We had unfortunate flooding in our second floor laundry room that bled down between the walls of two floors into the basement. We contacted Boss about restoration, and have been honestly astonished at what a great experience we had with them, given the nature of the disaster that connected us (ha!). Boss provided exceptional thorough service in order to mitigate any possibility of mold brewing in our home due to the water damage, but at the same time, they really tried to be as non-invasive as possible, too. I think they balanced this tightrope perfectly. We found them to be prompt, communicative, flexible with my schedule, and patient waiting for payment when the invoice got buried in my notifications. They really stood out to us in their industry! We will definitely recommend Boss to anyone we have the opportunity to, and if we run into another disaster, they'll be the first company we call. I would not really recommend boss company they are scammers. They told me they were going to put a pee treatment on my carpet because I have 2 dogs. But didn't see no change. They told me it might not work but the pee they put it all over the carpet while it was only one spot. I can't believe it. There is a $85 minimum so at the end of cleaning my downstair carpet stairs he proceeded to get my payment. I asked how much I had used of the minimum and he would not tell me without asking several more times. After learning I had more than $10 left I asked him to clean more things even if it went over in price and I would have to pay more. He acted like he could barley speak english and basically wouldn't clean anything more. I have my carpets cleaned a few times per year and every other place put a dryer on the carpet for a few minutes at least. This company did not do this and I was left to air dry it myself. I didn't like this aspect and along with the other issues I will not be using this carpet cleaning company again. read more

Boss Systems was brought in by our property manager to repair our apartment after a neighbor started a flood. The damage occurred one month ago and we still are not back in the apartment. They were quick to accomplish the necessary tear up of damaged flooring and walls (including the removal of our blinds so that all could see in), but weeks have gone by (where we have gone to check every day) and they have not accomplished basic tasks or simply not worked at all to actually put things back together. Finally one day on week 3 they had 4-5 people in the apartment stepping on each other trying to finish what they quoted would be done much earlier. Additionally, on several check-ins we found evidence they had gone beyond the designated work areas to parts of the apartment where no work was required and where we had moved furniture and other valuables. On one occasion we even found that the front door had been left unlocked for an extended period of time with nobody inside. On a recent walkthrough with our property manager, we discovered evidence that Boss Systems thought using our bathtub as a paint receptacle was a good idea. There was paint splattered over multiple areas: all over the shower and tub, the shower curtain and liner, bath mat, cabinet, door, our trashcans, several coats, and a bookshelf--all in areas where no painting was needed. Have you tried to get hardened latex paint off of anything? Once it's on fabric it's impossible. Anything strong enough to remove the paint eats at the fabric and removes the fabric dye. What about wood laminate furniture? Same thing. Paint remover eats away the laminate. Boss Systems also cracked our living room lamp, stained and scratched one of our dressers, and used our trash cans and trash bags for construction/paint debris. Several other items from the living room and kitchen areas are still unaccounted for, meaning they were either taken (which we would really like to believe is not the case) or carelessly tossed out during the tear-up process. None of this damage was ever reported by them to either us nor our property manager. Perhaps they were hoping we wouldn't notice or they were simply oblivious to the damage they caused. The total bill for their damage is at $961 and counting, not to say anything of the extended time their delays have kept us out of our home. read more

We have new carpet in our basement and the carpet company would only recommend Boss Systems for their carpets so that's who we started using 6 years ago. We've always had great service with Boss Systems. We have 24-year-old carpet on our main level and we ask them to bring an agitator (an extra charge) and it keeps the carpets looking so nice, we keep postponing replacing them. Their employees are professional and great to work with. We've had a few weird clean-ups, odd party stains, etc, and they've managed to figure them out and clean them up. We love Boss! read more

Okay, I'm cheap. My living room carpet is about 30 years old and I didn't want to spend my remodel budget new carpets. I set an appointment with Boss Systems after getting a raving recommendation for them from a neighbor. And that's in spite of a previous poor review on Yelp. Calling them was one of my BEST decisions, ever! Jeremy Randall, one of their top technicians, did a thorough inspection on the condition of my carpets, gave his honest, no-pressure but expert recommendations, and then got to work. Crazy to say, but these 30-year old carpets look new again! Jeremy and his crew were meticulous, courteous, and thorough. The results FAR exceeded my expectations! My only regret is not getting before and after photos...because no one will believe these carpets aren't new! read more

Though I can't say how they did with the carpet, I can review everything leading up to the cleaning. I initially scheduled them to come on a Tuesday but had to reschedule for the next day, so I called their office and they rescheduled the appointment for me, no problem. Unfortunately, they forgot to change the schedule so I had cleaners on Tuesday trying to find my house, I had to tell them I rescheduled for Wednesday and they said that was fine. All of this was understandable. The Wednesday appointment was set for sometime between 11am-1pm but they didn't get there until 2pm since they were running late. That was inconvenient but understandable I guess. I paid their minimum amount of $75 (I only had two small rooms to clean) and asked the cleaner if he could lock up once he was done and that was that. In conclusion, they seem friendly but definitely not perfect. read more
