The parking is tight for navigation, though there tends to be open spot(s) depending on when one comes. Inside the store is clean and sections straightforward to shop. Workers have been nice in my experience and we have found some really great/useful items. Growing up, we used the pharmacy for prescriptions, but ended up transferring across the street to QFC due to shorter wait times. However, we have used the Rite Aid pharmacy a few times after the switch when it carries what we need and might be faster than QFC. On occasion, it is also the closest option to the house to carry a given prescription for the medical ailment we did not see coming.

The customer ahead of me had a large number of groceries that she was bagging herself while Zakia stood by, looking pretty. I had a single quart of eggnog. While I was tapping my credit card, Zakia picked up my wallet and phone from the ledge next to the credit card machine and tried to hand them to the customer still bagging her groceries. I objected, of course. That wasn't all Zakia did. She said to me, "You're good to go." I started to leave before realizing that my egg nog was still sitting, out of reach, to Zakia's right on the conveyor belt. She did not hand me the receipt. Instead, she placed it face down on top of a messy pile of coupons. I could not have exited the store without showing my receipt to the security guard. Even if today was Zakia's first day of work, I will never understand how she can think It was appropriate to touch, much less pick up and hand off, another person's extremely sensitive and valuable personal property. The thing to do is to SPEAK and ask the customer bagging her groceries if the wallet and phone belonged to her. I also would have preferred to wait while Zakia did her job and bagged those groceries herself.

Told me my prescription can't be filled today and to maybe think to call before showing up. Now, I get that people have bad days, and the customers before me were trash so I can at least understand. But today I called, and I'm not sure if it's the same lady, but they answered the phone to immediate hold without saying anything. Then, when I asked if the medication had arrived today I got the same attitude as the day before. I'm just trying to get the help I need. This place is dog-water and I won't go to this pharmacy again. Pure trash. I've worked plenty of customer service in my time, and I know it's possible to keep it together with a customer for a couple minutes -especially when they're being patient, polite, and cooperative- even if the previous customers were horrible. Also, I've never made a review of anything in my life. This will be the first time I've felt strongly enough to do something like this. Doesn't cost anything to be a decent human being. It looks sort of barren on the outside but once you walk inside you realize how far back the building stretches because you can see the entire office in the back. We looked around while we were there and were surprised to see bath products, gift cards, Pure Encapsulations supplements, and a host of other things you might find at a pharmacy. It's no Pharmaca, but it's good to know that if we were ever in the market for cards, limited supplements, or compounded pet (and human) meds, they are close to home. Yes! They compound pet meds. And they have a sweet display at the front of the store with pictures of pets that people emailed them thanking them for their service. Worth a stop if you need these kinds of items/services.

Parts of the shelving areas were empty, merchandise had been consolidated to shelving closer to the front of the store. One bin in particular caught my attention, it held an assortment of protein bars that were nearing their expiration dates (the ones I got were August/September 2025). The price tag communicated they were marked down, with a price of $0.99 each, as the expiration date was close. I grabbed six and made my way to check-out. The cashier was friendly, payment went quickly, and my total was less than $6. I was happy with my experience.

I got to speak to one manager a few weeks back and he said that they only order products once a week and get one delivery. This is a terrible business practice. I'm a manager in another business and am responsible for product ordering, and to keep shelves full you need multiple orders per week. It's just bad business and whoever implemented this new rule needs to be talked to. How are you supposed to have a business with almost no products on the shelves? Either fix the ordering issues or shut up shop and let a business in there who knows how to do things.

When attempting to fill my own life-sustaining insulin prescription, the pharmacy failed at multiple levels: they submitted incorrect prescriptions, miscommunicated with my insurance, and sent prior authorization requests to the wrong doctors. When an insulin prescription was denied under my plan, they informed me that the cost would be $1,941.99-- for a single month's supply. (see the photo) Rather than taking responsibility, they deflected blame onto the doctor and the insurance company. While both may share some responsibility, the reality is that I was left without insulin for days. The system is fundamentally broken. The pharmacists appeared to be doing their best, but if they are understaffed or overwhelmed, CVS must address these operational failures to ensure patients receive proper care. I stood in the pharmacy, staring at the medication I needed, but was forced to leave empty-handed. What was I supposed to do--go home and skip meals? Risk severe complications? Die waiting? This isn't an isolated incident. As a Type 1 diabetic, I have endured this same struggle every few years, and after a decade of systemic failures, I will no longer remain silent. The sadness and rage I feel for the non-medical person who is trying to navigate this rigged obstacle course is heart-breaking.

When I finally got the appointment made, my husband received a phone call to inform him that our insurance wouldn't cover the vaccination. The phone rep started off the call by asking him to confirm his birthdate, without explaining who she was or why she was calling. He had to ask her who she was and why she was asking for this data. When informed that the cost would be $245, he cancelled. I decided to call the pharmacy to make sure my vaccination was covered. The phone system had no option to speak directly to a pharmacy tech... only options to review my appointment and to ask for a call back. After multiple response options, I was finally able to confirm the price for my vaccination. Apparently I wasn't covered either, but I wasn't called with this info. I cancelled my appointment online because I couldn't get through to speak with an actual person.
