Forever will be here every two weeks! Like this is where my paycheck is going willingly every two weeks! My absolute favorite place other than my Korean grandmas this is true authentic Korean food! Service is always amazing shout out to Kush who will be seeing us every time and cooked our meat exactly how we wanted it. I can't stop thinking about how good the meat is here. I got 1 order of the beef brisket and when it's charred it's perfection! Unlike many kbbq places, this one the servers grill the meat for you which I love since that's how it is in Korea. The enterance is still hard to find but once you're inside you get seated pretty quickly. Service is always great and it's just a really nice restaurant inside. This place is good. Checks most of the boxes. Fast service, good quality meats (except the brisket was way overly fat), and kbbq vibes from Korea. It's just overly pricey and the quantity for what you pay for lacks. The sets are actually pretty precise so there isn't much waste but I left still hungry and $100 lighter. Ari's (across the street) meat sets give you an additional cut of meat, more quantity and better sides including eggs and cheese corn. The sides here are very good and tastes clean though again with the exception of the salad. You get two types of salad here. One is seasoned and the other, hardly seasoned at all and just sliced lettuce. Again giving it to Ari because their salads are seasoned perfectly similar to what I've had in Korea. It's worth going here and I'd recommend a try since the chef is famous (maybe not so much as of recently) but I wouldn't choose this again over Ari. read more

First walking in, I knew I would enjoy the round table concept! Even a bonus that the waiter will cook the meet for you. I would say tho have 5 people at the table gets a little tight but nonetheless there was room for all. I always enjoy coming to Saemaeul, their meats are top quality and service is excellent. I do not enjoy cooking my own meat at Korean bbq, which is why I tend to go to the ones that are not all you can eat. I never understood the fascination of cooking the meat yourself at the table. Having someone else cook in front of you though is a different story. The server is very attentive and will cook the meats perfectly that you can just sit and relax! If you are coming here with a small group, the small combo is plenty of meat, as you will get full. The large is a lot of meat, sometimes too much. I usually split the small between me and my husband and that's already too much for us. Definitely getting a good amount of food for the price. My recommendation is to try the skirt steak, as it is probably the most delicious cut for Korean bbq. So buttery and smooth. Don't forget the soup! Come early or make a reservation, this place fills up super fast! Theres a decent bit of parking behind the building. Was definitely anticipating the open of this location and it did not disappoint! Service was amazing - waiters were attentive and quick, and food was great. We had a big party and tried the pork combo and beef combo. Most of the pork was consistent throughout the meal but the beef was hit or miss (surprisingly) the short rib and steak were the best but the last two that were part of the combo were subpar for the pricing compared to the rest in our opinion Restaurant was crowded, but clean and plenty of space between the tables. We went on a Tuesday night, and it was very slow, so there really wasn't an excuse for the poor service. Our waitress seemed completely uninterested when I mentioned that the meat quality was not good--there was no effort to address it at all. The food overall was a letdown. Everything tasted dry, and even the soup--which I used to love--was off and didn't have the same flavor as before. Must say it was delicious, but something in it didn't agree with me, and I spent the entire evening vomiting. They're so short staffed the servers were are looking rushed and it's only 11am We ordered one of the meat combo and the meat were fresh!!! We ordered the pancake but it was mostly egg and onions. Saemaeul was one of the best Korean BBQ spots I've been to in DFW. Which is high praise considering the sheer volume of Korean BBQ restaurants in the metroplex. Ambiance is modern, lively, but not too loud. Everything felt clean and metallic. The food was exceptionally good. The japchae was the best I've ever had. The marinated beef short rib was among the best I've had. The spicy bulgogi was unlike I've had anywhere else and was indeed spicy. The service really stood out. The wait staff were very kind to my friend's 5 year old daughter and attentive to her needs (which were not unreasonable). The only major improvement that could be made is to serve the meat using coals instead of gas. The food was excellent notwithstanding this "nice to have." I was visiting my friend in Dallas, I got to try this place. I heard that saemaeul restaurant going to open in Dallas. Saemaeul restaurant was my favorite restaurant when I lived in Korea. So excited try this place with friends. I would give this place 4star if I tried only spicy pork bulgogi and dosirak. But give 2star from other menu. We ordered combo set I didn't remember which combo set but it was came out pork belly and spicy pork bulgogi and marinade beef and some of beef. Also ordered 3 of dosirak, one of kimchi soup. In Korea saemaeul restaurant famous menu was spicy pork bulgogi and 7mins kimchi soup. I only can Recommend spicy pork bulgogi and dosirak. Anything else wasn't good taste. Few days later I went to back this place for spicy pork bulgogi and dosirak. I only ordered that second visit time because I didn't want to disappointed again. Little slow served from busy but waiter and waitresses was so kind. Specialty waiter shakes our dosirak, it was so fun and he had a bit joke. Little loud from drink Alcohol dinner time.
