I get several meds here- couple for my blood pressure and one called suboxone, which is for opioid addiction (it's been a staple medication that has kept me stable, sober, and a contributing member of society since 2008). I have had bad experiences from other pharmacies in the past regarding this medication due to the stigma associated with it. Like, just plain rudeness and inappropriate comments from the staff. I haven't had that here and I am glad to have this place as my pharmacy! So, yeah, thanks. From one healthcare worker to another, I appreciate your hard work in these times when we are short staffed.

Got there at 7:30pm (30 minutes before the 8:00pm close on Friday 4/22). Waited behind one person that already had been waiting at the counter impatiently (must have been there a while already). While I was there, it took them over 30 minutes get to her (we were their only two customers) , so I ultimately reach the counter 2 minutes after the 8:00 closing time. Without saying a word, the assistant walked to the other side of the counter and started wiping down the CC machine. After I stood at the counter for a while waiting, the assistant looked up at me and said curtly "you know we are closed". No, I didn't... I could see the difference. Then I started to laugh to myself about how bad these same two have become at this location. This was all too familiar....yup.....I saw it on one of Carol Burnett's skits (and I think Candid Camera). Ultimately, I didn't leave the counter and the Pharmacist had to finally come over to get rid of me. I was checked out in under 60 seconds, thank you. A regular Pharmacy could have found 60 seconds someplace in the 30+ minutes of doing what appeared to be nothing (and with no other customers around) ....but like I said....I've been coming here a long time so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Two Pharmacy employees, two total customers, no phone or computer activity with a half hour of time seeming to be doing not much, not exactly overload conditions. Will say, the memory and the later laughing about it all, almost made it worthwhile. If it wasn't for the convenient proximity and GoodRX prices, it wouldn't be worth the laughs. Can't wait for the next episode there.

On multiple occasions, my wife has experienced similar issues with these individuals. When we attempted to address our concerns, they dismissed our feedback and maintained an unprofessional demeanor. During our conversations, they frequently interrupted me, preventing me from articulating my thoughts. When I inquired about their lack of courtesy, they responded by scrutinizing my complaints rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue. Safeway has reached out to me in response to my reviews but they have to many other unhappy customers and the staff is still treating customers like they are a inconvenience and less than. I believe it is important for all customers to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I hope that this feedback can lead to improvements in how customers are treated in the future. No matter how stressful or busy it gets in the pharmacy, he always has a smile on his face and is very pleasant. He makes sure everything has been taken care of before the customer leaves and always tells them to have a great day or some similar goodbye. He really deserves a raise because I will continue to get my prescriptions there because of him. Great customer service is very hard to find anymore. I cannot say enough good things about Northwest Pharmaceuticals Compounding Pharmacy…read more No matter what your pharmacy needs are - you should use these folks... but for folks like my wife who need special treatment, they're a God send. My wife has MCAS, which makes finding medications she can tolerate incredibly challenging. Even very small amounts of fillers, sweeteners, flavors, dyes, or unnecessary additives can cause reactions for her. She often needs prescriptions compounded with the absolute minimum number of ingredients possible, and not every pharmacy understands how critical that is. Mike, the owner, truly gets it. I've been the one working most directly with the pharmacy, and I am genuinely so grateful for the care and attention Mike has shown us. From day one, he has treated my wife's case with seriousness, patience, and real compassion. He has worked closely with her doctors to make sure each medication is compounded exactly the way she needs it, stripped down to the simplest formulations possible. Whenever something needs adjusting, he takes the time to talk it through and problem solve with us. What really sets him apart is how far he is willing to go for his patients. There have been times when our schedule or her health made it difficult to pick up prescriptions during regular hours, and Mike has been willing to meet me at the pharmacy on Sunday mornings when they are formally closed just to make sure my bride had what she needed. That level of dedication is rare. Living with complex medical issues can be overwhelming, but having a pharmacist who treats you like a person and not just a prescription number makes all the difference. My wife is definitely a special case with complicated needs, and Mike has consistently bent over backwards to make it work. We are incredibly thankful to have found him. This lovely female dog has a condition called Wilson's Disease, and the person who was elected to send me her compounded medication from Oregon was late in doing so. I made several calls to various Compounding Pharmacies in my area, and found only one who could compound the prescription the dog needed. Mike worked patiently and graciously with the pet's vet in Oregon and myself on a very busy Saturday to create the necessary dosage for this animal. Needless to say, Poppy the dog had her next scheduled dosage right on time thanks to this wonderful Pharmacy owner.

The scale of this pharmacy is the same as any other inside a grocery store, small but also tidy and neat off to one side. At this location, there is a large bin to deposit unwanted medications. There's also an automatic blood pressure measurement device. They do flu shots too. I typically find they are not too busy with short wait, so that's a plus. Parking is easy, underneath the store.

James did a lot of research, called us in advance to let us know about which vaccines were recommended, and others that he would or would not recommend based on our personal health and conditions in the countries that we will be visiting. When we met with James, he sat with us for over an hour, giving us our information, medications, suggestions, and making sure that he answered all of our questions. He is caring, personable, and has a nice sense of humor. I would highly recommend using this service if you will be traveling out of the country.

They're very polite and always professional to me. They fill medications I can't get mailed to me or that I want to pickup right away. I am very thankful to have them nearby my home. They are helping to get my health back on track. The only thing I can say that would improve is the removal of the cardboard endcaps with various non-pharmacy related stuff which are acting as crowd chokepoints. "You probably took all your meds of 90 day supply in 30 of your heart medicine" "You're crazy! We don't want you hear! Go away! You are crazy! Loud & ghetto! We think you lost it!" I was baffled at the comments which are all recorded on my phone via audio as they were yelling at us gaslighting us, telling us we are "crazy in the head" the overweight brown haired white young woman then proceeded to tell me I'm fat & look at u!" When I tell u I was floored at this disrespectful mouth the both of them had all because they have a old none accurate medication on file they claim I took to much of!!!??? My daughter has several different prescriptions on file that are all active i recently moved back in the area this week, I use a few other Safeway pharmacy locations due to hardship & transportation issues! My son & I were so confused so we're a few witnesses who were watching while hearing them berate us for 10 minutes straight on camera!!!!!!!! They finally admitted they could fill it however said I have no refills, we show proof of the refills then they screamed at my son and I saying "fine then pay cash then!" I said huh?! Screaming my mom's information all through the back of store causing a seen breaking HIPPA law" the store manager looks and says "is that a threat? You're gonna tell on me" directly intimidating my minor son all while not backing the customer at all! The tech with the terrible nasty mouth refuses to give me her name & the pharmacist yelled behind her I'm not giving you my name either!! Then I was told by the tech "I will call the cops & u will not like that! Don't want to be like recent people in the news" I am a person of color, specifically a black woman! Her saying that and a customer hearing that really made me sick! We all know what she's referring to! It has been national news! This was terrible! I am filling a lawsuit against her & the store corporation, the direct store manager, the pharmacy, pharmacist, & the two techs! You as a store manager didn't even listen to the customer!
