I brought it to this Emeryville location and Vanessa helped me out. She really spent some time on troubleshooting and trying to fix the banner, and she was explaining the process to me along the way which I really appreciated. She determined that it was faulty hardware so she called the location in SF where I got it made and coordinated with them to get it remade in LA (where I live). The banner not functioning properly was a really stressful situation for me (as a business owner) but I felt very supported by Vanessa and I felt like someone had my back. In my experience, this is really hard to find, especially in big companies like Fedex. She went above and beyond, provided excellent customer support, and really helped me out. I hope the team does something to recognize her service!

This UPS Store is very convenient - located on the ground floor just near the main entrance to the Oakland City Center Marriott and the Hertz office also co-located there. In fact, it was a visit to Hertz that brought me here. The Oakland City Center Marriott (and this UPS Store and Hertz location are) is/are convenient to the freeway, and super convenient by BART. Just get off at the downtown end of the 12th Street station (towards the front of a train travelling in the SF direction), and that puts you right cross the street! Like I mentioned, I was going to Hertz to pick up a car, and I happened to have a small Amazon return in my backpack. My plan was to find a convenient UPS location in the next day or two to return this thing, so it was a time-saving and convenient delight to find one right in front of me and literally next door to where I was going. The store itself is quite small, but neat. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and patient (yes, it took me a while to find my return code, since I wasn't expecting to need it so soon). All in all it was a nice experience. I don't imagine myself going out of my way to go to this location, but if I do find I need a UPS Store and this one's in my path, I'll look forward to visiting again.
