Josh was referred to us by someone who had great vibes with him. In the flooring/construction world, it's tough to find a reliable, responsive & fair team to hire but look no more! Our floor was torn up in a hallway/master bath & master bedroom due to a flood. We were looking for someone to pull up floor from the spare bedroom and use the pieces to patch the remaining parts that were damaged due to a flood. He arrived and talked through our options with us and got back to us in a reasonable time to schedule & get to work. We had a quote from another floor guy but we really liked Josh & his quote was great so we were in. The work itself took about a day a half and the patchwork was seamless. He was able to reuse many of the floor pieces to fix the main areas and we are now off to get the remaining bedroom carpeted. We woulda went with him for this as well but that was outside of his scope. Nevertheless the job was done below budget and quickly might I add. He also fixed a linen cabinet that had been removed due to the water damage. He was meticulous and thorough in cutting and replacing the baseboards as well. We cannot recommend him highly enough. You will not find a better price for such high quality of work. Thank you, Josh's Flooring! read more

5 Stars - Above and Beyond Service! I am beyond impressed with Josh and the vinyl floor installation he did in my home! From the start, Josh was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. He was more than willing to work around my schedule and kids, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated that he allowed me to take on some tasks myself to save money, but still provided expert guidance and top-quality materials to ensure the remodel looked fantastic. When I decided to remodel other areas of my home, Josh was kind enough to return once I had completed those sections, making sure everything was done right and looking seamless. His consistent, professional communication and thoughtful responses to all of my questions made the entire process even better. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and personable professional to handle your flooring or remodeling needs, I can't recommend Josh highly enough. The end result was exactly what I hoped for, and I will definitely be reaching out for any future projects! read more

Outstanding Work by Josh's Flooring - Highly Recommended I had an excellent experience working with Josh's Flooring and wanted to share my appreciation for the professionalism and craftsmanship they brought to my project. After dealing with a challenging situation involving a prior flooring installation that had to be completely removed and corrected, Josh stepped in and handled the remediation with a level of expertise and care that immediately gave me confidence. From the initial evaluation through the final installation, everything was handled methodically and transparently. Josh has over 30 years of experience, and it shows. He took the time to properly assess the subfloor conditions, explain the options, and recommend the correct preparation and installation approach to ensure the new floor would perform properly long-term. There were no shortcuts, and the work was done to a standard that clearly reflects pride in the craft. A few things that really stood out: * Honest and knowledgeable guidance. Josh was straightforward about what was needed to fix the issues correctly and did not try to upsell unnecessary work. * Attention to detail. Subfloor preparation, layout, and finishing touches were all handled with care. * Clear communication. I always knew what the next step was and why it mattered. * Professional integrity. Josh stands behind his work and takes the long-term performance of the floor seriously. The final result looks fantastic and, more importantly, was installed correctly so I can have confidence in it for years to come. If you are looking for a flooring contractor who values quality workmanship, transparency, and doing the job right the first time, I would absolutely recommend Josh's Flooring. read more

Josh came to repair several dinged areas of our LVP flooring that was installed by someone else. By no means a large job for him, he fit us in quickly, did a fantastic job making those dings appear practically nonexistent and was more than fair with his price. Many Thanks Josh for your skill and professionalism! Aaron and Mel read more

A Talented Professional with Integrity. Josh does great work! The project cost and time estimate was clear and detailed - no surprises at the end of the job. He is trustworthy and reliable and does what is says he's going to do - no shortcuts. Josh installed SPC flooring throughout my entire house including closets and bathrooms. The leveling and prep done with great care, he fixed and adjusted closet doors, removed and returned the toilets (no extra charges for a plumber). The appliances and furniture were moved and then returned. Floor planks, trim and baseboards - perfect. Even behind the refrigerator, creatively cut to run under the water facet. NICE! The quality of Josh's flooring work is exceptional, I LOVE my new floors! THANK YOU Josh & Cris. read more

Josh did a GREAT job installing LVP flooring and baseboards in my studio! Seriously - just look how great they turned out. (I listed my house for sale recently, so I get to add professional photos of Josh's work.) It was clear from from the bid that Josh is a pro. He explained what needed to be done to ensure the bathroom was prepped correctly, which in hindsight, made sense - the toilet had leaked on and off the past few years, clearly because the floor was uneven. He corrected the uneven floor in the bathroom before install to ensure longevity of the new floor. Everything turned out great and he left the space clean. I would absolutely recommend Josh. read more

Josh's Flooring is a locally owned & operated business. This is a big plus as far as I'm concerned because it makes it easier to work with a person , not a company contact. Josh returned all calls in a timely manner. From our reaching out to him for an estimate , to materials needed & to set up work schedule. Josh is a pleasant , honest , reliable business man. He was up front that he takes a bit longer to complete jobs as he does almost all the work himself . He gave us an explanation of the different Flooring best suited for a kitchen. Also , gave us the name of several places we could go look at floor samples. Because of a situation he had no control over , the date we had for floor install had to be postponed a couple of weeks. Josh was in communication with us , we rescheduled . Josh was prompt in arriving . Because he had to reschedule our floor replacement , he brought along a very skilled helper to assist him & get the job finished faster. I was surprised & pleased that the old floor was ripped out floor prepped & new flooring installed same day. Great clean up of areas inside & out afterwards. I would highly recommend Josh to anyone looking to have a professional , experienced , detail oriented floor installer do the work for them. He is not the least expensive , nor was he the most expensive . He was the right choice for us & I'm sure he woukd be for you too. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this person. He gave an itemized estimate and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. (And that allowed us to save some money with DIY potions.) Josh worked our flooring project in to his busy schedule and got it done more quickly than we expected would be possible. He has an incredible attention to detail and pointed out little things that needed fixing around the house. Anytime even a minor decision came up about how to handle finishes, Josh checked in to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. The end result was stunning. We got solid hardwood flooring throughout the house and new baseboards. Everything is perfect. Highly recommend. read more

Josh installed approximately 1,800 sf of 3/4" engineered white oak flooring on an existing concrete slab in our older home. It was important to us that the person providing the cost estimate would be the person doing the work, which was the case with Josh. He coordinated with our tile installer to ensure our flooring transitions would be flush and even with one another. Josh was pleasant and easy to get along with, conscientious and customer focused, was a good communicator and followed through on all of his commitments. The quality of his work was excellent, and we are very happy with the end result. If we have another hardwood flooring project in the future, we would definitely ask Josh to do the work. My wife and I had Josh install LVP flooring throughout most of our home in December. From the outset, Josh was prompt in replying to calls, texts, and emails. His initial estimate was very competitive and accurate. Once the job started, Josh arrived and left when he said he would. He kept us informed throughout the process and was always happy to answer any questions we might have. Josh started our job 2 weeks before Christmas and got it done with almost a week to spare, while other installers who bid the job told us they'd be done sometime in "early 2019". Josh put in extra effort to make sure that we were able to put up a tree and have a happy holiday. The quality of his work was exceptional. He did the flooring and the baseboards, as well as all of the other stuff (e.g. resetting the toilet and appliances) that another installer told us we'd have to hire a plumber and an appliance company to hook back up for us. In short, Josh is a great find; he's trustworthy, reliable, and very good at his job. I won't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs flooring done. read more

We had Josh install LVP into our upstairs guest room back in March. Josh was very prompt in responses through both email and text. He gave us a great estimate compared to over 10 other companies that I looked into. After agreeing to work with him, he was able to complete the job 2 weeks later (he was working on another project at the time), and had our floor finished in just a day and a half! The floor looks absolutely amazing. Would recommend Josh for any flooring project, as he is professional, courteous, and does excellent work. read more

Josh replaced some old carpeting in our house with new cork flooring. He thoroughly explained the whole process, answered my questions, and was prompt in scheduling our floor replacement at a time that worked well for us. After completing our floor, Josh asked us how we liked the new floor. He only asked us to submit our payment after he made sure that we were really happy with the outcome. That's just one example of how Josh not only does great work but also focuses on having good communication with his customers. I could not be happier. Highly recommend! read more

We had Josh put hard wood flooring in our house about 10 years ago. When we recently decided to put new wood flooring and baseboards in our entire house, we called him again. Josh installed Marmoleum and cork in our old house 12 years ago, and he did such a solid job for us that we brought him back in to install new Marmoleum, cork and vinyl tile floors in our new house earlier this year. He is extremely careful and thorough in his work, and he regularly took the time to talk with us about various options and choices we could make. As just one example of the care he takes, in both houses, Josh followed taking out the old floors with an extensive process of leveling the subfloors prior to laying the new flooring. I can easily imagine a flooring installer minimizing or even skipping this laborious step (obviously, the original floors were installed without this leveling), but this leveling resulted in better appearance. Josh took similar care with baseboards, plumbing fixtures, stair treads, thresholds - everything he did. We feel very comfortable recommending Josh to anyone who wants the work done right. read more

I'm a General Contractor, I've used Josh for over 15 years to do my floors. I typically do high end residential remodels, and he always makes my clients happy. He as also done some commercial work for me and worked around crazy schedules. He is a one man team, so he is control of everything. Working with owner operated contractors is a lot different than working with large companies that have apprentices installing. He is a very talented carpenter, and always goes above and beyond on jobs. I highly recommend Josh for flooring, not to mention he can do the demolition of existing floors/trim, do your new floors, and install new baseboards/casings/trim. Give him a call! read more
