Overtime the grout in our tile became dingy and difficult to clean from cooking, pets and kids. I tried different products and spent hours scrubbing, hiring a housekeeper, only for marginal improvement which didn't last very long. A friend advised that I reseal the tile. Not having the time or skill I looked for a contractor and found these guys. I could not be happier. After two hours my tile looks brand new and for a fair price. I could not have been more impressed with Matt and Chad's work!! They were amazing--very professional, hardworking, and patient (initially, I had a TON of questions)!! They were also quick to address any concerns! They cleaned all my floor tiles and grout (and then, resealed the grout). This included 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room, an entryway, and a hallway. Since I had not resealed the grout in 7 years, I was quite concerned that I may have permanently damaged the grout by not resealing it sooner; but Matt and Chad worked their "magic". I am so disappointed with Matt Pentacost and his company SacSurfacePro! I recently purchased a Woodside home in Roseville and was advised to have the granite counter tops and grout on the tile floors sealed. Matt was recommended and I called to schedule an appointment. The cost was $425 for the floors, $450 for the granite counters and $180 to seal the glass shower doors in the bathroom for a total of $1,055. He said these "labor-intensive chores can take hours" and estimated that the job would require 4 hours for a two-man team. Well, his two technicians showed up 25 minutes late and were finally ready to start the job 40 minutes after the scheduled time. I left to run an errand and expected to see them working when I returned. To my shock, I received a call from them 1 hour and 5 minutes after I left, stating that the job was completed. Really? How were they able to complete 4 hours of work in 65 minutes? The only evidence that they had been there was a strong chemical odor. I never saw them working and nothing looked different when I returned to the house. I reached out to Matt and stated that I wanted to be sure that the job had been done properly and he did not offer to come to the house to evaluate the work. He said he was "sorry I felt that way" when I expressed doubt that all that work was done so quickly. Furthermore, I was incredulous that it cost $1,055 for 65 minutes of manual labor. Also, when asked if the Piedrafina counters in the bathroom needed to be sealed his two technicians did not recognize the material and did not know if they needed sealing (apparently they do). I did not feel that Matt was conscientious or thorough as some of the other reviews stated. I just hope that the work was actually done and done properly in my home. read more

Matt showed up promptly and was very pleasant. I had scratches in my marble countertop from an orbital sander my contractor accidentally touched down on the marble, as well as some larger dull patches from when my fabricator had unsuccessfully tried to smooth out some scratches he had made. My husband and I bought a house that has two adjoining bathrooms with travertine stone floors and walls. The floors seem to have some ground-in dirt (we have not dared to scrub them vigorously) and there is some pitting on the floors and countertops. Matt was entirely willing to scrub and seal the floors. He was not willing to deal with the pits and argued they were natural, the tile all came that way. (Most of it is quite smooth.) My husband and I were going, "Really? Pitted areas in the shape of bare feet right in front of the sink and shower? And round areas on the counters right where people would put a bottle of face wash?" There was also an area with etching he clearly was not willing to deal with and a stained area near the bathtub where we think someone must have spilled hair dye. He acted like it was all too, too much trouble, a speculation confirmed when he refused even to give an estimate, implying we were just too, too picky. He also does not replace damaged tiles.
