The time we walked in, employees in the back yelled "NO! There's people, noooo!" They clearly did not want to serve us food so we walked right out. That service explains why there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. read more

We walked in and right back out! How can anyone think about eating here smelling sewage, don't quite understand. Yuck!!!

This ihop has sucked for years before I even start....My son asked for ihop so reluctantly that's where I took him. Waited like 6/7 minutes for a table. No one came to greet us in the ten minutes we sat and waited. I decided to get up and leave after someone who just had sat down had a server greet them and ask if they were ready to order, while my kiddo sat anxiously. My son cried while leaving. We will not be back. read more

Food OK. Service poor three times I went to IHOP and three tomes I left without being seated. I van tolerate a lot of poor service but being ignored isn't one. After standing for 8 minutes, alone, without being seated, I left. Thete wrte servers there. Three passed going from one place or another None spoke to me. As for atmosphere, it was like standing inside a freezer. This is summer. People are lightly dressed. You don't need to turn up the A/C to max. read more

Great service. Great food. The server with glasses on from west Africa was really kind.

We sat down at 8:00 am, orders taken at 830, the last of the food delivered at 930. Had to constantly go back to get coffee refills. Waitress never came to check on our food after she delivered it. By the time we left, the line waiting to be seated was almost out of the door, yet there still was space available. My order was not how I wanted it cooked, the hash whites were cold. I had to get up and find our waitress to get my decaf coffee. She grabbed a pot and poured me a cup and filled a carafe which I took back to my seat. It was stone cold! read more

OK today was a long morning trying to find breakfast but I think we hit it a third time is a charm ! I walked in to the beautiful smell of clean got seated to a table a booth. Ordered the poblano omelette and a great steak omelette bowl with French toast, well not your average French toast because they were large and in charge and beautiful and I put the strawberry syrup on them to top it off. I started to do the happy dance once they reach my mouth it was awesome yeah ha ha has got a come up out here in Belton. Our waitress Angelo was on the spot for everything drinks, coffee you name it sour cream she brought it out and made sure we were not lacking anything in our visit. She made it very pleasurable to leave a tip for great service. We will be back.! read more

Our food was excellent and our server/host was spectacular. I know that COVID and associated issues took a toll on many businesses and the lack of customers can be disheartening but our experience here was exemplary. Ignore some of the bad reviews where some people vent from their entitled spleen. This place is worth your time and consideration. You will not be sorry you went. Nobody paid me for this review and I have no affiliation with the business or anyone there. I just felt people deserve to know how good the place is. BTW, the strawberry crepes are to die for! YUM! read more

Would not recommend. Last few times we have been there , it smelled of sewer. Only two waitresses working front for register and seating and serving. read more

I haven't been here in about two years and today I've been reminded of why the service is so slow. it was me and three other tables and four workers. never mind curbside pick up where they never answer the phone to bring your food out. read more

Let's put it this way... There are to many kids working here, on their phones not wanting to work. If your working then you need to be working not sanding around talking to your friends about what you did over the weekend, you have family's here that would like to enjoy some fun family time and eat some food. To say the least this place if failing at doing what it should. That being customer service and hospitality, I will not be coming here again. They don't deserve anything more than 1 Star. Stay off the phone do your job, kids need to be working but no longer have a work ethic. Even the manager is on the phone and standing around talking, not doing the job he or she should be. The girl who took our order didn't even know what was available on the menu, we had to show her. read more

There is mold on the ceiling, inappropriate language from the servers as well. The service was really bad as well. We have a server that has pants that are not pulled up also very inappropriate , also the food was the only thing that was great in all honesty. Also very talented host he always checks up on the other customers even if it's not his job read more

We went to IHop in Belton, Mo tonight for dinner. I wanted to try the crepes. The last time I had crepes was when I was in Paris. I have to say...the crepes (berry) I ate at IHOP in Belton were OUTSTANDING, and MUCH better than the ones I had in Paris a few years ago. These were light, not too sweet, and the fruit (blueberries and strawberries) were perfect. I hope to go back and have them again before the special ends. THANK YOU IHOP. Also the people who work there are super friendly. read more

OK yes I know another chain, and what is nice about chain restaurants is consistency. Hubby and I went to IHOP to eat after church today. An incentive to check out the IHOP in Belton, which use to house a Country Kitchen a few years ago, is that they participate in Ray-Pec Educational Foundation's fund raising discount card. Always nice to get a "deal" when eating out, so that'a a plug for the cards kids sell for school, but I digress. The deal at IHOP was buy one entree and two drinks get a free entree. Since breakfast IS my favorite meal of the day, it wasn't hard to give IHOP a shot. We took advantage of their Double Cheese Scrambles combos. Hubby and I both got the spinach cheese scramble. There was a good amount of fresh, yes fresh, spinach in the eggs. The combo came with hashbrowns and we ordered bacon. The bacon was crisp and salty, and the buttermilk pancakes were good. In terms of restaurant condition, this store was cleaner than most IHOPs and our server was fantastic. We did not have to ask for refills on our Diet Cokes, she anticipated when they were running low and just brought refills. The space was also not overly crowded, in that some other IHOPs I've eaten at the tables are on top of each other. It was a nice setting to eat a relaxed meal and chat, it was also consistently busy. We were not rushed to get out after we ate. The franchise owner was at the cash register when we checked out and wanted to make sure everything was OK and pointed out the survey on the receipt for a free short stack. When I'm thinking about breakfast and need a pancake fix. I'm going back to THIS IHOP. read more

The service was so bad such a long wait over 45min with our food tasting so bad the sausage tasted terrible and my crepes gave me a stomach ache it tasted really awful and the bathroom was filthy the doors would not lock i had to hold it closed while i was peeing and it costed 50$ for all of that horrible food although the scrambled eggs tasted amazing i don't recommend going there but if you do you should get the scambled eggs. read more

We have always had problems with slow service at this IHOP in Belton, MO. But we received a coupon for FREE BREAKFAST so we thought we'd give it a try again. Once again, we walked in and there was NO ONE at the hostess desk. Two people were waiting for take out and one was waiting to pay their bill. We looked around and saw only one waitress. We walked out of this IHOP for at least the second time in four years... No one was there to even see us go. Not worth waiting - even for FREE. read more

Service was horrible. Waited almost an hour for food. My eggs were over cooked and hash browns were burnt. Waitress messed up our tickets.

While I'm sure the food is great, the service is REALLY slow. My family waited 15 minutes after being seated, and they didn't even ask us about drinks. They walked past us SEVERAL TIMES and somehow didn't notice that we didn't have drinks, or even cups. I'm upset. read more

Terrible customer service, waited at table for 15min and were never acknowledged. The young lady looked at us several times but didn't even bother to say it would be a while. read more

I DO NOT recommend eating at this IHop location to anyone. I had an issue with receiving only part of my order and when I asked the waitress about it the next thing I knew the cook was at my table yelling at me that he sent out the correct order and I could just not read a menu. I showed him what the menu said and he was adamant that what he sent out was correct, and not the menu. I was so extremy embarrassed as this went on for a few minutes and everyone on my side of the restaurant was looking at my table. The waitress was trying to fix things, and said the cook had yelled at her too when she told him about the issue. The manager never came by to see what was wrong, he just let the cook yell at me, my daughter and granddaughter. The franchise owner has never responded to my complaint. This speaks volumes in my mind. Tell your friends ....stay away from this IHop location. read more

Do NOT go here ever!!! Absolutely hated this place. Have never been treated so rude and disrespectful in my life. We been driving for 5 hours and stop for a "quick" dinner. There were about 5 servers smoking outside the restaurant (should've know then but we are in a hurry). 20 min to get seated since we had to wait for them to get back in the restaurant. Then she sat us and after about 30 more minutes another server comes and ask if everything was ok my husband said we just want to order (I wanted to cash out and leave). We order and in about 30 more min our food was on the table. There was about three other customers, empty and I see why... IHOP restaurants are usually crowded. Is in their best interest to get people in and out quick. This restaurant has the worst service ever. read more

Solid 3. Omelets and pancakes are always exceptional. Other menu items are just so so. I have not been overly impressed with the non breakfast options in general because they are not consistent. I would have to say the same about the service sometimes the restaurant is understaffed which makes it hard for even the best waiter or waitress to do their job. So it wouldn't say it's the waiters fault it's the restaurants fault for not hiring enough people. read more

Gave them another chance and set there for 15min and no one even came for drink orders or anything management didn't even know what to say when I said they are not even busy and there is only 3 tables there with customers.. so I packed Up my family and went to Cracker Barrel.. read more

We went to belton ihop at 5pm may 10th 2021. The restaurant is clean the staff are polite and the food is excellent.

Terrible. There was almost no one in there, and it took 20 minutes to get drinks. Food came out cold. The service was terrible. The server Johnna couldn't count money back and tried to take 20 dollars as a tip. Will never return. Go to Lee's summits ihop if you are wanting good food and good service read more

I ordered food on Uber eats and they did not get my order right I think the people that work there are idiots or they just don't care

I love I hop but this one is not good. We have been waiting for 10 min for them to come and order our drinks. They have had other people come in and get seated then they got there drink orders in. No one has waited on us. Very upset. But on the good side, we had an awesome waitress! We all thought this other lady was our waitress and so did she. The lady at the door, needs an attitude check, I told her we had 5 and she said "oh.. five?" Like she didn't want us to eat here bc we have "too" many people in our group. read more

I saw a cook digging in his ear, I saw a server scraping something off the side of a glass seconds before he poured orange juice into it at someone's table, my water glass had bits floating in it, the bacon tasted funny, the pancakes I ordered looked nothing like the picture in the menu, my food wasn't hot, drink refills were never offered. We won't return. read more

The service here is pretty bad. Got seated right away but the wait staff is pretty bad. We sat for 15 minutes just to get our drinks. Then another 15 just to order food. They were not busy in fact the hostess said we just missed the rush. If your in a hurry might want to think twice about here read more

I used to love this place, but I think they had a change in management because I've noticed that the service has began to decline and the food isn't nearly as good as it used to be. It also seems like they almost never have enough staff on hand. read more

Always like IHOP until today. Ordered the steak omelet and pancakes. Was ok until I got to the hash browns inside. The omelet was slightly dark too. They smelled and tasted like old oil on a dirty grill. I know this smell from working in restaurants. Probably won't be back. read more

We are currently at IHOP and we've waited 15 minutes just to get a server to come to us. They walked past us several times and even stared at us. There's barely any customers here so this place is dead. Won't be back again. It's ridiculous. read more

Excellent customer service so early in the morning, very clean if you are traveling through its right off highway and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this location- read more

3 star place, only because they just don't get the details right. The hash browns are mostly hash and no brown. The eggs are runny and the bacon is under cooked. The pancakes of course are very good. The service was good but it sure took a while to get my food. Maybe next time I'll only get pancakes . read more

IHOP offers a varied menu but seems we always order same thing always good. Miss Virginia glad when she returns. Busy today which is good.

Was surprised that a new manager has stopped the military discount for a whole family dining. Now it is just the one item that the military individual ordered. Hey I get it, that whole family didn't serve...they only supported, encouraged, stood by and kept the household going while that member served. Shame on IHOP in Belton. read more

Horrible place. Most of the time it is cold, and the place smells like windex which makes the so-so food taste like windex. The manager is hideous to his workers. If you must go to an IHOP in this area, go to Grandview. read more

Five stars to Dave and team!! Professional and proficient ! Nice and clean place .I would certainly come back ! Thank you!

My dad has been on an eternal quest for corn pancakes. He usually ask at whatever location we are at and the answer is typically no. We went to IHOP this morning and he again asked for corn pancakes. The waitress, Katlynn, had told him that they could. The plate arrived as requested. Kudos to the waitress as well as the cook for going the extra mile and for putting a smile on my dad's face! read more
