Flowers
Alberto J. V.

I regularly buy flowers from Safe Way, however, is the last time I buy this bouquet. It goes from a bouquet of six (6) flowers to a bouquet of three (3), and I said ok...I buy two bouquets, and then they just reduced it to only two (2) flowers. For the same price. I know economy is affecting everyone, but this is cheap.

I didn't purchase any food items today. The service was good, but it was a self-check lane. The ambiance is a grocery market environment. I like that this Safeway location has a gas station.

I asked a manager why one set of doors is locked and explained that having MS makes it difficult to walk when I just want to go to the deli and that's it. This inept individual said because of covid...covid covid covid. Pretty pathetic,I think.

The line for register takes for ever. 2 register are working during afternoon which make the line so long.

This is the worst Safeway in the world. Only 2 checkers there at the check stands. The self check outs suck. I won't shop here ever again

Ah it is consistently busy no matter what time of day. You always have to wait. It is not like that everywhere.

I have been in line forever. Now I get to go by all the vagrant beggars with a cart full of food and feel guilty.

It warms my heart to see young families gathering on the weekends, students stopping in for a snack, older people having their morning coffee and newspaper, and workers grabbing a quick lunch. I especially love their Dole whip and fried chicken for a fun snack! This Market is also involved in a lot of the local events and efforts to strengthen the community and draw in business to the area, so you'll see them participating in dragon themed art competitions, the annual dragon egg hunt, and other cool events. As others have noted, parking can be tricky and limited. But the local park and ride is one building over, as are lots of neighborhood street parking, and some private lot parking within walking distance.

Shopping in Burien, Washington…read more.. This location of Trader Joe's was relatively close to my high school classmate's home, so I stopped by quickly to take a look beforeIhad to meet up with her. I was so happy to see that the peach-colored AND turquoise-colored mini insulated coolers were available (at the entrance)! They're really handy as my niece has been using them to bring her leftover dinner to work for lunch the next day! She said that these mini coolers are a good size! I got some for her father, sister, and mother! Inside, this Trader Joe's was clean, spacious, organized, and well-lit. I got some snacks, greeting cards, and some yellow nectarines! I started looking for the store mascot and asked the cashier if these plushies were the ones. I showed her a photo on my phone, spotted the correct mascot, and took a photo when a female worker approached me and told me that "no photos were allowed in the store". I thought that she was joking until I looked at her facial expression. She was serious. Shucks. Oh, well... it's over. We got our prize (a lollipop) and took a photo outside of the store. We still went back the next day for more snacks and greeting cards because I had a bit more space in my luggage... LOL!

We almost never have this issue when buying directly from farmers' markets, so I'm convinced there's something wrong with how they store and handle their produce. Other reviews mention the same thing. They also replaced locally grown cilantro with cilantro grown in Mexico, without any note or explanation. Getting fresh, locally sourced food is literally the only reason we order from them. We had an order that was supposed to be delivered on Thanksgiving morning (that's what it said on their newsletter), but it arrived on Friday instead. When we contacted customer service, they gave defensive response that three minutes after we placed the order, the system updated to the "correct" delivery date, even though their newsletter said they don't deliver on that date. The response didn't actually address the lack of clarity about the delivery date. They even once included a slip of paper with someone else's name, phone number, and address. We're done with this place.

This company makes me so happy. I talk about them constantly so people think I work there. (Maybe…read moreone day! A girl can dream!)
