I came to this mom and pop donut shop, due to wanting donuts from a place that freshly made donuts daily. According to the description of the establishment on google and word of mouth, this is what they are known for. I ordered six glaze donuts holes and one red velvet donut, I rate them a 3/10. The donuts definitely weren't fresh, it seemed as if they were previously frozen or refrigerated, then sat out in the display of donuts. It's possible the other donuts were fresh but mines by any means weren't. The service was meh, the young lady who took my order seemed to be in a rush and didn't care to answer my questions that I asked. I don't think I'll be coming back here, especially since I don't like in Belton / Raymore area. If you happen to live in the area give this place a try, your experience might be different than mines. read more

I have been there between 8:30 am and 9 am on 2 separate occasions (both visits were on Sunday) and both times they were virtually sold out. Being that they stay open until noon, it would be nice to find something other than donut holes left. Sadly, we won't go back. read more

My co-worker Dwain brought these into the office this morning and they looked amazing! There was an oreo creme donut that was so good and decadent. It is too sweet to have one to yourself, 3 of us split this one donut! But it was really good. We cut up a few of the other donuts to each try some other flavors. I thought the freshness of the donut was good and the icing ratio was good as well. I had never heard of this place before but I am glad I tried it! If you live in the area, I definitely recommend checking them out if you haven't already. Went to Raymore location Sunday 8 am almost out of donuts already. Looks like they make them in Belton and bring over to Raymore. Not good enough to make another trip. In Kansas City on a scale 1-10 there is no number 10 only some strong 9 Big Daddy is at best 3-4 read more

Bummed out when I stopped in this morning. All the employees were outside taking a smoke break, and when customers walked in, they were quick to get there, which was good. Service overall was not the issue. It was the quality and the selection. There was barely anything there and I could tell they were not fresh. It was 6:30am. The donuts were definitely a day old if not longer. All 3 were stale. I've had fresh donuts from there before multiple times, but quality was drastically different... Did not give them a 1 star based on decent service, but I'd be hesitant to go back now. read more

Fifteen hours before we were supposed to leave for Spring Break we got an email that our flights were cancelled and after hours of trying we could find no other way to our destination. This left a little five year old sobbing. Our neighbor came to the rescue the morning we were supposed to leave and left half a dozen donuts on our porch for her. They smelled amazing and were incredibly fresh. The cinnamon rolls was huge with lots of tear apart layers and covered in glaze but a very thin glaze so it didn't overpower. The sprinkle cake donuts are adorable and moist. The long john was perfect and pillowy. First and last time. I visited the Belton location, the older gal working wasn't pleasant. I walked in the door, first thing she said was do you want a box or bag? I looked over the small selection they had and asked what a couple were. She acted put out that I asked, like I should already know. The customer service was terrible. I hope she has a better day... as far as the donut. I chose a glazed chocolate frosted with sprinkles. The chocolate tasted like canned frosting. The donut without frosting would be okay. Donuts were giant. A little too sweet for me. I liked the maple bacon. Very unique experience. The donuts were left out all day and refrigerated overnight. Even second day-the red velvet cake donut was AMAZING! I would say one thing, less icing. Too sweet can make a great tummy ache. read more

Wow!! Yum! My husband asked me to type "donuts" in a Yelp search while we were driving through Raymore to see if we could find one his grandparents used to like... Long store short; it has since closed- but Big Daddy's is open!!! After reading other reviews my husband was on a mission to get to big Daddy's early, so they didn't sell out...the only thing we forgot was daylight savings time, lol so he was an hour later than he wanted to be and the variety was slim. What we did get was amazingly fresh and flavorful donuts! My favorite (and I wouldn't have thought it would be) was the maple bacon donut. Oh my, I loved it! We will be going back soon! I drove all the way from Overland Park to Belton MO and i guess no one twisted my arm but I was looking for cronuts and the gentleman I spoke with said they have them also was being advertised on this website http://www.kansascity.com/2013/10/16/4556526/found-cronut-style-doughnuts-in.html I was on vacation in Los Angeles and had the cronuts for the first time and when I drove to Belton I was expecting the same thing. The gentlemen said he only had 3 left and so when we got there the guy had them on a clear plastic bag same ones used for small office trash cans. I was at least expecting a donut box My first impression was do I buy these or pass up? Anyways he charged me 8 dollars and change for 3 and some other left over donuts. I still could not get over the plastic bag. It felt like they were being donated to a homeless person or getting ready to go in the trash. All it took was one bite and I took the pics and throw them all out. What a disappointment, They are no where close to what a cronut should be. And btw they were called crodaddy. The place was also hidden both GPS had me going the wrong way and the gentlemen could not give me accurate directions. Good donuts, friendly staff! Came in on a Sunday. The girls that worked where were prompt and seemed to know the locals. We got a few of their cronuts and a couple of Apple Fritter Bites. The cronut (available on the weekends) was good, although I can't see too much about it that resembled a croissant, other than the attempted flaky layers. I enjoyed it very much though. Low reviews for a short selection are baloney as there are many establishments with a special product that are first come first serve and sometimes those kind of places run out early on busier mornings! Just the luck of the draw that day! Snows BBQ in Texas is world renowned and people will drive 2 hours to find out the BBQ is out at 8:00am. Moral of the story on a weekend? Call first.
