salted egg bun. One of the rolls we ordered was supposed to be baked .. it definitely wasn't. The other two rolls were simple rolls, a shrimp tempura and a saki maki roll. The katsu sandwich .. I think this was the only thing that was good out of everything that everyone had ordered. No cap. I kid you not, the sandwich of all things was probably their best item. The treasure box .. oh man what a disappointing thing to see. I had gotten it because it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye in the pictures. When I had gotten it, my initial reaction was "this isn't what I ordered." It looked NOTHING like the pictures. Apparently their togo items, and their in house items do not look the same what so ever. To make it worse, the sashimi didn't taste fresh. The XLB and the salted egg bun looked like it was something they bought at Costco and defrost it to resell. It was not good at all, nor was it even warm.
Lets go on and explain what happened with the rest of my party. We all ordered seperately through the QR code .. so there was about 4 other orders besides mine. 2 of the orders were the same .. which was for the maguro don. In the picture, it looks like a pretty decent size for its price. When it came out, it was literally 5 bites and the boys were still hungry. My other friend had ordered ramen, egg rolls, and 2 rolls. They messed up her order by putting in avocado in her rolls when she specifically put in the notes that she didn't want avocado in the rolls due to being allergic. They took back the rolls, and told her that it was not stated she didn't want avocado, but she showed it to them on her phone. Instead of remaking her rolls first, they told her she has to wait for the other 7 orders that they had to do. Really? The ramen that they got was literally water with noodles. Honestly, I could have made instant ramen at home, throw an egg and some meat in there and it would have made them pretty happy. The egg rolls .. no complaints since everything else was a failure. The last order .. was well .. never gotten. My friend ordered har gow, and the treasure box. He got the har gow which was also from the frozen isle at the super market. His treasure box .. no where to be seen. 40-45 mins later .. still waiting, he decided to go get his money back because everyone else was done eating and his just never came out.
Moral of the story, if you're gonna go try something at this place, make sure you go there with super low expectations and especially not hungry. You will leave pretty upset that the food quality really wasn't what you were expecting. If you're going here to take pictures of the place, by all means go enjoy that because you definitely won't enjoy the food or customer service. read more
