Delicious bagels, pricey though. You must order early though, because he only makes so many of each variety

Easy to order and delivered on time. Great New York style bagel, but Kansas City hospitality service and not New York prices.

Delicious and extremely fresh bagels. Both sides seem like the top side.

Ask the Community - s2s Bagels

Does s2s have any gluten free bagels? The place sounds amazing. Even though it is high protein, do you use any type of wheat in your flour? (My body cannot tolerate any Gluten).

All bagels are made with high protein flour. New York style, water boiled bagels are my specialty. Paul

Continually the best bagels in the city…read more We don't get bagels a ton, maybe a handful of times per year, and it's always worth going out of my way to go to Meshuggah. These are so legit, the whole family loves them, and they've really carved their niche as the spot to go to. For starters, they really come as close as possible to nailing the true, NYC style bagel. They are perfectly balanced in their chewiness, fluffiness, and flavor. I'm partial to the everything bagel with a big of plain schmear (although they're good enough to eat on their own without schmear.) Originally I had thought bagels had to be toasted, but not here.. these stand on their own just as they are, and the untoasted texture is perfection. One time, loading up before a bike trip, I also tried their cinnamon raisin bagel paired with cinnamon sugar schmear and it was delicious. Definitely on the sweeter side as expected, but good for a treat to change it up. My girls love the salt ones, but damn, you could melt icy driveways with these things. They certainly live up to their name. I haven't branched out much to try the lox/salmon combos, but I'm sure they're good if that's your thing. Highly recommend!

Recently they changed from coffee refills to only one cup per charge which is alright. I will say for how busy they get during peak hours they definitely need bigger space and parking lot! Not pictured but I also tried their Jalapeño Bagel with Scallion Shmear which was very good!

Blackhole bakery is worth the hype and worth showing up early for. They know what they're doing and…read morethey do it well. What appears to be a mom and pop bakery is actually a baker who has carefully done his research and brings himself up to date on the latest trends of flavor in the baking world. The vibes are amazing - I especially love the art piece on the wall he commissioned from a local artist. I saw the Instagram page with several posts explaining how he did each part. Everything was absolutely delicious (I am biased with the ham and gruyere cheese since that is a favorite combo of mine), the danish was delicious (I could tell maybe it uses veryberryosa - a recent trend in baking to be used as filling), and the same was probably on the cinnamon roll looking crossaint. Now the grand prize - the mochi donuts were spectacular. The flavors I got were raspberry almond (my #1 favorite I got twice), cereal (this was carefully curated and not too sweet like most cereal based baked goods), Irish coffee (didn't taste like coffee, gave it to a friend) and the mango black tea was also a slam dunk for me. The staff are incredibly friendly here which is a huge plus!

Weird We've visited…read morethis shop three or four different times now, and unfortunately each visit has felt a little awkward or uncomfortable in a new way. During our last three visits especially, one of the pastry clerks came across as very cold and off-putting, to the point where even simple conversation outside of placing an order seemed unwelcome. I understand everyone has difficult days, but customer interactions are about more than just completing a sale. Sometimes taking a moment to genuinely acknowledge and engage with people can make a big difference, especially for returning customers. Despite the shop being empty, the interactions felt rushed and distracted, and there seemed to be little interest in conversation beyond the transaction itself. At one point, he mentioned frustration about so many coffee shops opening nearby. As someone who appreciates small businesses, I would have gladly offered encouragement or support, but for the third visit in a row, it felt like we were only acknowledged long enough to complete a pastry purchase. We will not be coming back. And the pastries are burnt.
