My windshield repair order started on 10/29/24 for my Lincoln Corsair. The tech responded to my to do the install a few days later. I had to leave before he completed the job but gave him my credit card anyway. He texted me later to let me know he had completed the job and everything was fine. However, the next day, I noticed the plastic molding on the interior, attached to the windows was not attached properly. To boot, I noticed a smudge (finger print) marks on the interior side of the window on the upholstery. I immediately called the tech on his cell and he told me I would need to contact the office to reschedule a follow up. I called and was told a tech would respond back quickly. Two days later the same tech responded back. The first words he said to me were, "I don't know why they sent me back, I couldn't fix it the last time." WOW. The tech spent another hour and then gave up. He told me someone would come out with the right parts. Then the ghosting began.... A few days later, after I had left a message through a remote call center, a manager called and said they needed to order new/correct parts. To date, I have received no follow-up about fixing the damage to my car. The local Safelite seems to hide behind telephone voice prompts, being placed on hold for a long period of time, and then being directed to a remote call center. When I requested to speak with the manager or get a name, I was told they could only forward my message to the office and wait for a response. I have used Safelite for many years with satisfaction, but this was the first time I have been treated so unprofessionally and with an apathetic attitude. I wish I had read some of the most recent one-star reviews beforehand. I will not be returning,

I would think twice before using this location. I had a very frustrating experience with this company after they replaced my windshield with the wrong one. Despite informing them of the error immediately upon inspecting my windshield, they continued to lie and provide unhelpful service instead of addressing the issue. It took me three weeks of my own research photos and phone calls with my insurance and Safelite customer care not even the shop because they have no follow through, just to get my correct replacement done at the dealership. I highly advise anyone considering this company to verify they are receiving the correct parts beforehand. Unfortunately, the customer service was lacking, particularly from their receptionist Jasmine and manager Gus, who were both extremely rude and dismissive. They have not followed up or provided any proper customer service throughout this ordeal. I was informed 2 weeks ago Friday that Safelite was notified they installed the wrong windshield after an independent inspection was done by my insurance company, though my insurance company does use Safelite to do their glass installations, a claims adjuster with AAA confirmed everything I had sent them regarding this claim was correct that Safelite installed the wrong glass. The glass they put on my car was for a four-door Honda Civic model and I have a five. Not using a VIN verification process is very dangerous as a windshield is a structural part. They don't buy their glass directly from Honda. Their technicians and manger were spreading false information and saying that the window numbers on the windshield are dealer codes which they're not they come from the manufacturer, not the dealership and they represent the properties of the windshield. There's a serious lack of training that's going on at that location and I feel like they should be informed, you can't just call and order a windshield based on looking at a car deciding what it is you need to use the VIN, ordering glass from NAG vs a Honda dealership when authorized to do so is lazy and greedy. If it's happen to me I am sure it's happened before and with their poor customer service I am sure it's been brushed off and not properly addressed when called out on any discrepancies. Think twice before using this location. Also, you can tell from the response that whoever wrote that didn't personally deal with me or this situation because as shown on my repair order, it was original glass installed on my car by Safelite just the wrong glass for my car as they didn't use the vin even tho it was approved original glass, and I stated above this location, put the wrong glass in my car.

While driving on 52 heading home last week I heard a loud pop above my drivers head. When I got home, inspecting the roof glass the front driver corner was severally cracked. I immediately when to the Safelite business that replaced my front windshield. They removed my front car rack to do so. The guy behind the desk tried to state that it was a poor Tesla design. Even though I have never had a problem with the roof racks nor the roof glass, I went to the Tesla Service dept in Kearney Mesa. They inspected my damaged roof glass and stated that the Safelite folks did not install the front roof rack properly after replacing my windshield. The Tesla tech also stated the both sides of the roof rack were not installed properly. I went back to the Greenfield Safelite and talked to the manager behind the desk. His response what that they had no liability with my roof racks nor the improper installation. I stated that his crew took it off and put it on during the original windshield replacement. He once again stated that they had no liability and would not discuss any consideration of warranty due to poor workmanship. So now, we are stuck with a $1,733.50, for the top roof glass, estimated repair bill due to their poor workmanship. Let alone taking the responsibility of standing behind their work. I am highly unsatisfied with the lack of support from the Greenfield Safelite representatives. I would not recommend them to anyone at this point. I should have seen the low yelp score at the beginning. My bad. Hopefully others will not make the same mistake.

headliner with marks from improper tools to pry it off

Got windshield replaced on my Model 3 yesterday and 20 hours later just now noticing the headliner is all messed up from their installation. Headliner has "pry marks" on it from using improper tools and bent the headliner. They did not even return the headliner back to place. Honestly if they did not leave the headliner hanging, I would not have noticed the marks. Just something to keep an eye out for. Customer service is more than fair. Installation service is poor and would not recommend.
