ELLIE'S TABLE had a 4.5 star rating and when I looked at pictures of the shop and drinks, it looked promising. That was my mistake -- the one time I go off of just pictures and not read the reviews. I did not realize that this was a shop located in an office building. That was what tipped me off that I probably wouldn't be enjoying what I ordered. I got an iced earl grey latte, which I didn't end up finishing because it was just okay. So much open space outside and the interior is nice. It's probably a great option if you work in the building, but if you're coming just for food/coffee, might not be worth it. It's hard to find and there's no parking right in front. Service was okay. I was the only one there and I let them know I was picking up an order and the guy couldn't find the order. He had to ask his co-worker, but the drink was right behind him.

Is it guilt-free...NO, but it is very delicious! I have my usual "go-to" drink that is off menu and they make it to perfection each and every time. Service is usually friendly and welcoming. The only "complaint" I have about this location is that there are so many times I wanted them to be open on Sundays. But I get it, considering they are tucked away in a business park and many folks are not at work in their offices on a Sunday, it makes sense to close...I guess lol ! If you haven't tried out this Irvine location of TruBru, you really should as they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and. fantastic drinks and baked goods along with cooked food as well.

First time coming here, I don't see myself coming back any time soon either. As always, sometimes it's an off day and then It winds up being really good, so don't take my word for it. I wanted to order the GLUTEN FREE walnut bread that they had labeled in the bakery case. The lady at the register told me she didn't think it was gluten free even though it clearly was labeled. So she went to the back and confirmed that it was mislabeled and told me that the muffins on the bottom were gluten free, however they were NOT labeled as being gluten free. Confusing I know, but it appeared the entire bakery case was labeled incorrectly then. I suppose if you had celiac, this could be a concern. I'm sensitive to gluten but not allergic thankfully. I mentioned this should have been labeled correctly, not to sound pushy but it could end up being a serious problem for someone. Lastly, I ordered the Turkish latte, and she rang up a regular latte, no problem, I let her know it was the Turkish Latte that I was ordering so she corrected it but when I picked up my coffee, I wound up with a regular latte anyway (and paid for the Turkish Latte). Not the best first impression, coffee itself wasn't bad, disappointing though, Turkish coffee is pretty strong and this tasted like more milk than coffee. Definitely not strong enough, and kind of added to the frustration. I would not recommend this place, there are plenty of fantastic coffee houses as you can see from my reviews, I'd go somewhere else.

There is EV parking in the garage. Maybe the 4th or 5th floor? I think it's run by ChargePoint. When we showed up at 10am on Monday, the place was empty. It was so nice to have the place to ourselves! We tried to order a crepe but their crepe delivery was on its way! So we ordered a quiche with a side of salad. Quiche was very rich yet light, had been heated. I tasted the leeks and the cheese but not so much of the bacon. That's fine by me! The salad was spring mix - delicious with light vinaigrette! Then the crepe delivery showed up so we ordered the Romeo and Juliette crepe - Nutella, banana and strawberries. It was great as well! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Overall, good coffee, plenty of food choices, and satisfying portions.

We weren't even sure we were at the right place at first because it looked like nobody was there. It didn't seem busy at all and it's kind of in a commercial business area, so I was a little skeptical. But there were about 10 to 15 of us in the group, so we said all right, let's try it out. We ordered a little bit of everything. Benedicts, omelets, waffles, French toast, lox bagels, salads, and some strawberry matchas. Everything was phenomenal, no exaggeration. The Benedict I got was awesome, perfectly cooked, with super yolky eggs and that nice runniness running right down onto the crispy biscuit underneath. The waffle had powdered sugar on top and a great crisp and crunch to it. The matchas were perfect too, not too milky and not too sweet, just a really nice balance of the matcha with the ube and the strawberry. The presentation on all the dishes came out wonderful as well. The girl who served us was extremely sweet and patient, which isn't easy with a table that big and that many orders to take. Everybody in our group was thoroughly impressed and had great things to say, and we all agreed this has to be one of our brunch spots from now on. It was a wonderful and unexpected meal that knocked it out of the park. I'd easily put this in my top five brunch spots in the area and I'd recommend it to anybody.

You could never go wrong with a breakfast burrito, but this one is one of my favorites! I like how there's a hint of crunch from the hash brown inside of the burrito and everything melts so well altogether. The cinnamon matcha is definitely up in my top 10! It's sweet, smooth, and a cozy drink. I would make sure to stir the drink so the kick of the cinnamon spice won't hit the back of your throat too hard. The banana matcha wasn't too strong on the banana flavor and did a great job balancing with the matcha. It's a great addition to the summer menu!

Drinks: Hear me out, stick to their signature curated house lattes which is where they uniquely shine - Blue Hummingbird latte and Spanish Dark latte. The iced Hummingbird latte had blue spirulina and a mellow pandan flavor (kinda marshmallow taste). That's my repeated order until last time I tried the Spanish Dark latte with an added espresso shot. That Spanish latte took the crown, which carried me through whole day plus the cinnamon / vanilla duo was the correct touch of sweetness. I always get almond milk as alternative. These lattes are distinct from other locations focus on their espresso drinks. Food: I order their breakfast burritos which they give you an option of sunny side or scramble eggs. I prefer the classic breakfast burrito (no pork). It can compete with Coffee Dose and Herb & Ranch. Also, I gave soyrizo breakfast burrito a chance but a little too spicy in the morning for my tummy. Classic breakfast burrito to go with a Spanish Dark latte is my new favorite match. Service: I wanted to test the service for my own assessment after reading reviews. Honestly everyone was easygoing and about their work. Drinks and food came out fast which employees even gave utensils with greetings. Also they validated our parking no problem too. Ambiance: It reminds me of a hotel dinner lobby which tracks since it's a corporate Irvine building. I would ideally come here to write for change of location with their abundance seating. Small aside but their glass mason jar for water is cute

I had ordered a breakfast burrito with their bacon and their signature latte with almond milk. Their burrito was very fresh and hot! There are tater tots inside with delicious cheese.
