Tried this pharmacy after Rite Aid closed and it was a huge mistake. They do not fill prescriptions when they're sent in unless you apparently ALSO call them, which we were not informed about. I only learned this after showing up to pick up an important medication for my child and was told I'd have to come back the next day, despite there being over 30 minutes before closing. No effort to help, no sense of urgency, just indifference. A pharmacy's job is to provide timely access to medication. This one is unreliable, disorganized, and shows zero concern for patients. If you value your time -- or your health -- go somewhere else. read more

I was doing an instcart order that requested freshly sliced meat and cheese, the deli was already closed. But Jamie came to my rescue, she opened up just for this order, which means she had to rewash the equipment and clean up again. Went here for a quick trip and found everything I needed. Was in and out quickly, no line. Also found a few extra things in the bargain bakery bin, so score! It is a small store, and it has a great selection of meats/deli items, teas/coffees, ice cream novelties, and baked goods for a small store. It also has a solid selection of essentials. My family has been using the pharmacy here for over a decade. This QFC is the perfect place to stop and get groceries on the way home from work or if I don't want to travel far. It also has specific items that I cannot find at the bigger grocery stores near Richmond Beach. The cashiers have been friendly in all the years we have been going here. Even though this is my local store that I grew up in it's always a nice place to go no it is extremely helpful at the deli counter sometimes you have to ask for a back up cashier but for the most part they're on top of it their food is always fresh you can catch great sales great variety you can pick up anything you need here and you can get in and out rather fast parking is convenient and everyone here is nice and kind hearted and very helpful definitely a good selection good variety and great quality foods, the bakery is pretty amazing also and always giving samples read more

I recently had to come in here just two minutes before closing for one staple item that another nearby supermarket apparently stopped carrying. Not only did this QFC have multiple selections of the item I needed, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite leaving the store two minutes after closing. The same cannot be said for that other nearby store I'd visited earlier (which shall remain nameless), whose manager frequently begins yelling at and personally berating anyone still shopping within 15 minutes prior to close. I decided to stop shopping at qfc today, especially this one. Except for 2 or 3 employess this is the most unfriendly store i have ever shopped at. Despite the fact its close, convenient, and i know where everything is, it doesnt hide the fact everyone is shitty including the managers. This QFC seems crammed in and small with prices even higher than the average QFC. I've been here a few times with a friend that lives in Richmond Beach. No problems or complaints with anyone working there or with the store. Just average, ordinary and not memorable. Produce isn't great and the selection is small. We run in here typically just to grab a bite or a drink while heading for the beach. Large private parking lot with dim lighting. Bring a friend or a flashlight if shopping at night. read more

I've been on the look for bacon and have gone to 4 different QFC stores. I bring my own bags. The Shoreline QFC makes you pack your own bags if you bring your own. It's not always easy when your 67 years old to do this. I won't be going there ever again. read more

This isn't a ginormous, football stadium-sized QFC, just a nice little neighborhood store where you can get to know the staff. I've always thought QFC's deli and bakery are the best among the chain stores. I've ordered their Thanksgiving package when I was having a small holiday get-together at home, and I wasn't disappointed. Plus they send me personalized coupons based on my shopping preferences. Okay, it's marketing, but if you're gonna buy it anyway, might as well save some change. This location is open 24 hours, which is a big plus in my book. This is my neighborhood grocery store. It's small, but friendly and convenient. Their produce selection is not great. For instance, you can only buy organic parsley, rather than non-organic. I don't buy into all that organic bullshit so I think it's stupid to pay double the price for the same damn thing. Another thing I desperately wish they had was bulk spices! Not my favorite QFC, but the one I go to the most often sheerly out of proximity. read more

I love this little store and the people who run it! The flower shop is always ready to make something for you with a smile! The baked goods are freshly made and the area is super clean. Parking, Parking, Parking! The checkers are kind and fast, a joy to talk to, after a long day at work. The pharmacy is efficient! They know their wine! If you ask they will get something in they don't have. The seasons are displayed well, with food to match! It has convenience, Quality, and great people. They now have a great store manager who seems to be hands on and he always seems to be helping all over the store. This store beats that bad Fred Meyer with its crazy service desk! This is not only the worst QFC, but the worst grocery store I have ever been to. It's very unfortunate since I live just a stones throw away too. The produce is old, rotten, wrinkly and ANYTHING BUT "QUALITY"... How do you expect, us as the customers, to pay for this crappy produce. Every time I visit the Richmond Beach QFC, I have to spend so much time looking at expirations dates on the shelf products since so much of the items are ABOUT TO EXPIRE, yet again, ANYTHING BUT "QUALITY." I always instantly regret going to this QFC and not driving over to Central Market or the Edmonds QFC. When is this sorry excuse for a grocery store going to close... This store sucks. The employees are lazy slackers who don't even have the sense to say "Hello" when they walk by customers. The Ten Feet Rule is lost on them...especially the snobby manager. Today, there was no price on the Roma Tomatoes. I asked the produce guy what they cost. He went into the back room and brought some handheld device out. Told me the price, but didn't put that price in the price holder. What a dope...others are going to want to know the price, as well. Now, I know why the Produce Dept. is always such a disaster. The beverage section is worse. They are always out of the beer I like...DUHHH!...it's selling out every day...so, order MORE! Like others who have written, I'm not a fan and only go when I don't want to drive to Edmonds or Central Market. The management of this store is obviously inept and stupid. I was looking at one of The Manager's Specials and the special price was more than the normal price. D'oh! PLUS...they close at 23:00 for our inconvenience. They should close forever! Addendum: Almost a year later. Nothing has changed. It's worse! I wanted to buy some spinach. It was 2 for 3 dollars but the price was bent down so not visible. The spinach was wayyyy old and should have been tossed days ago. It was a Science Project and the formula for Food Poisoning. The person who took my money was a young checker. She was so sad and discouraged. The fake manager bagged my stuff. I said.."Thank you". He gave me a smirky half smile...did not make eye contact...said nothing and walked away. I asked her if everyone in the store hated his, or her, job? Her response..."Pretty much...I can feel it". Wow! Her challenge...initiate the forgotten practice of saying "please" and "thank you". Only store on my way home so I usually stop by after work between 8 and midnight seeing how we have a small business and I work late. The checker is nice but she felt the need to school me on her leftist political views has left me feeling really uncomfortable, when all I wanted to do is buy my groceries go home because I was tired after working more than 12 hrs... because that's what I do to make sure the other employees outside our family have jobs to pay their bills and feed their kids. read more

I am not sure how the staffing works for the deli department, but they consistently seem understaffed during busy lunch hours and underwhelmed with their job in general. They seem to avoid eye contact with customers and carry on personal conversations while there are people waiting. There is also no sense of urgency when they have a rush or " I will be with you in a moment" courtesy. Not sure what happened to their customer service, but it is certainty lacking. I do not base this off of one experience either as I have frequented the store out of convenience because of my work location. read more

Quite simply, the perfect grocery store. I love the size and the quality. Sure, it may be a bit dated, but the staff is exceptional.

This is the closest grocery store to my house. It is not my first choice for grocery shopping. That would be WINCO, but when I have to pick up something quick, this is where I go (which is at least once a week). The reason I don't shop here for the bulk of my groceries is their prices are just astronomical compared to WINCO. However, their produce is EXCELLENT. They frequently have a very good selection of day old/near expiring baked goods (it's in the back right corner of the store at the back of the produce and near the wine) Their baked goods are excellent, which includes cakes, cookies, donuts, fresh bread, and more. If you want a nice treat, this is where to get it. Again, the price isn't fantastic, but it's a good selection and good quality, too. They often have plants out front for sale, and if you get them early or late in the season, their sales are very good, too. Their Kroger brand chips are very good, but sadly, this store doesn't carry much variety. The Fred Meyer (which is about 8 blocks east) is the place to get the Kroger potato chips and tortilla chips. They often have longer lines, and of course charge the stupid 5 cents for grocery bags. However, depending on the lines, they often will not charge you for the bag if you've had to wait. Final bonus, Girl Scouts always sell cookies here in Late March to early April. read more

Sadly, after 16+ years, I am giving up on my neighborhood QFC. I now go out of my way to shop at the Edmonds QFC. The Richmond Beach store has always had poor quality produce, at astronomical prices, but the staff, at least, used to be friendly and helpful (neighborly). Recent new hires, however, ​have been neither. The checkers do not bother with a greeting,​ let alone make inquiries regarding assistance. The management must not care about service or quality, why else would the other QFC have good quality produce and friendly​, responsive, checkers? read more

I bought an Amazon gift card for my son for Christmas in the amount of $100. When he scratched the back to find the code, several of the numbers came off. QFC refused to refund my money or give me a new card. "All gift card sales are final," is what I was told. I was also told that I could contact Amazon - I have neither the time nor the inclination to hassle with Amazon. My son I myself we got food poisoning from Gluten free frozen Tortilla I bought at QFC in Shoreline.I did not check expiration date and I was shocked when I noticed One Tortilla expired on March 2015 and other one on April 2016..Be careful to not get sick from expired food from there. read more

I love the staff. This is my local grocery store and it's the grocery equivalent of Cheers for me and my family...everybody knows our name. Sure the produce manager is a grump, and they never seem to have certain items I need to complete a recipe and sometimes the dairy is expired, but the sum is greater than it's parts in this case. read more
