Tried this place out since I always drive by it. The interior is clean and service is friendly. The food was prepared in a timely manner. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Bathroom was clean. Very impressed and recommend.

    Udon and Tonkatsu Ramen

This is strictly a review for the ramen and udon! Tonkotsu ramen was pretty good! I'm not 100% sure if it's authentic tonkotsu, but all things considered it hit the spot on a rainy Wednesday. It was savory without being too overpoweringly salty, had two pieces of tender chashu (which is rare in this economy), and the noodles had a nice bite to it. My friend got the udon and she said it was good, although she felt the chicken was a bit bland. We got the chicken karaage as an appetizer and it was good, but the sauce definitely carried.

Still serving good quality sushi for the price. It's good enough unless one had an expensive taste for sushi and willing to pay more, but if you just need some quick and simple sushi that won't break the wallet, this is the place to go. Besides sushi they also serve good portion bento bowls.

This place has a good amount of variety. From sushi rolls to different subcategory of Japanese cuisine. Ramen, sushi, bento boxes, some poke as well. The service was straightforward and a nice vibe, it has nice decor adding to the atmosphere. I took my brother for a belated birthday gift and enjoys sushi a lot. If you like variety this can be ideal, specially with the bento boxes. Everything looked appealing and tasted very fresh. Ordered Bento box comes Miso soup Poke tower 3 sushi rolls Nearest buses are 51A, 30, and O lines.

Really enjoyed my brief "layover" at this sushi spot in Alameda. I was in town for another reason but detoured here first. Blame it on the yelp reviews! My roll and sake nigiri were delicious! Freshly made with unagi, salmon, avo and cucumber - most of my fave ingredients. Miso soup was comforting and not too salty. Rice was good too. Dining area was spacious, open and the service was pretty good. I wanted to try more off the menu so I'll definitely have to return!

Decided to try this from all the reviews I've seen on DoorDash. Ordered for pick up. Street parking only, very hard to find. Had to drive around the block 3x but finally got lucky. California roll was almost $10 which was kinda expensive, but the roll was big! Totally worth it. I had the super California roll which had unagi on top. Lion king and fried Philly roll as well. Everything was delicious. Wouldn't mind coming back. The inside was nice and clean, cute decor. There was seating outside in the front as well.

Updating my review of Sushi & More to an easy five stars. This gem of a sushi restaurant in Alameda has been exceptionally consistent in providing great food and equally great service. Whether you're dining in, or getting takeout, the food is always fresh and presented well. We've been doing takeout the last few times, but we'll have to sit down at the restaurant again one of these days. In walking by this place recently, it looks like they've made some updates to the interior, and it looks really nice. Keep up the great work, Sushi & More, we'll see you again soon!

This is my family's favorite sushi restaurant in the area. We always get the beef (rib eye) bento box. The beef is always cooked right and its never over cooked! I really appreciate that! My elderly parents really like their chicken udon. They like flavor of the broth and the chicken is cooked to their liking. You cant go wrong with their chirashi, hamachi sashimi or their salmon sashimi. Any one of them is delicious! All are served with miso soup and salad. We have also tried their baked lion king roll, baked bay scallop roll and double hamachi roll and all three are excellent choices. Majority of their stuff is served in to-go boxes. Nothing wrong with that but apparently they are very a popular spot for to-go Japanese food. It's crazy but they also serve boba drinks. The servers are all very nice and welcoming. We haven't had any bad services here and we will continue to visit!

We were very pleasantly surprised with Sushi & more. First time in, beautiful establishment with a great vibe plus our server was so friendly. The food was good, we had the jalapeño poppers which were amazing. For sushi we tried the lion king, shrimp lover, & nice. They were all good & generously sized.

Best sushi in alameda! Super fresh and super yum! Tried the hamachi sashimi today. Great keto option! Served with soup and salad. All delicious!

I come here regularly when visiting family. The Bentos are always a great option if you're feeling extra hungry otherwise the EZ bowls are filling lunch as well. The EZ Bowls are great since they come with a perfectly crispy, croquette, -like a giant hash brown chock full of potato. Good amount of salmon and beef with the teriyaki options with enough for leftovers. The double Hamachi roll was great too with large pieces of fish in the roll and on top. The inside of the restaurant is very clean as well and pretty modern since they updated recently. Parking can be tough as always on Park Street, but otherwise solid place for lunch, dinner or takeout.

Just moved to Alameda and looking for a good sushi spot on the island. I placed an order for pickup, but when I got home saw that Hamachi Nigiri had fallen over in transport, revealing a hair in the rice. Appears to be a dog hair. Guess our new spot won't be Sushi & More!

I did not have any sushi so I won't be able to comment on that. Pork Belly Don was on the fatty side for my preference so end up needing to cut fat portions out before eating. Which is fine with me since I know there may be people who would like it. However, the taste was a little too salty and it did taste a little towards soy sauce pork belly, with the only difference that theirs is also very garlicky. Beef udon had reasonable udon though the beef was lacking in flavor. The beef meat could use some light seasoning before cooking so that it's more appealing vs being bland. Good customer service. Granted we were the only one eating in, while there were people doing take outs, they had good customer service. We left an item and didn't even notice, but they called us from our reservation info to get the item back to us - which I appreciate a lot. Due to being the only people eating in, it was on the quieter side with music playing in the background.

Based on the reviews I decided to stop by and order a roll to satisfy my craving. Upon entry, I noticed the restaurant was fairly empty (great) and it appeared that only one employee was working at the time. The employee was pleasant he answered my questions and was quick with completing my order. My roll appeared to be made with care and I couldn't wait to dive in. To say the least my roll was A-Mazing. The ingredients tasted fresh. The roll didn't burst open as I picked it up with my chopsticks, etc. My concern is with the prices. This Japanese restaurant food items are priced really high. I paid $25 dollars for a pretty basic tempura roll. I wanted to try some other items but didn't want to leave out paying $50 for a to go meal.

It's a cute little spot and aesthetically pleasing. I believe it's a kitchen hall where multiple restaurants are combined into one? You're able to order curry, dim sum, Japanese sandwiches, bento boxes, etc in one spot. Theres indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated where the cushion chairs were. Then we scanned a QR code on the table and started a group order/tab. I was looking for some comfort food during these gloomy days so I ordered the Japanese curry with katsu which came with miso soup. Our food was served through a robot was pretty cool! The curry was good! My total for two curries with katsu, including tax and tip came out to be about $50. I'm rating this place a 3.5 due to our table not being wiped down prior to being seated, there were crumbs on it and our server just picked some of it up but did not wipe down the table. Other cushion seat tables were also not wiped down and the cushion seats had crumbs and stains on them. A family came in and their high top table was wiped down . We also didn't have any napkins in our holder so I did have to get up and grab it from another table. But I would come back and try this place again, maybe during the weekend.

I always get sashimi but I got to have my uni ( sea urchin ) craving knocked out ! They were plump and sweet but still had that fresh ocean taste omg ! Amazing . Salmon sashimi was nice thick cuts and melted like butter . For the roll the waiter recommended the island roll and it was pretty good ! I also got oysters ( kinda on the smaller side ) but still were fresh and the sauce they give to go with it was a nice touch . We also got the chicken teriyaki sushi combo which comes with Cali rolls and nigiri . The cuts on the nigiri were big as well ( but didn't taste as fresh as the salmon nigiri ) and they were gracious with the amount of tobiko they top the Rolls with . miso soup and salad was good . Overall I would definitely come back to try other rolls they have a lot of speciality rolls ! And if you like uni like me , definitely they got you covered !

The cucumbers and avocados were fresh with the cucumber and tempura shrimp adding a nice crunchy flavor. - orange blossom: contains tuna, avocado, salmon, tobiko. Very generous and thick slices of salmon! - lion king: contains imitation crab, cucumber, top baked salmon, unagi sauce, mayo, tobiko. A classic option that you can't go wrong with!
