I have a home warranty and found out they no longer had a contracted company in Utah, so they let me find an out of network company to work with. At Your Service was more than accommodating in jumping through the documentation to ensure our system repair would be covered and reimbursed. Our home warranty liked working with them too! That said, our technician Jeremy was super timely, and thorough. He spent the time diagnosing and found a couple of issues that required the motor and blower needing to be replaced. Hired a competitor to come inspect my A/C. The competitor told me I needed a new HVAC system and quoted me $11k for the system and install. Called several other companies including At Your Service Pros to get a bid. At Your Service Pros was the best company across the board. The inspector found several things that other companies didn't even notice (e.g. the air return vent had no duct connected to return the air from the vent to the system). I'm from Hawaii. We have no idea what furnaces do. Haha. We just moved here in July and adjusted to the scorching summer heat. Then we bought a house in early December and the first weekend we had the keys in hand, the furnace broke! I was alone, right after the 2nd snowstorm of the season, and it broke the next morning. I didn't know who to call! I went on Yelp and found the most local company I could find, with the shortest response time, and the highest stars. I was so scared bc the temperature was dropping quickly. It was 50 degrees in the house and it was getting late. I called At Your Service Pros and they answered immediately. I explained what I thought could have been happening with my heat and the gentleman walked me thru some simple troubleshooting. I was so scared bc I was so unfamiliar with all of this furnace business, but he was patient and helpful. He sent one of his techs out and they arrived about an hour later. They were professional, kind, and empathetic. They made some suggestions which mirrored the advice we got from our home inspector. The whole furnace needed to be replaced. We knew it would need replacing eventually, but not the FIRST weekend we moved in! He made some suggestions and told us we could contact their business for a free quote to replace it. Our home warranty - did NOT help. That is another story for another day. We decided to fork out the money to get it replaced after they gave us a reasonable quote. The installation was scheduled 2 days later and they offered to give us space heaters if we needed it. We didn't need to use it after the initial temporary fix the first tech made. The installation took all day. They had to work around some design issues so it took a little longer than they thought it would. After they were done we paid by check. We were in a bind and spoke with the owners about payment options and they were so flexible. We greatly appreciate all this company did for us. Can't find a better company! Our elderly parents on hospice in their home had the AC go out at on Sunday morning at 10am, and already 90 degrees outside. Both parents on oxygen and needing 24/7 care, so very sensitive to temperature. I made the call to At Your Service and explained the situation. We had the unfortunate experience of having our 23 year old AC finally poop out on us during a hot June. We looked around for a good company and ended up calling AYSP to come take a look at it. Jeremy showed up soon after and unfortunately let us know that our AC had had a good long life. We ended up getting a few quotes from these guys as well as various companies but ultimately went with AYSP. We went with them not only because their price and product was the best we found, but because the salesman we talked to, Clint, was so responsive to all my texts and knowledgeable about anything we had questions on despite not yet knowing if we were going to work with these guys or not. The install date was promptly scheduled after we made our decision. There were a few hiccups with the specific product we were going for but Clint communicated everything with us and made it a very stress free process. On install day, the guys who came were very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Logan took time to thoroughly answer all our questions and address any concerns. I gave a 5 Star rating on the business website which I believe they earned although after thinking about the service and talking it over with my wife I would give a lower rating for the for the following reason. We were looking to have our furnace/heat exchanger and AC units tuned up. I greeted the technician upon arrival and he immediately went to work in the attic on the heat exchanger. He spent about an hour there I assumed servicing the heat exchanger. He attached a couple diagnostic clamps to the coolant lines coming from the AC unit which relays information to an app on his phone. He said the unit lacked maintenance and was dirty so he set the fan speed down. Apparently cleaning is not part of the tune-up service. As he reviewed the service notes with me he told me that the cleaning and refrigerant adjustment (removal) would be an additional $621 and recommended buying the service plan...another $240/year. I realize now that the low cost "Tune-up" is just a window to add "up-sale" services not covered. My advice to others would be to make sure you understand what is included in a tune-up so you know what to expect. I will say however the technician was polite and professional during the time he spent on site. read more
