He did some shopping, came back about 30 minutes later, still not ready. I received a text later that night that it was ready but only half of the prescribed amount was available and that they had to order the rest. I was told they would order it and it would take a week or so. They said we could pick up the half the amount or wait but either way, that amount was set aside for us. Fast forward to today, 12/30/24. Called at 10:00AM and confirmed that the medication was ready for pickup. Nope! Still only have half. They did not place the order yet for the other half, but stated that they could do so if I wanted them to? Definitely want them to, which is why I asked them to 2 weeks ago. My husband dropped off our dog's prescription for Simparica Trio on his lunch today 12/30/24 at noon. Got a text at 12:34PM that it was ready for pickup. Husband went to pick it up at 5PM after work, pharmacist states that it's not ready for pick up and that it's gonna be a bit for them to fill it. He asks to pick up the half our cat's prescription that we were told was ready and the pharmacist states that "these flea meds don't last long on the shelves" and we have to wait until Friday for a new shipment to come in. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a medication is filled for a patient it should be labeled and set aside for them, correct? Not given away to another customer. Especially if a customer is informed that the medication is ready for pickup. Will absolutely not be using this pharmacy again unless some excellent customer service comes from this review. $286 worth of purchase definitely deserves better customer service than this. Our time has been thoroughly wasted and our cat is behind on prevention now.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Carlos A., Pharmacy Technician, Costco Woodinville Pharmacy location. I asked him to check on the availability of a medication. After determining that the medication was not in stock, he insisted on checking availability at the warehouse to see if it could be brought in on a shipment by tomorrow. Carlos A. exemplifies the wonderful customer service that I've come to expect at Woodinville Costco pharmacy. I get several meds here- couple for my blood pressure and one called suboxone, which is for opioid addiction (it's been a staple medication that has kept me stable, sober, and a contributing member of society since 2008). I have had bad experiences from other pharmacies in the past regarding this medication due to the stigma associated with it. Like, just plain rudeness and inappropriate comments from the staff. I haven't had that here and I am glad to have this place as my pharmacy! So, yeah, thanks. Got there at 7:30pm (30 minutes before the 8:00pm close on Friday 4/22). Waited behind one person that already had been waiting at the counter impatiently (must have been there a while already). While I was there, it took them over 30 minutes get to her (we were their only two customers) , so I ultimately reach the counter 2 minutes after the 8:00 closing time. Without saying a word, the assistant walked to the other side of the counter and started wiping down the CC machine. After I stood at the counter for a while waiting, the assistant looked up at me and said curtly "you know we are closed". No, I didn't... I could see the difference. Then I started to laugh to myself about how bad these same two have become at this location. This was all too familiar....yup.....I saw it on one of Carol Burnett's skits (and I think Candid Camera). Ultimately, I didn't leave the counter and the Pharmacist had to finally come over to get rid of me. I was checked out in under 60 seconds, thank you. A regular Pharmacy could have found 60 seconds someplace in the 30+ minutes of doing what appeared to be nothing (and with no other customers around) ....but like I said....I've been coming here a long time so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Two Pharmacy employees, two total customers, no phone or computer activity with a half hour of time seeming to be doing not much, not exactly overload conditions. Will say, the memory and the later laughing about it all, almost made it worthwhile. If it wasn't for the convenient proximity and GoodRX prices, it wouldn't be worth the laughs. On multiple occasions, my wife has experienced similar issues with these individuals. When we attempted to address our concerns, they dismissed our feedback and maintained an unprofessional demeanor. During our conversations, they frequently interrupted me, preventing me from articulating my thoughts. When I inquired about their lack of courtesy, they responded by scrutinizing my complaints rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue. Safeway has reached out to me in response to my reviews but they have to many other unhappy customers and the staff is still treating customers like they are a inconvenience and less than. I believe it is important for all customers to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I hope that this feedback can lead to improvements in how customers are treated in the future. They're very polite and always professional to me. They fill medications I can't get mailed to me or that I want to pickup right away. I am very thankful to have them nearby my home. They are helping to get my health back on track. The only thing I can say that would improve is the removal of the cardboard endcaps with various non-pharmacy related stuff which are acting as crowd chokepoints. "You probably took all your meds of 90 day supply in 30 of your heart medicine" "You're crazy! We don't want you hear! Go away! You are crazy! Loud & ghetto! We think you lost it!" I was baffled at the comments which are all recorded on my phone via audio as they were yelling at us gaslighting us, telling us we are "crazy in the head" the overweight brown haired white young woman then proceeded to tell me I'm fat & look at u!" When I tell u I was floored at this disrespectful mouth the both of them had all because they have a old none accurate medication on file they claim I took to much of!!!??? My daughter has several different prescriptions on file that are all active i recently moved back in the area this week, I use a few other Safeway pharmacy locations due to hardship & transportation issues! Screaming my mom's information all through the back of store causing a seen breaking HIPPA law" the store manager looks and says "is that a threat? You're gonna tell on me" directly intimidating my minor son all while not backing the customer at all! The tech with the terrible nasty mouth refuses to give me her name & the pharmacist yelled behind her I'm not giving you my name either!! Then I was told by the tech "I will call the cops & u will not like that! Don't want to be like recent people in the news" I am a person of color, specifically a black woman! Her saying that and a customer hearing that really made me sick! We all know what she's referring to! It has been national news! This was terrible! I am filling a lawsuit against her & the store corporation, the direct store manager, the pharmacy, pharmacist, & the two techs! You as a store manager didn't even listen to the customer! The scale of this pharmacy is the same as any other inside a grocery store, small but also tidy and neat off to one side. At this location, there is a large bin to deposit unwanted medications. There's also an automatic blood pressure measurement device. They do flu shots too. I typically find they are not too busy with short wait, so that's a plus. Parking is easy, underneath the store.

James did a lot of research, called us in advance to let us know about which vaccines were recommended, and others that he would or would not recommend based on our personal health and conditions in the countries that we will be visiting. When we met with James, he sat with us for over an hour, giving us our information, medications, suggestions, and making sure that he answered all of our questions. He is caring, personable, and has a nice sense of humor. I would highly recommend using this service if you will be traveling out of the country.
