So I did and played on my phone, while my husband looked at cars. The girl that starts with a Pearl was very rude after me waiting for two persons inside at the desk and two outside on each side of me waiting in chairs went in, I then was alone. Before this A girl came out of the office and looked at me and said your neck and I said no I'm not, turned to the girl next to me and said you're next. A new person from the outside came in asked me if I was waiting to be helped and I said yes! so she sat down and waited. Pearl came out after being rude earlier and took her instead of me. I Said wait I'm next. No you're not. And Pearl took her. Inside the gentleman Ramon was very, very helpful and told me if I ever came back he would make it up to me. I assumed he was the manager, but now after talking to Adam, the manager who let him go instead of her that was the reason he didn't reprimand her front of me. I had to call back after the rental and again he was very kind and I did make a review on the Hertz app. I waited to make this one so I could be calm and I had other things more important. This girl besides taking her first when I told her inside the office again you know I came first , she just laughed and said no you weren't. I turned to the other girl and I said you know I was here first and they both giggled. I don't know if they knew each other. And it had already been a bad day, so I didn't need her attitude, but I didn't yell and I didn't cuss good for me. More giggles, but not important. Again, When I left all I could say was shame on you, but that's our new generation. The girl sitting there knew I was first also. Shame on both of them No wonder though you have a two star. You let the guy who could keep a customer calm and explain things very nicely and a girl who could laugh and preferred to wait on a young girl like herself or who she knew I don't know instead, makes no sense but again that's probably why you have a two star rating, Mr. Adam. Best of luck to Hertz rental. I don't know that I will ever come back. State Farm referred me to enterprise and I chose once again to pick Hertz, but this is how I was treated. Even though we were told this, at that time their tiny lot was completely full of cars to the extent that they were having difficulty moving them around. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for a car to arrive. The office was very cold - employees said they have no control over the temp. The whole time we were waiting, other customers were coming in to complain about their rentals and fighting extra charges they had received. When the car they were bringing finally arrived they said they needed to clean it. They gave it to us soaking wet still and smelled like marijuana smoke inside. I hope to never come back here again.

Basically all of that would be impossible without the key that they claimed I lost. They still sent me to collections. So I call AVIS and suddenly they have no record of charging me, no record of sending me letters, no record of a damage claim. So now I have to call and dispute with Viking Client Services which they immediately closed the account and ceased any further collection activity. Finally, the issue is resolved. Oh apparently Rachel is the owners daughter who another reviewer said smokes in the car. Andy who checked the car in proved to be just another shady character pulling off this stunt. I've met the owner several times too. Apparently they're all dishonest POS. I remember all their faces well.

I reserved a uhaul truck in Moreno valley Calif on Sunnymead two weeks in advance when I got there…read more that Saturday I was told They didn't have the truck or the trailer I needed to tow my car so they sent me miles away to Riverside after trying to get me to drive 30 miles to Hemet California to pick up a 26 foot truck when I only needed a 24 foot truck when I got to riverside the 26 foot truck was there but there were no keys so Saturday was a bust and I had to pay movers for their wasted time I went back Sunday and discovered they charged my credit card $286 that Saturday so Sunday I didn't have enough left on my card because I had took most out for cash. They said they don't take cash which turned out to be a lie when I called the1- 800 Number so my daughter had to come down there and use her credit card. It took them all day to get me a truck and a trailer so I wasn't able to move Sunday,Monday packed everything up get on the freeway to San Diego 20 minutes later light comes on no gas I have to pull off the freeway me a 70 year old woman driving a 26 foot truck by myself with my car on a trailer to a gas station when I finally get to San Diego I unload the truck take it to the place they told me to,to drop the truck and trailer off at and was told they don't take trucks that big or trailers so I'm given a new address miles away when I dropped off the truck the place was closed I refused to put another drop of gas in that truck and they received their truck in excellent condition like they gave it to me and they had the nerve to charge my daughters card $186 more for late fees and no gas after they assured me, they wouldn't charge her because of the inconvenience they caused me SHAME ON you U-Haul give my daughter here money back I think refusing to accept my cash was a racist move because a white guy before me pay cash and there was no issue but when I wanted to pay cash I was told straight out they don't accept cash until I called the 1-800 number and the lady told them over the phone that's not true but by that time my daughter had come down and paid for me with her credit card because she and her husband were trying to get on a flight to Florida, so they not only inconvenienced me, they inconvenienced my family and then don't wanna man up and take responsibility. I was so tired and fatigued. I've found this to be true whether they are backed up with customers at the end of the week, or the lot is full of cars on a Monday or Tuesday. I greatly appreciate their service.

The guy there was absolutely awful, so old and rude to everyone, and wore a backwards LA cap.Tried marking up their online quote by $50.00 so I just booked online. He demanded I give him my insurance policy number when I declined his insurance, which no rental agency ever does. Then, continues to try and push selling his crap car rental insurance, despite his horrendous attitude and angry miserable face. Then, doesn't list all the scratches, dents, damages I see on the vehicle. He said just if it's major. I told him I'm going to take a video and pictures of this vehicle so you don't charge me for this. He said yea that's fine. Car smelled like smoke when I got in, and it was filthy inside and out. I don't think it was cleaned after the last person rented it. I only went here because enterprise was out of cars, and I couldn't make it to the airport car rentals which are always a better experience. I will exclusively go to airport rentals from now on.
