Love this Trader Joe's location! Free parking (a total win ) plus it's surrounded by fun shops, restaurants, and even ice cream spots--so it feels like a mini outing every time I come. The store itself is clean, well stocked, and the staff is always super friendly. Grocery run + treats nearby = perfect combo!

It's been a year since I've been doing my shopping here, and I have to say, I'm impressed! The store layout makes sense, the staff are cheerful and friendly, and they have lots of yummy groceries at a price that works for me. Amid COVID-19 response these last few weeks, they have done a great job for their customers by leading safety standards for stores. I'm especially grateful to their staff who continue to show up and be pleasant! The store has also stayed open (thank you!), sanitized carts, limited the number of folks inside and organized a queue outside, made hand sanitizer and wipes available, ensured spacing at check out line, and kept the shelves stocked. Easily one of my preferred grocery shopping experiences since being in Seattle!

We love Trader Joe's and this one is no exception! People are friendly and generally treat us well! Beware, though, because if you accidentally spill your coffee sample, they WILL make you clean it up; staff members MIGHT get you the paper towels, but the onus is on you to ensure the space is clean and clear of debris. One employee offered to being a "floor is wet" sign over", but that's about it. Products are great, as an TJs fan will tell you! Samples and seasonal offerings are very much autumnal, now, with pumpkin and squash everything!

    So...guess what I like!

The staff is always friendly and outgoing. I enjoy finding new tasty items at Trader Joe's and the prices seem reasonable.

Their organic produce selection is much more diverse now and I'm guaranteed to always leave with something I haven't tried before.

The options at this grocery store is overwhelming but it's kind of a treat also. There is lots of merchandise that you can't get at any run of the mill grocery store. This grocery store is mainly tuned into Asian shoppers and so you get a lot of merchandise that you don't see in just any everyday place. I heard coming here you can get all kinds of different flavors of Kit Kats and indeed I did find a lot of different ones. I purchased a flavor though that I haven't tried before which made it fun. It was a dark chocolate Kit Kat. But what I unexpectedly found was different Pocky flavors also. The sweet tasting pretzel stick I have had plenty of times with chocolate and strawberry flavors but I found one with fruit (mango) chunks that was a part of the flavor. It was good! Perhaps not my favorite but I'm glad I got to try something new! In addition to that there is something similar to Pocky called Pretz. This is a more savory version of Pocky. I found a toasted sugar flavor which I never came across before and that was good too! So it definitely was a hit coming back again. In addition to the grocery store itself at this location there is a connecting bookstore and a food court. So you could definitely spend a considerable amount of time here! I enjoy the bookstore but haven't tried the food court so that will be yet another visit for another time.

I remember the first time I went there in the early 1990s when I first moved to Seattle. I was blown away by the variety and how clean it was. Now, there are a lot more Asian grocery stores to shop at, but Waji's is still one of the cleanest and brightest places to shop at. Kudos to them for always trying to improve themselves. On a recent visit, my hubs and I got a bunch of green teas (sencha, kukicha, hojicha) and some sesame oil. They have a decent selection of green teas and we're happy they carry the Sugimoto Tea brand which is based in Seattle. I love the super cute Kinokuniya bookstore attached to the grocery store too. It's chock full of books, journals, calendars, stationery, kawaii stuff! Worth a visit just on its own. We wish their hot and prepared foods were better. One time we got a katsu bento plate that was just tasteless and terrible. The spam musubi wasn't even very good. Sigh. Wish their cookies, treats, baked goods section was better too. Taking one star off for all that but otherwise, still a pleasant place to shop at and there's a big parking lot with validation (up to 2 hours with a $20 or more purchase).
