I had the salmon, and my husband ordered the ribs; both were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and they also have an extensive wine list with plenty of great options. The real star, though, is the cornbread appetizer. I've never had anything quite like it. It arrives in a large cast-iron skillet with more than enough to take home. We reheated the leftovers in the air fryer the next day, and it tasted just as amazing as it did in the restaurant. If you're looking for a memorable meal with excellent food, drinks, and service, Miramonte gets a big thumbs up from us!

I was trying so hard to like this place. The only semi save to this place was the older gentleman bartender but other than that ..... i was shocked that both drinks were charged even though we only drank one and express the reason why was due to taste they offered to remake one drink and not the other. Kinda disappointing for $30 no experience, bad taste and wasted time. they serve espresso martinis with a side of more drink but it clearly just equals a barley made drink.

So the building looks dated and so are the turn into the business/parking lot, but don't let that stop you from great food and service. Despite my observations, the place is very Tucson, quaint with history. The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived at 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio and that's clear in advance, and understandable. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had marrow before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and then the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, we never felt like guests. We felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction reminded us that hospitality isn't just something your staff does. It's who they are. Our dinner at the Grill with Nick was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even knew we needed it, and his recommendations, along with the pairings from the house sommelier, elevated an already incredible meal into an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional, but sharing it while watching the sun disappear over the horizon made it feel almost magical. It's one of those evenings we'll talk about for years. The next morning, Cal made brunch every bit as memorable. So many resorts save their best effort for dinner and let breakfast become an afterthought. Not here. The quality of the menu, the freshness of the ingredients, and the level of service were every bit as impressive. It was another reminder that excellence isn't reserved for special occasions at your resort. It's simply your standard. Preston continued that experience the following day, and Steve, our host, welcomed us with the kind of kindness that instantly makes you feel at home. Steve is one of those people who genuinely love what they do because they're that good, and they make you feel welcome. There's something special about walking into a room and feeling like people are genuinely happy you're there. That's exactly how your team made us feel. One of our favorite memories came from spending time at the Terraza Garden Lounge with Ethan. By the second visit, he already remembered our favorite drinks and greeted us like old friends. Those small moments may seem insignificant, but they're the moments people remember long after the vacation ends. They create connections that no beautiful building or incredible view ever could. Yes, your resort is stunning. The views are breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate, and every corner feels like a postcard. But if someone asked us what truly sets this place apart, our answer wouldn't be the scenery. It's your people. They create an experience that can't be manufactured or copied. They make visitors feel valued, cared for, and genuinely welcome. That's a rare gift, and it's what will bring us back year after year. I'll admit there was a small part of me that almost didn't want to write this review because I selfishly wanted to keep this little slice of heaven our own secret. But the people who made our stay so special deserve recognition. Thank you for creating memories we'll carry with us long after this trip ends. We'll be back.

We were seating for our reservation and greeted by one young lady (Camryn) but then ended up with a different waiter (Bruce). Did not care for his attitude at all. His tone was passive aggressive, condescending and he spoke to us like we were dumb. Then the food. We ordered the lamb shank which we sent back because it was all fat. The salmon which was okay, prosciutto wrapped scallops and octopus which was my favorite. It took over an hour to get our food because 2 people in our party of 4 ordered a salad. The staff was literally waiting until the salad was done before bringing our food. But the people eating the salad were just nibbling and eating slow because they were hungry and waiting on the food that we finally asked about after an hour. We placed the order at 8:20 and received the food around 9:15. The restaurant closes at 9. SMH If I were to go back to this place, it would only be to sit outside in their beautiful area with a glass of wine, NOT to eat.
