I then just asked to have it put in the cheapest location right next to the panel and that was $1200. When I sent them away, they called back and said they could do $700. The second electrician I called quoted me $298 and did a timely and excellent job. Captain Electric also tried to upwell me on adding new panels making changes to electric panel inside the house which had nothing to do with the hot tub and I said "no".
