What a perfect Easter brunch spot! Thanks to other Yelp reviews, I had heard the house salmon was more than enough to split- and they were correct. French fries were crispy and salty. The bagels were fluffy and delicious. Sadelle's gave an atmosphere of UES brunch without the flight. The service was friendly and prompt, which for brunch, is really the goal. I was so excited to see some frozen drink options besides rose and the John Daly did not disappoint. One of my favorite brunch/lunch restaurants in both Dallas & New York. Their quality remains the same amongst both restaurants. I was really impressed by the Dallas location and how good everything was. Service was incredible. Our waiter was so attentive and prepared everything to our liking. I had wanted my tuna melt a bit heat pressed like a panini and he made it happen! Going into this place i felt like an extra on Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was such a cute place! I think this is ideal for Mother's day, tea parties, getting cute with the girls or a nice brunch! All were excellent. My companion had the Tuna Melt, Fries, and a Margarita, opting for lunch. Nancy, our server was most attentive and made great suggestions for us first timers. It still tasted good but we ordered bagels which is something you can find at any other breakfast place. I think you'd mostly come here for the ambiance and to chat over some coffee. Love how cute this place and I love the location. However, I did not like that my potatoes were cold and that they had onion after I had said I was allergic. I completely understand it is a "strange allergy" as the waiter said, but I would have liked to be respected as I am actually allergic and I do swell up. The French toast is cooked perfectly where it is still custardy inside. At this location they overcook it always. Same thing with the omelettes here....they shouldn't have any brown on them which they do here. They also randomly substituted French fried onions instead of the caramelized onions in the omelette. I was excited to try Number 1 Steak at Sadelle's since it's a fun new twist for a place that's never really had much of a nightlife vibe. The bread came out first tasty, but a little cold. Here's where things went sideways: we were offered an upgrade from the $59 prix fixe steak to the porterhouse. We didn't ask the price (our mistake), but based on the top steakhouses in the area charging around $135-$140 for a porterhouse, we figured it would be maybe $30 more per person. When the bill came, the upgrade alone was an extra $125. For a steak that honestly wasn't even that good, it felt like a bait-and-switch. We paid the bill, but let the waiter know they should absolutely disclose upgrade pricing upfront. A little transparency would be nice. That being said, the vibe is fun and the concept is cool it just needs a little more honesty to match the energy. read more

We were seated inside next to a table that had a dog who was constantly barking begging his owner for bites of food. They did give us another plate of French toast but it took about 10-15 minutes to come out and the staff didn't seem that bothered by the grossness of the situation. It had the perfect kick and I loved all of the pickled veggies in it. (My mouth is watering just typing this). We also got the salmon bagel tower and it was everything that we wanted and more. I had heard about it from friends, and am so happy that we were able to indulge! The presentation is 10/10 and very Insta-worthy. They serve it with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, capers, and regular or chive cream cheese (pro tip: get both). We also split a side of potatoes and I got 2 over easy eggs. YUM! Had a very strange experience with the hostess staff here. My friend and I came in on a Friday morning. The restaurant wasn't really busy and there were a bunch of empty tables. However, the hostess informed us there would be a 45 minute wait! We were the only ones waiting. The hostesses just watched us stand there for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I asked how much longer and they said "well you started at 45 minutes and it's been 15 minutes so you have 30 minutes to go". We inquired about the tables that were empty and they said oh, they have reservations. So then, I had the idea to go onto OpenTable and make a reservation. Lo and behold, there were tons of reservations available right away. Then, I inquired with the hostess, "since there are reservations available online can you just seat us?" And they said "no you have to make the reservation on an open table and then we can seat you". So, I had to go onto OpenTable and enter my credit card number in, which took a while, but I did it, and then when I showed them the confirmation, they ended up seating us right away. In fact, they sat us in one of the tables they initially said were reserved. Anyway, our wait service and food was good. The vibes and overall atmosphere of Sadelles are unmatched. This is one of the cutest spots in all of DFW and they know it with their prices.
