Bento with pad see ew , tuna roll, gyoza
    Tina A.

OK food Bento box - pad see ew was burnt and overly salted - tuna roll was nothing special - gyoza should have been drained first, it was quite oily. or perhaps one with lighter skin could be purchased these are all foods my toddler usually loves however the execution was not right with the cooking Service was friendly. Atmosphere was cozy and seating was limited. the bathroom outside has a tricky lock that you may need to ask for help with. Overall I do not recommend to return unless food is of consistent good quality.

A great place to grab lunch on a weekday. Their lunch combo is a great deal! You get an appetizer, entree, salad, and soup all for $16. The pad see ew with chicken was super delicious and made to my spice level just as I asked! The fried spring rolls are super tasty and come out piping hot! Customer service was great and plenty of seats !

My first meal in Alameda. This restaurant is a fusion of Thai food and sushi. I ordered three sushi rolls and two Thai dishes. The sushi is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. The quality of the food is good and the portion size is worth the price. The Thai food I ordered was crab fried rice and Kra paw Beef (come with rice). The food was delicious. The crab fried rice is the MUST !!! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and warm.

We love Blue fin sushi Thai as our neighborhood restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is very very good. It's nice to have a broad menu where everyone can find something delicious from Thai food, Japanese food, and sushi. It's great also cause it's right next to the Encinal Market.

Have ordered takeout from here a couple times as the fusion with Thai food can be fun sometimes. - Tempura: we ordered this once and haven't ordered it since. When I came home with my order, I realized our tempura was missing. I immediately called the restaurant to mention this and they said they would have it ready if I wanted to go back to pick it up. I would have appreciated a discount or something for this lack of attention to detail, but let it slide. When I got there, they handed me the box right away and said they reheated it for me so it should be warm. One thing to know about tempura is that it cannot be reheated - it ruins the entire dish as the tempura batter is supposed to be light and crispy. When you reheat it, it becomes soggy. When I mentioned this, they wouldn't budge on creating a new order. - 49er roll: average 49er roll - Crazy salmon roll: I enjoyed the spice and ikura on top of the roll I would recommend trying a variety of their dishes. For the most part, they are good. The three stars is simply for the tempura incident and I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.

The best sushi I have ever had. Attentive service. I love sitting outdoors at restaurants. Although the patio area is near the street you never feel the energy of cars because the patio is surrounded by planters. There are several tables, most with umbrellas, it's quaint.

I had a Thai iced tea, chicken wings and spider role not necessarily in that order. The beverage seems to taste the same wherever I go. The chicken wings were good served up with a sweet sauce. The spider role was delicious. Liked the crunchy aspect of some of it. The service was good in this small restaurant. Not a bad place to grab a bite. I was part of a group of eight people. They do have an automatic service charge for certain size parties. Since we had the server issue a couple separate checks it didn't occur to me that the gratuity was already built in to the bill. Glad my friend spoke up and had the bill amended.

Stopped by here for lunch and dined outside. The sweetest waitstaff helped us. We were served ice cold water right away. The bento box lunch special caught our eye. You choose one appetizer and one entree. it comes with a salad with a delicious ginger dressing, rice, and a juicy slice of orange.

All aboard the sushi love boat! We are about to embark on a seafood paradise adventure. crazy salmon roll -- I liked this roll more cause of the salmon and ikura (which I think resembles popping boba) heh nikko crunch roll -- this roll was just ok. gyoza came in a cute little boat dish. Crispy and flavorful. takoyaki -- my fave! Well made and quite tasty! mix tempura -- my friends ate this and enjoyed it poppy love boat -- presentation is sooo nice!! Great variety and freshness of the sushi/sashimi. omakase nigiri -- again, another great presentation. Make sure to dip in soy sauce. seafood pad thai -- it was the sweeter, citrus side. Wished it was a tad bit spicer. Good amount of toppings from the shrimp. Yummy. green curry with chicken -- the green curry was soo good I kept on scooping for more and finished the whole bowl! There was a hint spice but still tolerable to eat. beef teriyaki -- liked how the sauce was served ok the side so you could put per your liking. Service is welcoming and accommodating. I'd come back if I was in the area.

Me and my friends have to decided to give this place a try since we were really craving sushi. Our experience here was amazing!! The staff were super welcoming and nice. They sat us down, gave us plenty of time to order and served us nice cold water :) We came around at a slow time so our rolls were made pretty fast. Our number one favorite so far is the Golden State Roll. When leaving we were thanked by the entire staff!! Overall the food was amazing and we will be coming back soon.

This place gets 5 stars for their food, service and ambience. My boyfriend and I came upon this place because we were intrigued that they served Thai food and Sushi (genius). We love ordering their Chicken Satay and their Mexican Roll. The servers are so kind and always remember us when we go:)

The staff is super friendly! Really appreciated how nice they were, and the service is fast (there was not a lot of people when I came in so keep in mind). We stopped in for dinner with some out-of-town family during the Christmas holiday, and the whole experience was utterly delightful. The staff were warm and welcoming, the ambiance was pleasant, and (most importantly) the food was EXCELLENT. I neglected to get pics of everything we ordered, but my Tofu Don (teriyaki tofu with ground pork and eggs over rice) was incredibly tasty - the perfect "comfort food" for a cold rainy evening. I can't say enough about how lovely and kind the staff were. They went way beyond simply taking our order and serving our food - rather, they made us feel like family, treated us to dessert, and even sent us home with a small bottle of sake as a thank you for dining with them. This place is new and probably a bit under the radar at the moment, but it really deserves to become one of the must-try joints in Alameda. Check it out ASAP!

It's better this way. Try it. Saturday was unusual in that they were short staffed and almost at capacity. The food and service did not suffer. I'm not so sure I'd be that pleasant if I had to serve the entire restaurant on my own. To add to the vibe, I dropped the soy sauce container. Fortunately, me and my light pink shirt were the only casualties, but I made a huge mess. Napkins were thrown my way by other customers. I cleaned the table and floor. Yes, I really went for it. Most of the soy sauce was on me and my shoes. The server apologized she didn't completely wipe up my mess. No worries. It was my fault. Hashi Gawa has become a fave for Dad and I. He found this place so we went to give it a try. It's in a plaza so there's parking . When you walk in it's a cute store front . Modern but cozy . Customer service was nice and fun . Our waitress was very helpful . Oysters on the half shell were fresh. Yall know that's my favorite and I'll never tell no lies ! The sauce they put on it was a nice touch and not overbearing the fresh oyster taste ! Tempura has a nice crispy batter and the prawns were plump not skimpy or chewy . I also got the Santa Barbara hand roll because I really wanted uni but they don't sell uni as an appetizer. The hand roll itself was good nice flavor loved the salmon eggs , just wish there was more uni ( probably because that's what I really wanted lol I'm being honest okay ). But the star of the show for me was the SPICY LION KING ROLL . I've had plenty of lion king rolls throughout the years but never had a spicy one and it was bomb . I think what makes it spicy is the sauce they use . Wasn't too hot just an extra little kick to everything going on . We were sitting right next to the sushi makers and they overheard us talking about how good it was and they loved our vibe . We chatted and got to a point they gave us a free dessert which was so good ! I forgot the name but it was like a soft fluffy pancake filled with cold cream like vanilla ice cream ! I'd definitely give them a try and would come again .

It's a cute little spot and aesthetically pleasing. I believe it's a kitchen hall where multiple restaurants are combined into one? We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated where the cushion chairs were. Then we scanned a QR code on the table and started a group order/tab. I was looking for some comfort food during these gloomy days so I ordered the Japanese curry with katsu which came with miso soup. Our food was served through a robot was pretty cool! The curry was good! My total for two curries with katsu, including tax and tip came out to be about $50. I'm rating this place a 3.5 due to our table not being wiped down prior to being seated, there were crumbs on it and our server just picked some of it up but did not wipe down the table. Other cushion seat tables were also not wiped down and the cushion seats had crumbs and stains on them. A family came in and their high top table was wiped down . We also didn't have any napkins in our holder so I did have to get up and grab it from another table. But I would come back and try this place again, maybe during the weekend.
