They're pretty tasty. I like to grab a donut before school, some of my favorites are the red velvet and maple bacon. However as a sprinkles lover they usually only have 1 kind with sprinkles at a time (usually chocolate iced). I would like to see more variety with sprinkles but that is just personal preference. Either way they always taste good and I've never had a negative experience. read more

You could find a better donut, you just won't pay more for it. My husband and I tried this place when they were on North Scott and neither liked our donut. Decided to give the new location a try today. Mind you, it was 10:30, so the selection was very limited. Honestly, the only flavor they seem to make is Old Frying Grease. These are just the worst donuts. Had to brush my teeth to get the fried taste out of my mouth. Big Daddy is officially crossed off our list. read more

Excellent donuts. Service is friendly. Love the cream filled king John's and the raspberry filled and the cinnamon rolls are huge and the Apple fritters. So many good choices. Love this bakery. read more

The selection of donuts was very small and when we arrived, the door was locked despite the store being open. The woman who opened it and checked us out said something about it "always being locked," which was honestly kind of baffling to hear. It was also kind of dark inside and there was no one else there. The donuts were okay, nothing special. We probably won't be back. read more

I don't understand the negative comments. I've never experienced anyone being impatient or rude and I've only been to the Belton location. My grandchildren have always been welcomed in the store and look forward to going. The donuts are incredible and though some will consider them pricey, you really get what you pay for. Another thing I appreciate is this business is a strong supporter of law enforcement and all first responders and isn't ashamed to say it. They do run low on selection very quickly but make a phone call order and they will have it ready. Thanks BIG DADDYS read more

Sometimes this place is amazing and sometimes they are clearly days old donuts. Frustrating spending 20-30$ and never knowing what your going to get. Also the older lady working is pretty rude and rushes you even when there is no one else in the store. I've given this place around 8 chances and gotten great donuts 3 times maybe? That combined with the service has turned me off. read more

The older lady is always rude to me and my family... this is like the 3rd time I've given her a chance and we've finally had it we won't be back to this location nor will I recommend them to anyone... I always try to support local but this lady is ridiculous read more

The older lady that works there is extremely rude 90 percent of the time. She rolls her eyes as if she's inconvenienced someone is coming to buy. And then snappy about how she doesn't have this/that donut. Go to the raymore location! So much nicer. read more

Mary is extremely rude most times that we go into the store or even drive through. She's very impatient with any small children and it's just very unpleasant to deal with. When they run out of donuts she is overly stressed and then that causes her to be even more rude. I would always drive to Raymore if it wasn't for the fact that the Belton store is right next to my place. Belton is constantly running out of donuts I don't understand why the Raymore will not send more to the store. The donuts rock but seriously get it together. read more

While visiting my niece, we had these for breakfast one morning and they were awesome! We selected a wide range from lemon and raspberry filled to cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and blueberry cake. All were very fresh and not at all greasy. We liked them so much that we are stopping before we leave town tomorrow to grab a few for the long ride home! read more

Lady at counter was abrupt while taking donuts out for my kids. She watched her computer screen closely while I paid... said something to the effect of "I don't trust people." I wish I'd asked her to clarify, etc., but by then I just wanted to leave. read more

According to the description of the establishment on google and word of mouth, this is what they are known for. I ordered six glaze donuts holes and one red velvet donut, I rate them a 3/10. The donuts definitely weren't fresh, it seemed as if they were previously frozen or refrigerated, then sat out in the display of donuts. It's possible the other donuts were fresh but mines by any means weren't. The service was meh, the young lady who took my order seemed to be in a rush and didn't care to answer my questions that I asked. I don't think I'll be coming back here, especially since I don't like in Belton / Raymore area. For the first two we got something like lunch special/combo and the Sesame chicken we got more of the full-size entree. All portions were good. They give you a huge portion of rice, which in our case is too much rice, but at least since there's a pretty significant fee to upgrade to fried rice as we did on all dishes, at least it's big amount to I guess you'd say justify the amount of the upcharge. I truly can't imagine anyone wanting the huge amounts of rice they put in each meal -- not that it was bad, but perhaps others like rice more than we do. As someone who absolutely hates zucchini, I was disappointed they put zucchini in the Cashew chicken but was relieved that it wasn't much. Some places use zucchini as so much of a filler in their foods that it's wasteful for me as I won't eat it. Since this was our first time here, I wasn't familiar with the ingredients and honestly never thought about it being an ingredient in their dish. The Sweet & Sour shrimp was the typical pre-breaded out of a box shrimp it seemed. What was a little odd is that the shrimp were all different sizes and shapes. Some were long and straight like the ones you usually get on the appetizer platters at places like this and others were those rounder pieces that are more typical in an entree. Again, being unfamiliar with this restaurant, I was disappointed that they don't add any onions, peppers or even pineapple in with the fried pieces. I only had a few pieces of the Sesame chicken. It was okay to me, but the person who actually ordered it really did not care for it. The sauce was very overpowering and too sweet. By the time she got to finishing the leftovers she literally rinsed the pieces of chicken to remove the sauce that she could. The sides of Crab Rangoon and Egg Roll were fine, nothing unexpected, but nothing particularly special. The ordering and pickup process was fine. We don't live in Belton so a return visit is already unlikely. The fact that the food was tolerable but nothing special is also an indicator that we won't return.

If you need a gluten-free option, Yoga Pants is solid. Pizza and beer always make a great combo. You can make your own pizza or choose from one of the many creative options. The food menu is huge, and there are also wraps, salads, and a few other items to choose from. We did not get food this time, and it has been years since I have had MCBC's pizza, but I do remember it being good. I rarely make it out to Martin City, but whenever I am passing through, beer from MCBC is a must.
