Josh was referred to us by someone who had great vibes with him. In the flooring/construction world, it's tough to find a reliable, responsive & fair team to hire but look no more! Our floor was torn up in a hallway/master bath & master bedroom due to a flood. We were looking for someone to pull up floor from the spare bedroom and use the pieces to patch the remaining parts that were damaged due to a flood. He arrived and talked through our options with us and got back to us in a reasonable time to schedule & get to work. We had a quote from another floor guy but we really liked Josh & his quote was great so we were in. The work itself took about a day a half and the patchwork was seamless. He was able to reuse many of the floor pieces to fix the main areas and we are now off to get the remaining bedroom carpeted. We woulda went with him for this as well but that was outside of his scope. Nevertheless the job was done below budget and quickly might I add. He also fixed a linen cabinet that had been removed due to the water damage. He was meticulous and thorough in cutting and replacing the baseboards as well. We cannot recommend him highly enough. (I listed my house for sale recently, so I get to add professional photos of Josh's work.) It was clear from from the bid that Josh is a pro. He explained what needed to be done to ensure the bathroom was prepped correctly, which in hindsight, made sense - the toilet had leaked on and off the past few years, clearly because the floor was uneven. Josh returned all calls in a timely manner. From our reaching out to him for an estimate , to materials needed & to set up work schedule. Josh is a pleasant , honest , reliable business man. He was up front that he takes a bit longer to complete jobs as he does almost all the work himself . He gave us an explanation of the different Flooring best suited for a kitchen. Also , gave us the name of several places we could go look at floor samples. Because of a situation he had no control over , the date we had for floor install had to be postponed a couple of weeks. Josh installed approximately 1,800 sf of 3/4" engineered white oak flooring on an existing concrete slab in our older home. It was important to us that the person providing the cost estimate would be the person doing the work, which was the case with Josh. He coordinated with our tile installer to ensure our flooring transitions would be flush and even with one another. Josh was pleasant and easy to get along with, conscientious and customer focused, was a good communicator and followed through on all of his commitments. My wife and I had Josh install LVP flooring throughout most of our home in December. From the outset, Josh was prompt in replying to calls, texts, and emails. His initial estimate was very competitive and accurate. Once the job started, Josh arrived and left when he said he would. He kept us informed throughout the process and was always happy to answer any questions we might have. Josh started our job 2 weeks before Christmas and got it done with almost a week to spare, while other installers who bid the job told us they'd be done sometime in "early 2019". Josh put in extra effort to make sure that we were able to put up a tree and have a happy holiday. The quality of his work was exceptional. Josh installed Marmoleum and cork in our old house 12 years ago, and he did such a solid job for us that we brought him back in to install new Marmoleum, cork and vinyl tile floors in our new house earlier this year. He is extremely careful and thorough in his work, and he regularly took the time to talk with us about various options and choices we could make. As just one example of the care he takes, in both houses, Josh followed taking out the old floors with an extensive process of leveling the subfloors prior to laying the new flooring. I can easily imagine a flooring installer minimizing or even skipping this laborious step (obviously, the original floors were installed without this leveling), but this leveling resulted in better appearance.
