Terrible store One of the long waist high meat refrigerators was set on defrost and was not keeping anything cold! The meat packages were all room temperature. I called over the employee there and he had no idea what I was saying because he spoke zero English! I had to use my basic high school Spanish and said No frio! No frio! Many people review supermarkets when something goes wrong. I want to post my review for something that goes good. First, they kept working when many were at home. Second, I have always found staff to be helpful and nice at the check out. This time everybody was extra sweet. My kid was dancing and even they started dancing. Customer Service staff was very nice, friendly, helpful, and fast! There's always somebody to chat and also to guide you to the right isle. I like their products and the fact that they carry the big egg tray nowadays! I get they are changing their layout to attract more people to their clothing section. Marketing. I think they towel and kitchen section doesn't fit the "same as Target's" layout. Pick up is great! Fast and always helpful. Plenty of parking and clean facilities. read more

It's Walmart. A huge monopoly store that sells everything you thought you'd need and more! In the area for an event and needed to buy a few items. Don't judge, (you peeps who refuse to shop at a Walmart, I hear your disappointment in me), but you can't deny the deals here. Hugely affordable prices for everything. Pretty much. I got in and out fairly easily here. Happy to report without much hassle. Got what I needed and skedaddled out fast. Friendly people and huge parking lot, probably won't be here again but you never know what life brings. If I am ever driving by or in a road trip this way, I will to stock up on road trip essentials. The produce section in the monroe, wa walmart is absolutely disgusting. We observed multiple and very obviously moldy and bruised pears with fruit flies everywhere. We saw moldy apples, nectarines, and severely brown bananas. We will never buy produce from this location ever again, and we do not recommend it to anyone. read more

Poor customer service. Usually it is not too bad but today I had to wait a while to get something from Walmart's many unnecessarily locked racks. Like 20 minutes which was fine. But then I had the run around from staff to find where my item was to check out when I was done shopping. As I was airing my frustration to the customer service lady she walked away as I was mid sentence. It was pretty weird and rude. I think that was my tipping point. They have cheap prices, self checkout, a huge selection of stuff from a million different categories - food, clothes, sporting goods, automobile stuff, garden stuff, kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, pet stuff, baby stuff, home decorations, electronics... Here Is My Husband story: As My Husband handed the cashier at Walmart his ID, as at the time My Husband was buying alcohol. His hands shook as he handed his ID to the Cashier. And let it be known he shakes form (PARKINSON DISEASE,) At this point the Cashier assumed just because that my Husband was buying alcohol that something else was going to causing my Husbands shaky hands. The cashier had to make notice of my Husband's Shakey hands, and then (said Oh you're quit shaky.) This was so wrong in many ways. This is one of the better Walmarts you will find. The store is clean, modern, and well stocked. There isn't an obnoxious amount of merchandise behind locked cabinets (although a few select items like razor blades and tooth whiteners remain locked). My main beef - they don't take returns after 8pm and there's nothing on the website or at the store's entrance to indicate this. I wasted an hour's worth of driving to come up here only to be turned away at 8:10pm. read more

My main issue with this store is, why are they banning plastic bags? Statewide, all stores are providing plastic bags at 10 cent per bag, but this one claims, there is still a statewide ban on plastic bags. They want people to purchase their $1 bags, this is nothing but stealing from customers. Recentlly I was at the self checkout and after scanning my items, it is asking me, how many bags? This is a great Walmart. It is huge. The store is tidy, well stocked and clean. Football fans have lots of team memorabilia choose from. The craft section was not just one tiny row. My family was collecting ideas and supplies for a wedding ( reception, floral items, ribbons, party favors). I have never seen a giant fake Clydesdale horse in a Walmart until now. The area is safe. We had a truck full of items that was left untouched in the back. Windows were rolled down and no one bothered our items. I'm used to locking the car when I pump gas in DC. Bonus points for a neatly arranged/fully stocked school supply display. read more

Try A Little Love 1..employees not enforcing masks... they would have to hire four times as many employees to walk around playing police making people put on their masks if people are going to rebel not put on their mass there's nothing they can do about that all they can do is tell them to put their masks on and required for the store but they don't have enough employees to follow people around writing people tickets for not wearing their mask that's a stupid complaint if you don't like it because people aren't wearing their mask don't shop there anymore... I see hundreds and thousands of people on a weekly basis in different stores and places not wearing masks I don't walk up to them and give them any hell about it and I most certainly don't expect the employees to play Johnny law and make them put on their masks 2.... This place is pretty good. I love it that we have a larger supercenter in the area. Their prices and selection are great. My feedback has to do with the staff that I interact with when I visit the store. I come here to pick up specific items from the bakery. Sometimes I ask staff for help if I can't find them. No matter what location I'm at, the bakery staff are rarely able or willing to assist in checking stock for these items. The other day, a staff person seemed like she was really on the ball and was using her mobile phone to look up inventory and let me know they didn't have what I was looking for. I even came back and asked her when their trucks delivered these items so I could time my visits when they had them in stock. She let me know that trucks come every day, but the items they deliver are unpredictable. I prepared to leave empty-handed. However, I circled back to get a loaf of bread and found they had a HUGE supply of croissants just a few steps away from where I was asking staff for assistance and they said they had none. This was frustrating to be told they had none and I just about left without any, only to find they did have them! (Also, this was my only reason for making the trip to the store that day.) The staff in their deli is okay. I wish they had a bell or buzzer so you could get their attention. I can't tell you how many times I've stood there and waited and no one showed up. You just have to hope that at some point they'll come out of the back and see you waiting. Once they appear, they are very kind and helpful. I really like the staff who pick up items for Walmart+ deliveries and pick up. I've run into some super sweet and helpful employees who do this job. They know where absolutely everything is and can quickly point you in the right direction. They typically are the ones who go above and beyond to help out even though it's not even their job to assist shoppers in the store. For the most part, I can assist myself and find it fun to come here and look around - especially when I can find the items that I came here to buy. read more

I had over 4000 photos printed through Walmart. When I got them back all the pictures were zoomed in on. Went 8n and talked to the photo center and also a manager and was told sorry there is nothing we can do for you and that how the pictures come off your device is exactly how they print them.. pretty sure just didn't cut my kids heads off in their back to school pictures.. I would highly recommend everyone to avoid going through them unless you want headless pictures of your kids or loved ones. read more

I went to purchase a fire arm and the employee at the sporting goods counter was awesome his name is Lonnie he did everything in his power to help me but the employee named Sarah ( supposed to be a coach) refused to give me the time of day. She wouldn't even come down to the sporting goods to help me or here own employee. She would send a different employee who did not have clearance to do anything with firearms. And to make a long story short. After 2.5 hours I finally gave up and told Lonnie he was awesome. read more

After reading the other reviews I see I'm not the only person that thought this store was a crazy mess! Disorganized is a gross understatement! I've had more bad experiences with the employees then good. I've shopped primarily for groceries and was really shocked they don't carry the essentials and same items the other Walmart stores have. When I asked customer service about the items they don't have it was like a huge inconvenience. They wrote down the items...and four months later nothing has changed. So last time I was there I ran in to grab a few things and literally 45 minutes later came out with one bag. It took that long for customer service to find the request form and write down three products (again) and that they still don't carry. I bought some mushrooms and they were all moldy when I opened them a day or two later. Had to throw those out. Also bought some fresh herbs. I was a bit reluctant because they didn't look that great. Well they got moldy and had to be thrown out a week before the printed expiration date. These items that I've requested are nothing crazy...just every day items that all the stores in the vicinity carry. -7up products -Chorizo (El Mexicano brand) -Black Licorice (Red Vines brand) They have a terrible selection of 7up products. The other stores have a way better variety. Chorizo is pretty straight forward too. We have a really large Mexican population and I'm sure they're wondering what's up with that too. They only carry one brand and type of chorizo, and it's a $5+ package that not many people are looking for. I posted a pic of the popular chorizo most people are looking for, and it's $1.20 vs. $5 plus. No one will spend the extra money for that. Red Vines. They don't carry the small package of both red and black Red Vines. They have grape and another random flavor, and Twizzler(sp?) brand. Super basic stuff!! I was at Fred Meyer last week because they actually carry all the items I'm looking for and the prices seem to be better there too. I was talking to the manager about Walmart and asked if their presence was hurting their business. He said initially they did, but in the long run no, they aren't. Think that speaks volumes! After all, the other stores fought Walmart and held up the store going in because they thought it was going to really hurt their businesses. well love how full and clean this store is, its pretty new, and the closest Walmart to us. we have a big family, BUT each time we go their employees all over the store, but never never enough to check you out, I do not like the self checkouts, I want a human being at a register, We go here a couple times a week, you need friendlier cashiers and more of them the few that are working take customers out of turn and are not smiling or seem happy to have US the Customers there at all, and well, we are their paycheck, retrain them and get a friendlier crew, AND FOR GOD SAKE GET MORE REGISTERS OPEN DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! read more

I havent been to this Walmart in over a year because of horrible service. I decided today to do one hour photo. I placed my order on line at 2:55 PM and arrive at the store at 4:10 PM. When I arrive I am told that no one printed the photo and neither employee knows how to do so. They called for a manager and so far it is going on 20 min still no manager. I feel bad for the guy behind the counter but I cant help think he has been drinking his rock star since it is clearly sitting on the counter. It is now 4:26PM no manager no pictures. Now they are on the phone with the photo company to see why since 9AM they havent printed a picture. How do you go that many hours and not know there is a printing issue. read more

This place is seriously a joke!!! I was in the alcohol isle with no one there to help. I went to talk to the boy that was in dairy to help me! He told me he couldn't and didn't have a walkie talkie to radio anyone to help me. I replied to him so I'm suppose to figure it out myself he said yeah I don't know. I have been a Walmart customer for many years, first in Arizona when they opened in Prescott. I moved back up to Washington in 2011. Walmart opened in Monroe, WA in 2015, I began shopping at Walmart again for my weekly groceries. Last week I was not allowed to shop there. I have documentation from my Doctor that I cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition, wearing a mask would be hazardous to my health. I do believe that classifies as an exception, other stores I visit are accepting of me not wearing a mask which I am grateful for. I will no longer shop at Walmart, ever. It appears Walmart misunderstands the exceptions. I offered to show the documentation, the woman refusing me service was rude and uniformed. This is a really weak Wal-mart. I have only been in 3 times, but each time has been fairly unpleasant. Some of these things aren't really things the workers can change, I suppose, so I am speaking mostly on a corporate level here, but some of them are DEFINITELY the fault of the workers themselves and they simply need more training. 1) It started out decently, but whoever organizes their shelves has let it turn into K-mart levels of disorganization. Just look at the toy section, for example. It's just random things placed about and tossed onto the floor. They need to hire someone who organizes those shelves and keep up with it as a daily task. Because it has really de-evolved since they opened and it is embarrassing. 2) The produce is absolutely disgusting. I will admit that I am a little picky with my produce, but the potatoes are all wrinkly and moldy. Who would find that acceptable? Who would take that food home and cook it for their kids? How can someone who works there WALK PAST THAT and say "Yeah...this is good enough". That's pure laziness and bad management. 3) This one isn't so much the fault of the workers, but seriously...no hand-baskets? If I want to just grab 5 items, I really need to push this giant shopping cart around? Come on. 4) The self check out is complete bedlam if there is more than 2 people. Instead of the system they have at Fred Meyer where the guy just has a little doo-hicky that he carries around to make approvals, this poor girl had to manually walk to each terminal to approve things. So when 5 people are all buying things that require these approvals, the screens just lock up and she has to go over to them, push buttons (slowly) and then help another customer. Meanwhile, you have guys trying to pay for things are her cashiering station as well. It's just a total bottleneck and incredible disorganized. A self checkout is supposed to be FASTER. It's supposed to eliminate the need for checkers. Get the doo-hickys, Walmart. Fred Meyer clearly has no problems with this, why do you? 5) Finally...the prices. Honestly? Not that great. I thought that Wal-mart was supposed to be "Discount City!" and that's why people put up with so much BS from them. Fred Meyer's prices are basically better, plus they have the fuel points which save a LOT of money. In conclusion, I see nothing at Walmart that I can't get at Fred Meyer. Been here numerous times and some of these other reviews with produce/food items make me glad I have never had to shop here for these items, so I wouldn't know in all honesty. I am looking at the complaints about employees and how disorganized this walmart is. All Walmarts in general have a terrible policy with employees! So they are really not motivated to be there. You are better off working at Mcdonalds, if that says anything. I would think the turnover for employees at any Walmart is high. If you find a happy employee at any walmart, they are probably either on bipolar meds, or they are new and not broken in yet. Items at this walmart seem to be consistent at least where they are placed in the store. Once I find what I need, I remember where it is for the next time. Love it or hate it, it's a Walmart people. What is it with ZOMBIE LAND?! I have been to all the Walmart in North end and they are all the same. The employees are friggin out of there gords! Good luck if you want to know where an item is, prepare to be sent in 3 different directions! Where do they find these people? Don't they make $15 an hour now? I made less than $4 an hour my first job and I worked my tail off! These people walk around like they just got jacked up by Invasion if the Body Snatchers!!
