6:30 Reservations on a Friday night and we were escorted to a booth in the bar area. This worked out well for us as we wanted to visit, and so the live music was in the background and was enjoyed. Started with poutines which were described as fabulous, with special mention of the onions and gravy. Entrees included the stew, a burger, the orzo and one other. The burger and fries were very good, and the other diners enjoyed theirs as well. We were able to play a couple games of tabletop shuffleboard too after dinner which was a nice addition to the evening. The manager checked in to make sure all was well and our waitress was very attentive.

A wonderful evening at A Restaurant, that understands the first and second rules of being a restaurant. Good food great service. We were a group of six and and from beginning to end, all of us agreed that this restaurant works towards making your dining experience memorable. One of the best waitresses I have ever had paired with interesting and tasteful food.

We are back in Asheville and back at Rye Knot. Service by Lisa was phenomenal, and the food delicious. The weather called for us to eat outside which was lovely. Good music in the background and Bob was able to give us a tour of the distillery/brewery. Fun fact Rye Knot was the first to have a distilling and brewing license in North Carolina.

Open after Helene! Delicious beet salad with Salmon, gin and tonic with lime, ice in a real glass:) not plastic! One of a few restaurants where full service despite the current challenges is happening. Please stop by to support them. Plenty of parking great menu.

It was hard to pick from the menu because multiple items looked savory and mouthwatering. I got the fried green tomato BLT with a side of cabbage slaw and for an appetizer the naan. Oh my goodness gracious honey child.

Mediocre beer (at best) at a premium price. You are WAY BETTER OFF visiting Salt Face Mule just a few minutes away.

It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. Mrs. K. and I took the two seats at the end and I walked up to the bar to order drinks and dinner. A pint of the "American Style Lager" for me and their "Spicy!" ginger beer that Mrs. K. said was good but not all that spicy. Less than ten minutes later, my chicken wings arrived. They sell them as "a pound" which was good because these were very small wings. Small, but tasty in a sweet/spicy sauce and I ate nearly all of them while slowly sipping that very crushable beer. When it was done, back into the Sprinter van and off to figure out where we're parking for the night. I had tried to make a reservation on their RV parking app but they're booked two or three weeks out! Note: The restrooms are upstairs and they have an elevator. My husband and I ordered the Tuesday special which has two smashed burgers, fries, and a white labs brewing beer of your choice. I chose the American beer, which was very flavorful and not bitter. I am not a big beer drinker however I drank the entire glass. I was a little disappointed in the burger. The burgers were not very smashed and very dry. They did have a special sauce that they put on, but it was less than a teaspoon, could definitely use more sauce to help with the dryness of the burger. They did give you a large amount of french fries that were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and perhaps try other items on their menu. Many breweries in the area have a limited kitchens or not at all. If you're looking for a good beer with friendly staff and nice atmosphere this is your place.

Being someone who isn't the biggest fan of kids in the brewery, it was nice that the kids had a place outside to run around while I could drink in (relative) silence inside. As for the beers, yes they have all the New Belgium favorites you know and love from the store, but with plenty of beers that you'll only find on the tap list. Even though the brewery is called New Belgium, they aren't really known in the beer aisles for Belgian styles. Here is where all those Belgian styles are, and they are fantastic. My only regret was that I didn't have enough time to spend there because there were too many other places to visit in a short amount of time. Local beer snobs will probably tell you to avoid New Belgium because it's "too corporate", but don't listen to that nonsense. New Belgium's tap room was one of the most impressive I've ever visited - great quality beers in an incredible space.
