Living in Vegas, I'm very familiar with Sadelle's and was super excited to try the Dallas location that my friend raved about. The restaurant did not disappoint. My only complaint was we had a reservation for 12pm and it took 20+ minutes for us to get seated, but the Manager came by and took care of us with a complimentary starter (the Tuna Tartare). It was AMAZING! All of the staff were very nice and the food was delicious as well. BEWARE - THE RIBEYE AT DINNER IS $220 AND IS BEYOND AVERAGE. They don't tell you that and we were shocked. Never have I seen a more overpriced ridiculous SCAM. The whole meal was just average. I loved the breakfast potatoes and the toasted coconut latte but I'd give the eggs Benedict 8/10 only because I wasn't the biggest fan of the bread used it tasted a little bit stale in my opinion. Bright and energetic atmosphere. We had a reservation at 2:30 PM on a Friday and this place was packed to the gills. Only in Dallas would you need a reservation for a late lunch! We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which was fine. - Pigs in a Blanket...old-school flavor and fun to order and eat - Blueberry Pancakes...light with a sweet crispness to them. - Triple Decker Sandwich...selected 2 meats and requested to add Swiss cheese. Apparently the kitchen doesn't welcome additions nor substitutions and they refused the request. They DID wind up adding the cheese after the refusal. - Waldorf Salad - nice presentation and fresh. Solid Russian dressing which appears to be made in-house. The waitstaff really shines here. The hostess really went above and beyond and our server was super friendly and efficient. This place may suffer at the hands of a rigid kitchen, though. I can understand not embracing wild substitutions, but requesting to add cheese to a sandwich isn't an outlandish ask. For a place as expensive as this, they should reconsider accommodating reasonable requests. read more

I cannot recommend anyone make a reservation at this restaurant. We made a reservation and placed a credit card as requested. On day of reservation my wife was sick. We cancelled through Resy as required and received a notice of cancellation. Perfect. Several days later received notice by our credit card that we were being charged a fee of $100 for our party of 2. For full disclosure when booking we did see "cancellation may trigger a fee". All well and good. Issue is there was no notice of time required to cancel which reputable establishments do upon making reservation. So if that's how revenue is generated for an establishment good luck. Be very aware and to date no response on our dispute from the corporate owner of this establishment. They own numerous. This place was really. If I'm not mistaken, I think this used to be a cafe/grocery store. But they've turned it into a really cute cafe/restaurant. The service was great. The host sat us promptly and was very friendly. Our server was still in training and he told us upfront but he was so helpful and so energetic. When he didn't know an answer to our question we pulled a more veteran server to come by and answer it. They were so friendly and so on top of the service. We went for breakfast. Initially I was worried bc I didn't see too many items on the menu. But once they broke it down it was easier to understand. My husband and I got the house salmon tower with everything bagel and chives and onion cream cheese spread. It was really good and cute. It came out on a tower with all of our toppings on the side. I've been here twice and both times have been substandard. The food is bland and not worth the price at all. Both times I've gone my food has been kind of tasteless and super greasy. The service is subpar, the waiter is always trying to get you to spend more money. There was also an awkward moment the second time I went when we got the text that our table was ready, so we went inside just to wait another 15 minutes in a tiny little space with other large groups. Overall seemed unorganized but they looked understaffed so it was not that serious. However, for a more expensive place, it does not deliver and I would not be back at my own discretion. read more

We wanted to try Sadelles primarily because we got an offer through In Kind App. I am so glad we did. We had an amazing server. His name was Kevin M and I highly recommend you request him. The ambience was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. I had an Aperol spritz every bit as good as ones I've had in Europe. An order of tacos as an appetizer. The Aperol spritz was made with very high-end Prosecco and was fantastic. We also had a white fish salad that came on a three tiered plate with tomatoes, cucumbers, and capers, and your choice of a delicious bagel toasted just perfectly. For our main course. To start off a great girls weekend, we had brunch at Sadelle's. After reading so many mixed reviews we all were a bit hesitant to try it but still went for it. Each of use ordered different items so that we are able to share and try the menu out. We had the skillet potatoes, blueberry pancakes, the French toast, and 2 different made to order omelets; 1 with egg whites and the other full egg. Everything was great!!! From our server to the food to our conversation, the whole atmosphere was pleasantly surprising like I stated earlier with all the mixed reviews. The portions are definitely shareable and the drinks were just as good. Afterwards we walked around because we were so full and continued our girls weekend. We made it to happy hour on a Friday and was able to get a table easily. The decoration is chic and elegant and the staff was friendly. We had the espresso martini and aperol spritz. Both were to our liking. The spritz was close to the ones we've had in Europe. Food wise, the oysters were interesting..they added champagne diced pickles on top, but it was overkill to the point where you could not taste the oysters. So I would not get those again. We also had their burger to share and this was a very good burger. Would I pay regular price for it? No way. However, it was very balanced between the buns, meat, and cheeses. Delicious. They also had fantastic fries to accompany the burger. We also had a small hiccup with the bill, but it was promptly fixed. It took 45 minutes for my friends to get a latte at our table and the menu shares that half of it cant be ordered till 11am which ends up being no issue at all for a 10am reservation because of how slow the service is. This morning i got to pick up some sadelle's from there cafe I absolutely love this place , not only is it adorable but the separate cafe and then dining area is genius. I got a "Large salted caramel iced, and an everything bagel with cream cheese" total was 12.99! honestly i love there stuff , you can never go wrong with any of the cafe or bakery items . seasonal coffees too! my bagel was a little burnt today but it was still great. they always load it up with cream cheese... the service is nice and fast as well. i went in at 8 and was out by 8:07 I would love to try there dining area one day but ill stick to the cafe before work ! Been here twice. Every time I enjoyed the food a lot. Tried different salads and the bagel tower. The bagel is perfect and house salmon is delicious. Price is on the higher end. The decor was beautiful. Blues and greens with playful dishes and cups made this a memorable and photographable experience. The breakfast options were limited, especially with a couple items unavailable when we dined. But the omelet was tasty, bagels were good, and the chive cream cheese was delicious. The breads seem to be where this place shines with fluffy bagels, toast, and pancakes. Saddles seems to put a lot of focus on plating and aesthetic, which you would expect at this price point. I really enjoyed the decor and lighting of this restaurant. It has super high ceilings and a lot of windows and natural light. The bright decor contrasts the typical dark wood of many other restaurants in the area. I came here for lunch and we both had the Cobb salad which was very large, very tasty and very filling. Service was attentive and our glasses were always full. The only complaint I have is that this it is pricey for what you get.
