Compared to the other H Mart locations, this one is definitely a lot smaller. The aisles and everything are kind of tight so I can't imagine what it would be like during peak hours. They do, however, have a lot of different options and the usual items. Not bad, but also not the worst.

Whether you have a Tooth H or a Tummy H, you can find something to make you feel better here at H Mart. It's expensive, yes, and it's smaller than most H Marts because it's in the very centre of downtown Seattle's core, but how awesome is it to have an H Mart right here. We come here whenever we're strolling around inner Seattle, and we have lots of good things to say about it. Anyway I have to go, I have a Head H.

I would not come to this location before closing -- got one of the worst service ever at this particular location here in Seattle. I came with my friends to shop for a few convenience items, including ramen, Ramune, and more. While I did appreciate the variety of items that they did have, the service was really what threw me off and made me hot headed. First off, I have an absolute right to walk through the rows buying groceries 25 minutes before y'all close your doors... so that to me is non-negotiable. You also do not give me and my friends bitch faces and tell us to "buy our items and get out of the store" just because you want to close the store early due to lack of people in the store. There is a close time FOR A REASON -- if you were such a good communicator, PLEASE state that on your paper announcement IF YOU ARE GOING TO CLOSE EARLY LOL. In addition, we were intimidated by the security officer who was standing either by the inside of the store, or by the escalators. That made me and my friends feel absolutely threatened and we did not appreciate it at all. I wish there was a 0-star option, but 2 will do for now as I don't recommend staying there for long. Absolutely horrible service but awesome options -- even their hot convenience lunches where it.

it's a cramped store but that's probably because there's sooo much to choose from. This store has a lot to offer, including hot food and good customer service.

I think this is the third underground grocery store I've been to? But who keeps track of that ahaha We saw this place on the way to Pike Place, and decided to stop by to grab drinks before returning to the hotel. Take the escalator or elevator down to the lower level. Street parking only. There are a couple of garages nearby. Since this is a mini H-Mart, keep expectations low if you're a suburbanite. No Paris Baguette or Tous les Jours here. Not enough space for meat counters or live seafood tanks. They stick to the basics: produce, grab-and-go prepared meals, drinks, instant noodles, snacks, packaged proteins, frozen food, condiments, side dishes, and limited kitchenware items. Which is good enough for city dwellers who live within walking distance. Maybe it's all you need. It's slightly better than H Mart Manhattan. That one had cramped aisles, pricier items (understandably), and no soju. Seattle has (relatively) reasonable prices and there's enough room to navigate a shopping cart. No bakery or food court here unfortunately. By the way, H Mart locations in the Pacific Northwest (https://www.hmartus.com) operate separately from the main H Mart brand most people are familiar with (https://www.hmart.com). So their rewards system (H-point) is not compatible with the Smart Rewards card.

This is a smaller H Mart located in Downtown Seattle on Pine St, just a few steps from the nearby Pike Place Market. I was staying nearby and came in here for some snacks. I checked out the other aisles and saw that even though it was a smaller store, they still had a very good selection. They even have a section near the entrance with prepared food and banchan. Prices were also very reasonable. I'll definitely continue to stop in here for snacks and stuff in my future trips to Seattle.

This Hmart is a short walk from Pike Place Market. Stopped by to grab a few items before going on a cruise. You have to take the escalator down and they have bunch of items similar to other Hmarts.

Consider me a fan. I had heard many times about H Mart, but I had never seen one in person until I went to Seattle. My best friend lives downtown and this was so conveniently placed near his place. They have everything there. Produce, meat, frozen foods, spices, and a whole lot of Asian snacks. Oh, and even gifts like teapot sets and booze. What's not to like? Not to mention that they're following COVID-19 protocol heavily, so you feel safe. I mean, the place is pristine pretty much.

May be I am missing something but I am not able to gauge how this store has such high ratings. I went there today for the first time for grocery shopping and do not plan to return again. So many items in their store had fungus infestation. They had placed fungus infested papaya wrapped in a paper and were selling it for 99cents. Why not throw it away? I paid $6 for three nectarines and they were completely wilted on the outside and black from the outside - ideally this is also Somethonf that they should thrown out given it's not consumable. I was charged $1.4 for two non organic bananas ( most stores have them for 25 cents each). Most of their vegetables were not fresh and I couldn't pick anything except for May be a small packet of green beans. Everything including the quality of the groceries, pricing, and selection was bad May be this place is not a grocery shopping place and their other items are better. But I didn't try the other aisles. My review is primarily for the grocery section.

Location is convenient for trips to pike place, but otherwise it's way overpriced and sometimes the produce has mold.

This location does not have its own parking area. I guess available parking would be street parking or garage parking since this H Mart is located a block from Pike Place Market.

I looked up Paju before in South Lake Union nearby my hotel, and was excited to try it. Ended up finding a partner in crime anyway, and headed over close to closing time. Place is dark and modern, although I appreciate the wood oven being front and center. Owner was a little awkward given the timing, however she warmed up to us pretty quick when she said she was going to be in/out as we promised, and did appreciate the food itself. Got the sesame negroni, which was a unique and untraditional way to approach this cocktail. The sesame made it very different, and it remained as strong as I liked. The bugak (almost like a Korean taco with oxtail) was awesome. They were kind of just 2 bites of food each, however what was there exploded with flavor. I could've eaten 5 of these. NY strip was just ok. Didn't get any dry aged flavor from it at all. Not enough seasoning either. Bachan with it--brussel sprouts, kimchi--were tasty though, and the Paju fried rice was awesome. I wish they could put some beef/fish with that and call it a day. One of my favorite fried rice preparation I've had, but hey, I'm a sucker for squid ink. Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Seattle. Next time would sub the steak for the seafood jeon or branzino, however really nice meal otherwise. Compared favorably to other elevated Asian cuisine I've had (Joule in Seattle, Goosefeather in Tarrytown NY, Danji in NYC).

We were greeted warmly by our host, Steven, and seated earlier than our reservation. He and his colleagues was attentive and hospitable through the meal. The steak tartare was excellent with the sweetness of Asian pear paired with the earthiness of beef. The black cod sauce was addicting and balanced between sweet and savory, and the cod was flaky. The hanger steak ssam was blended at the table and had great richness and body with the beef. The sharpness from the cod sauce helped even out the buttery rice. The ginger crème brûlée was unique. The crème delivered the ginger in a bold, but not overpowering way. The caramel sauce and ice cream cooperated with all the flavor. Not too sweet It has been a long time since experiencing an "elevated" Asian meal as corny as it sounds. If you're into internet memes, then the charge is having a succulent Korean meal. Possible improvements: standard size plates instead of tapas style small plates (though I understand heir intent was for family style sharing). Additional table linen or plates to place your utensils because a small plate can't hold a fork, spoon, and chopsticks while you take portions from the main dishes. Conjoined to the paramount hotel, not sure what the parking situation is like since we arrived via light rail. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.
