Very nice little pharmacy. They have some fun local craft tchotchkes as well as toys. I appreciate the personal attention we get there.

I love that this store carries all my "drugstore" needs. Like today I was searching for a hot water bottle (every 30-something woman needs one, right?) and every other place I went did not carry them. I go to Walgreens and of course, they stock them! Walgreens, keeping the old lady in all of us satisfied! The real reason this store gets 5 stars from me is because they always have Russell Stover Coconut Clusters. I love those chocolates in an unholy way. I don't even care that they charge $5 for a tiny box of them, they are just like little discs of ecstasy in my mouth. I like the location of this store because it's on Woodinville-Duvall road, so every time I go to Woodinville I pass it. Thus, every time I go to Woodinville I end up getting a box of coconut clusters. Thus, every time I go to Woodinville I gain a pound. The staff are all very friendly and the prices aren't terrible. The only weird thing about this store is occasional methheads ruining merchandise. Example: today I also bought some steel wool sponges for my cast iron pans. I didn't check the packaging that close in the store but when I came home I noticed it was torn open already in a not obvious way. A chunk of the steel wool was either ripped or cut off, a habit I know crack/meth addicts do because they need a filter to smoke their drugs. In NY, they keep steel wool often behind the cash register for this reason, to keep drug addicts from ruining/stealing it. Such a sad world we live in. It's not really Walgreens fault, I should have inspected the package before I bought it. It was mildly annoying. I still love Walgreens and their ability to keep me fat by always stocking those yummy coconut clusters.

But my favorite thing about this walgreens are the folks working the pharmacy. Very kind, friendly, and quick service. Pharmacy will call often to remind to pick up medication. As someone with ADHD, it is so, so, helpful to have reminders from the pharmacy. I imagine that these reminders are also helpful to those who may be suffering from dementia, or just those who are busy/forgetful in general. All in all, a great walgreens and a great pharmacy!

Much better than other locations in town, for sure. Unfortunately, I had a pretty rude experience recently and I feel its worth mentioning as I now agree with the review below that mentioned "It depends on who you talk to". I didn't get the name, but she sounded like an older lady and she was simply unnecessarily rude when I inquired about getting a Covid 19 test. At this point in time, I do realize that Covid 19 tests are de-prioritized quite a bit. If you wanna be vaxxed, you are vaxxed, the mandates are lifted, cases are down, etc. But just the same, my son has symptoms and a fever and so I called around to figure out where to get a test. Naturally, I called my "go-to" place to do this and was first told to go to the website to schedule the appointment. Okay, no problem! So I do that, and there was no options to do so. I clicked on "today" and it said there was no available appointments. So I then clicked on future days and it wouldnt even let me click on them. So I called back and asked what I am doing wrong, because while I understand appointments may be filled up for a couple of days, the inability to make ANY appointment for ANY point in time for the entire month was confusing. I was told, shortly, that "We do not do tests on weekends", and I responded with, "Yes, I understand that, but..." and was interrupted for the woman to say "I WILL JUST LOOK AT THE SITE" in a huff. So I tried to continue with what I was saying, "Yes, I understand you don't make appointments on weekends, but I can't click anything for the entire month of April..." and she snaps back at me with a "LOOK, I CAN'T ANSWER ANYTHING UNTIL I LOOK AT THE WEBSITE MYSELF". Lady? Are you having a bad day? Because literally all I am trying to do is take care of my kid and get him a test. I don't need your rudeness and I don't need to be snapped at for asking basic questions. 3 months ago there was all the resources we needed in order to get a test and now they are all gone because apparently everyone has put Covid 19 in their rear view. Try to be more patient with people who just have simple questions to ask. And if you cant handle it, let someone else answer the phone. "Alex", who I spoke to first, was significantly nicer than you. I hung up on you because I do not have time to be spoken to like that. Happily, I was able to find a test site. If anyone else is curious and finding nothing but dead ends, simply go to Providence Monroe. They will get you in for a test with no BS, no website seemingly created in 1996, and no appointments. Just walk in. I will think twice before coming back to Pharm-a-Sav.

In the back of the store is an old school soda fountain diner. Like Woolworths used to have when I was a small child. It took me back to being a kid and asking grandma to buy me a sundae or a bag of Fritos with a scoop of chili in it. All I wanted to do was look at the menu so I walked over and opened one up at the counter. As I was perusing an older gentleman told me about the Saturday special. Burger and fries for $4.75, $4.95 if you want cheese on it. His arrived as we were talking and it looked so good we decided to stay. I'm glad we did! We both had cheeseburgers. I never have onion on mine, it's too sharp of a flavor and takes away from the burger. Bun was lightly toasted, plenty of smatterings but not too much. The beef was grilled on a flat top and had a nice crispiness to it but still juicy. It's a thinner pattie but was plenty for the sandwich. You get a couple of leaves of lettuce and a thick tomato. It made me think of a Dick's deluxe if it wasn't mass produced. We had lunch at Lunchbox laboratory the day before and I have to tell you I liked this better! The fries were to die for! They are thinner like McDonald's fries but come unsalted. Which I liked because I'm an adult and can decide how much salt I want. Beautiful crispy fries served piping got. So darn good! The whole meal was perfection in a plastic basket. We really struck gold by chance and we are so happy for it. Definitely coming back!

The next day, I received a message that my prescription was ready. It was after I showed up that I learned, unfortunately, the price had gone up from 70-something to 111, out of pocket cost for me. I would have expected to be notified of this before committing to it or even making the long drive. I didn't appreciate the ambush. I spoke to the pharmacist who was kind and apologetic, who explained that they weren't able to procure the one they quoted me due to market availability issues. To me, however, the disconnect was that I was not informed and given a choice ahead of time. I felt boxed in and didn't want to create a bigger morass so I went ahead and reluctantly purchased it. I still don't know who the culprit was, which is why I feel compelled to follow up with this review. The pharmacist agreed that it was a learning opportunity. I would have liked the person who did it to personally 'fess up for her unilateral decision-making. Also, while I was in there, and luckily sitting far away, a couple came in and the woman was hacking her lungs out. The woman then left while the man conducted his business. It's common knowledge that immune compromised and ill and healing people are forced to conduct their business at pharmacies, and the protocol should be (posted) that coughing/contagious people stay out unless absolutely necessary and then WEAR A MASK. That is common sense and should be proactive policy for any pharmacy or medically-related facility to protect their vulnerable customers. I mean, COVID should have taught us all something, after all! I highly urge all pharmacies to post a reminder for entitled or ignorant people up so they don't rudely inflict their condition upon others needlessly. And no, I don't expect perfection. I'm not perfect either. But accountability and proactivity go a long way!
