This Whole Foods location is full-size, with a full bakery, hot bar, and grocery selection. Having this place nearby made it a great home base for water, a snack, and delicious treats in a pinch. We enjoyed some hot bar items (delicious), some bakery items (scrumptious), and of course, grabbed hotel essentials for our stay, like water bottles and snacks. I didn't have much interaction with staff here, so can't speak on the service. There are lots of self-checkouts available. I'd say we ended up in this Whole Foods about 3-4 times in our 5-day stay. It was clean, organized, dependable, and for a Whole Foods in Seattle, reasonably priced.

The meat and seafood area had great selection and was so clean and fresh! The pantry type items also had an incredible selection. I wish I could have stocked up on so many things. For a quick lunch or dinner, stop by and try some of their prepared food items - great selection and I felt reasonable prices. I loved browsing all the aisles and was so inspired to want to make a delicious meal. Since I was traveling, I could only pick up a few items! Always super kind, approachable, and make you feel welcome instead of like a burden. *Cough Qfc, Cough* There are two places that just do not know how to disappoint. Trader Joes and Costco. The new version has hunter green straps. I was hoping that this Capitol Hill location would have it... I didn't see a parking lot. I circled the block about three times and decided to park on the street around the corner. A clerk inside the store said they have a parking garage - enter from 17th ... UHG! I'll look next time. Since we don't have Trader Joe's in Hawaii, I like to bring snacks home, but I focused this time on those canvas bags and even got some mini canvas bags and the olive green insulated totes! I also looked at the greeting cards, fresh flowers, and new items. Thanks for the convenient restroom and friendly employees! We were able to find Joey, the mascot, and received stickers and lollipops as our reward! This was a fun shopping experience!

Finally used the grocery pickup option as we're shielding so we can see an Immunocompromised friend, and I'll never use another. Not only is the quality of the produce better, but our shopper made sure that we received a much-needed substitution treat when our original choice was out. Not usually one for treats, but now more than ever, some cookies and kindness go a really long way (shoutout to Ali you're aces).

On this visit, I got one of those viral canvas tote bags... they're so popular overseas and are selling for around $40 when the original price is just $4.99, plus tax! The limit for the new green handled tote bag is 4 per customer. I also got some mini totes in the original colors of red, yellow, navy, and green handles. They're just $3.99, plus tax. The limit is 2 of each color. As usual, I looked at freshly cut flowers, greeting cards, and snacks. Everything is reasonably priced and the employees are very friendly and helpful! We found the mascot (a plushie monkey) and got free stickers as our reward (instead of a lollipop). It was a fun shopping experience!
