I stopped into Trader Joe's for something simple--just celery and poinsettias before Thanksgiving--and of course walked out with way more than I planned. The store was incredibly well stocked and sparkling clean, even with the pre-holiday rush. But the real standout here is the staff. EVERY SINGLE PERSON was amazing. Any time I had a question--whether they carried something or where it was located--someone immediately stopped what they were doing and walked me right to it. We have a family member with a gluten allergy, and the team went out of their way to help me find the right items. I even learned that gluten-free products have a small colored square on the left side of the price tag, which makes them super easy to spot. All around, an excellent experience. This is our go-to local grocery store. Their prices best competing big name stores. Their selection is great and always stocked up! The service is nice and helpful. There are always so many employees on shift, you will always have something there to help without running all around. I do not recommend going on weekends. As expected lines are long. Parking is full. Their lot is pretty small and always full to begin with. The store is clean and fun. They did a little rearranging recently. read more

I enjoy going to most Trader Joe's locations for their products, and often times, prices, but this one is my favorite in the area. It just seems to have the most comfortable vibe. The parking lot is big compared to others that are around. The store is clean and filled with workers who are happy to answer any questions or to help find a product. Even the restrooms are big, clean, and private. I usually leave checkout feeling pretty good after a short conversation with the cashier. Thumbs up! read more

I enjoy shopping at Trader Joe's in general and this Shoreline location does not disappoint. There is abundant parking, though when it is super busy one may have to circle a bit before a spot opens up. This is the Trader Joe's location closest to where I currently reside in Shoreline and it is nice to have nearby especially when picking up semi-prepared dinner items. Recently we have been trying the different raw and marinated meats for dinner which has been fun. Even more fun is that my dad, my mom, and I are finding we like the same things. Sometimes we disagree on what we like best from a given store, but here we are finding harmony on what we enjoy. The prepared salads have diversified over the past few years to include options the store did not carry before. The gluten-free breads selection is my favorite of any grocery store in the Shoreline area. Produce and frozen fruits are consistent in product quality. Sometimes the offerings can be a bit picked over, but tis the trend we are finding in these COVID-19 times. This can also be true if shopping during peak times or towards the end of peak times before the shelves can be replenished. The cart sanitation process is fast and we haven't had any problems not being able to get a cart when we have come shopping here during COVID-19 times. Workers have been consistently friendly in their interactions with us when we have visited. I have also noticed the workers tend to talk, sometimes loudly, about topics while in the store even when semi-busy. Typically I encounter this more when there are fewer patrons, so just an interesting observation for this location. It is neither good nor bad, just a thing I have encountered here and not so commonly elsewhere. And the Blarney Scone. Very thankful that Trader Joe's carries their Blarney Scone Irish Soda Bread around Saint Patrick's Day. We got a loaf to try and that ended up snowballing into my mom and I making Irish Soda Bread for the first time on Saint Patrick's Day 2021. Twas the Blarney Scone that inspired us. read more

This is my favorite grocery store. Things are priced just right. I prefer getting fresh cut flowers from here because of the price and the quality. The produce is of great quality as well. Do try their salad kits which are delicious. They also have ready to eat meal kits. Some of the favorite things to pick up from this grocery store are juices, coconut water, fresh produce, ready to eat salad kits, frozen Indian food, canned fizzy juices, potted plants. Also they have an amazing customer service, the staff is great, super nice and helpful. Have had the same experience in every Trader Joe's store I have been to. My boyfriend was trying to help with one of our purchases and Josh made some a sarcastic remark that was intended to be rude. We both fell silent, surprised at how rude he was. I found bits of plastic in this premade salad..... I told the manager and he didn't see to worry too much. I asked they pull the rest of them from the shelves. Several days later they call me to tell me all the recalls were voluntary then offered me $50 for the inconvenience and asked if I'm feeling okay....... I like to shopping at Trader Joe's any locations. Their products are good size of everyone. I have many favorites products here, especially Macha ice cream and espresso ice cream during hot weather. Hits my stomach & Addicted me! Also a wide variety of salads. Only my unlocked product is Avocado & Raisin bread. Other than I'm happy to purchasing and good services at the cashier. read more

I love TJ's. This store is still kicking it as an A rated store. I was here last week, and looking for this really yummy juice that I hadn't had in over a year. Asked an employee that was in the aisle for help, and he turned out to be a manager. He was beyond kind with me. He explained that it was no longer being carried in the store (I forget what it's called or would put it here to help others; dark purple and combo all purple veg/fruits). He explained that has happened with a lot of the juices. Hadn't shopped in a TJ's in a really long time and was in the neighborhood. Really glad I stopped by. I tend to forget about Trader Joe's until I'm in the mood for their snacks. Their plantain chips are super tasty and one of my all time favorites. Once I walk in the door, I remember how much I love to shop there. I always find something new and fun to try, and the staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I can't recall anything I've tried that I did not like. Plus, you know, you can't go wrong with the infamous "two buck Chuck". The parking lot at this location can get a little tetchy, so be patient and look both ways at least twice. read more

I love this location! Staff is helpful and friendly and will sometimes give recipe suggestions for items you picked out. As it's TJ's, they have a good selection of specialty items at a reasonable price point - this location is clean and well kept and it's on the way to the freeway entrance so it feels really convenient. They have a big parking lot but it can get wild during peak hours. read more

Never had a need for this Trader Joes until I started working in the area. I was shocked when I walked in and saw a perfectly organized and stocked store (u-district take notes). This location is spacious and has plenty of parking right outside. It was early in the morning when I went so that could have been why everything was so perfect, but nonetheless, I definitely plan on shopping here more often. read more

A newer location, this particular establishment is a bit larger (at least it seems) and clean. We love the frozen fallafel with spicy harissa sauce combined with Greek yogurt that we sampled (in Bellingham) and purchased. We wish this location also had small carts for children, as they are truly a highlight, but the store, itself makes up for the lack. read more

I love Trader Joe's. I typically visit the Belred location as well as this one in Shoreline. Not only are the food items packaged in the perfect quantity for me and my family but there's always a great variety of selection (ever changing and never boring) and the employees who work in both location are just so friendly and fun and always willing to share w me great recipes or product recommendations. Today the nice lady who helped me at checkout shared w me her story of her rescued dog once I started talking about mine. U always feel like you are valued not only as a shopper but a fellow human being. The folks that work here are always so genuine and therefore making the shopping experience a positive one! Comparing that with my most recent traumatic experience shopping at Central Market in Shoreline, which is a part of Town & Country Market ( see yelp review), it makes me have an even greater appreciation for markets such as Trader Joe's and PCC and Costco who do value their shoppers and treat them as such. I am so grateful for these places and that my grocery shopping experience can be pleasant and fun. Below I posted pix of some of the items I picked up today. But this trip we mistakenly didn't see a 2 Item limit and grabbed 5 for 2 of us, after notified, I put 1 back for 2 items per person (2 households) the staff priceeded to chase us around warning us and reprimand. I agree with the rest of the reviewers, having a large parking area is so great! I love Trader Joe's, but both UDistrict and Ballard locations are insane to park at. I love having this Trader Joe's in a more open area where parking isn't as stressful, so I know I will be coming here more often. I made a mistake of coming in here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, so it was super packed, hard to check things out with all the people and their carts in the way. But the checkout line was still pretty quick even with so many people lining up. I didn't have to wait too long. I love the selection of yummy frozen food TJ's has to offer. They're super affordable and delicious. I live the truffle flat bread, it's simply amazing! I actually came in to check out the box of macarons that my friend got at Ballard TJ's. I was really hoping this location will have it too, and it did! A box of 12 delicious macarons in 6 different flavors for $4.55! Yay! read more

I'm a TJs regular and visit this store about once a week for my shopping. It's a really great location starting from having plenty of parking. It's well organized inside and always clean. Even when it's very busy things are kept straightened out. They at times have long lines but they move quickly. I have had a few things go bad too quick or get moldy when I've gotten home and they've happily refunded me or replaced the item on my next visit in. What I like most about this store is that when I ask for my bags to be made "not too heavy" because of some health reasons, most baggers will make a test bag and have me try it to see if it's a good weight. At other stores they just disregard my ask all together. All in all, a great grocery option. read more

OK not a great review here. There milk products are frequently past shelf life. I know not to buy their half and half. Made the mistake of buying some 1 percent milk and I admit I did not check the pull date. Bought 7/3, pull date 7/4 - today is the 7/6 - today the milk curdled. Also, have purchased "fresh" packaged green beans that are a little slimy. Wouldn't bother to write this review - I prefer being positive. But I think this store has a problem with their products. Northern Seattle finally got their Trader Joe's! This location has wide aisles with high ceilings from the previous market tenants. Parking has never been an issue here during the week but on the weekend, exercise patience. The employees have always been friendly. On our last visit, I experienced some fantastic customer service. My husband ran inside to grab a few things while I waited in the car. I realised I forgot to ask him for something so called the store to ask if they had an item before texting my request to my husband. The employee that I spoke with checked on the item, and then found my husband to give him my message! My husband was startled though when the guy approached him with a tub of mango pudding... Back again for additional visits within the same week: 7/27/16 and 7/31/16. Glad to see that Shoreline's Trader Joe's isn't a flash in the pan. It has truly become part of the local business scene that the community supports. Decent patronage and always ample parking. Easy access from I-5 or 99/Aurora corridors. Love the selection and reasonable prices especially for snacks, baking ingredients, tasty frozen entrees to cart to work, and cookies! Here you can leave with a full shopping bag for under $40. Try that challenge at a Whole Foods. Hint - it would be an epic fail! So lucky to have both a TJ's and Central Market to add to my usual grocery runs at my favorite ghetto Fred Meyer. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with Trader Joe's. I love the products! I hate the crowds - so much of a good thing and everyone knows it! When I heard this store would be opening, it was like I won the lottery. It is fairly close to my house which makes shopping at off hours easier. The parking lot is decent size and thankfully, I don't have to deal with parking garages (ugh). The prices are great but I always end up buying so much stuff. From my favorite soy creamer to roasted seaweed to almond butter thins - Trader Joe's has my number! I love that new products are always rolling in and are reasonably priced to try. The staff seem friendlier to me compared to other stores, but that may be bias talkin'. And...if you aren't a fan of the narrow aisles, not to worry. This store has appears to have wider ones for you to navigate. I say "appears" because I haven't measured it out but it definitely feels more open compared to other locations. read more

I haven't met anyone who doesn't like TJ. This one is much bigger than the one in Lynnwood. It's well organized and clean as well. Actually, I haven't seen this particular fave messy in all the times i'd been here! Prices are always reasonable for the most part but of course, I can't speak for any of you. I always enjoy getting my snacks here from the packed roasted Seaweed (wasabi or regular) , my meats like salami or prosciutto di parma, cheeses, veggies, fruits, etc., as well as wines, vitamins--all is good find. I just love coming here! Never a dull moment. There is always free parking and so close to me. I can't and won't complain at all. Staff is always pleasant and very helpful. As good as it gets! 1st Trader Joe's I've seen with a public restroom! Yay! Let me say one thing: who ever is responsible for the design and layout of this place is a GENIUS. It flows so well, and all the art/props have a unique purpose, it's unbelievable! It's a gorgeous place, clean, spacious and unique from any other Trader Joes I've ever been at. Trader Joe's itself deserves 5 stars. However, it's always so crowded, no matter what location, no matter how many Trader Joe's stores there are, that I can't shop here anymore. I went by the Shoreline TJ's today at 2 pm -- ON A WEEKDAY! -- and there was not one single parking spot. Anywhere. 5-6 cars per aisle lined up, waiting. Not a single spot available on the surrounding streets or businesses. Sorry TJ's, I love ya but I can't shop there if I can't park. read more

For the longest time I really couldn't figure out the attraction here but now I'm just shopping for myself and I can pretty much say that they are as competitive as anyone. I've purchased milk here 3x now that's spoiled and chunky before I even get it open or over a week before the expiration date (3-4 days max after opening it).
