I just wanted to say Dr Ryan is the best, he is very caring and professional. I had two deliveries with Dr Ryan 2019 and 2022. All natural delivery because of Dr Ryan. He patiently waited for both of my kids to come out, never rushed once to have c section. I am truly grateful. My kids are thriving. Dr. Is the best. He has been my doctor for yrs but Call center answering receptionist name Arevik is the worse. She needs to be fired due to doesn't know how to talk to patient . If she doesn't like her job she doesn't have to do it. She needs to go go work somewhere that matches her attitude (rude and unprofessional). Best Dr I have ever seen. He was able to give me a health VBAC after wrongly given a c-section by Armine Ghazarian who literally pushed my 1st baby back inside my body to do c-section because she was in a rush (nightmare dr). He did everything to give me the vaginal birth I wanted and listened to me and didn't give up on me even thou (unlike my 1st child) I was overly exhausted with my 2nd while pushing. He is a God send!!! Going back for baby #3 with him. I saw a few comments on people complaining about bedside manner, I had no issues at all here, but I'm not overly sensitive... go see Dr Ghazarian, she had great personality while performing Satin's style delivery. Also took my newborn baby away from me and had everyone including staff ignore me while crying for 3 hours that I want my baby. Dr Lee if you want a healthy pregnancy, labor, and delivery! read more

Best doctor period!! Dr. Lee has delivered both my kids (5 and 1) and has made it such a good and easy experience. Even during covid, he was checking in and made sure everything continued as planed. DONT GO HERE! This office is an actual joke. Not professional at all the front desk is unprofessional and joking around not working. I waited almost 2 hours to see Dr Ryan Lee and when I saw him and complained he said he had 26 other patients to see today, as if that is my issue. He told me he's been awake since 3 am, which as an OBGYN, that's literally his job, how's that my problem? I'm not sure if he wanted me to feel bad for him but waiting 2 hours was inconsiderate and unprofessional. The Dr is very unprofessional and rude. Also to add he could not spell "testosterone" which I should've taken as my first red flag and ran out that office. He then ordered me the incorrect test, which gave me my second sign to leave that office immediately. He gave me a urine sample which was useless, since they needed a blood test. I did not trust him with any of my results since he couldn't even order the proper test, I could never trust this dr with a correct result to be given to me. I will definitely be changing my dr and never returning to this office again. Very rude, unprofessional and unorganized. He told me that we're short on staff since the pandemic, which does not give them reason for me to sit in this office for 2 hours. If you are short on staff do not give me an appointment. Dr. Ryan was my OB back 2013 with my first child. He is absolutely passionate about helping mommies to have healthy baby while making sure the mothers are also healthy. He is very knowledgeable and although he is a guy he makes his patients comfortable by being professional about his job explaining treatments/procedure beforehand and letting patients ask their questions and concerns. DON'T GO to this doctor. Let me tell you why. 1. Unprofessional staff, they make appointments and then mysteriously forget that they gave you the appointment. They are moody, ghetto, jealous, racist etc.. It's very bizarre. 2. SO WATCH the staff, THEY may try to sabotage you or your health, so whatever they say always do your own fact checking. 3. DR. LEE. well this is what he does; he is supposed to have an exchange (another physician) but he puts himself ON CALL -- in baby deliveries across the street AT the hospital so he can CASH IN. so guess what happens when he does that, if you have an appointment and you have been waiting for hours, his staff tells you "oh Dr. Lee had to go to deliver a baby so you can go home or stay and wait for him" So he is SO GREEDY, unfriendly and unprofessional that he does not want to hire another physician to cover for him while he makes extra CASH. And meanwhile you loose your own working time for Dr. Lee. 4. YOU WAIT for 2 hours and see him for only 5 minutes. He does not want you to ask questions, he gets moody and speeds you up. The long waiting is done to make you feel that when you pay $ 300.00 or when he bills your insurance and you get a large bill, you won't say "Oh he only saw me for 5 minutes and charged $ 300.00.." Im blessed with our only child and not planning on having more kids any day soon since I still haven't slept once in the past three years, but if it means I get to hang with Dr Lee I might consider IVF and try getting pregnant again. In all seriousness, I had a very painful pregnancy with a few unexpected difficulties, but his calm, gentleness and professionalism helped put me at ease and gave me strength. He is so caring and knowledgeable, he reassured my husband and I that our child will be receiving the best care possible. He supported all my decisions, and made sure I was looked after too. In another end, Queenscare still does suck obviously, but it's ok, I'll keep seating 4 hours after my appointment time while getting asked to arrive 2 hours before it or they won't see me, and I'll keep smiling at the mean lady at the desk and the condescending one on the phone if it means I have him as my doctor. And look at me writing a glowing review about my OB/GYN. Fun world. read more

DR LEE gets 5 Stars for being an amazing Dr. He is now the only Dr left who will agree to do a VBAC and do everything in his power to make it a successful one. Delivered my son yesterday Vaginal Birth after Cesarean... wasn't easy. Had gone in for 39 week appointment and he noticed the water around him was extremely low, did light membrane sweep as I was already in early stages of labor. Came straight to hospital where he allowed me to walk and jump on my ball freely up until epidural (to self induce labor to progress natutally). Baby was in head up position and was difficult to get out and I had became extremely exhausted and instead of forcing csection like other drs. He had me push until baby was in safe position to be vacuumed out. Healthy baby boy, no rupture, and just a few little stiches. Now I can deliver vaginally if I choose to have 3rd! read more

Finding a new doctor is always tough. You never know what your doctor is going to be like until you meet him/her. If you're pregnant, you're looking for a doctor you can trust and depend on at any moment. I was left in a limbo position (by my original PCM) with NO OB care from my 32nd week to 38th week! My original doctor screwed up big time. I was supposed to get a referral to see a female doctor near where I was staying. He for some reason didn't know how to fill out the proper referral form. I went with what he had (he wrote on his prescription pad: refer to Dr. Alice Yun), took it in to the OB's office and found it wasn't a valid form of referral, and if I saw her with that, I'd have to pay all the fees. That mistake was discovered at 34 weeks, I called my insurance, asked what the proper form was, PRINTED it out, WALKED it over to my original doctors office...FILLED IN AS MUCH INFO for him as possible...stressed the urgency of getting it turned in, ...long story short, the office staff messed up 3 more times. In the end, it turned out he filled in the form incorrectly, referring me back to himself. In the end, I had enough of Dr. Plance, called my insurance company, asked about any way to get around this referral system, was told that I could find an OB who IS a PCM and then I wouldn't need a referral. I really wanted a female OB but there wasn't one who 1) wasn't taking new patients(???) or 2)wasn't a PCM. After looking over reviews of the male doctors, I chose Dr. Lee. I wasn't sure if it was a good decision but I was 37 weeks + few days, and they were willing to see me in 2 days. By then, I was 38 weeks, he checked on the baby via ultrasound, said the baby was still doing ok, I received care, and left happy. When I originally went in, I was kind of nervous wondering if I chose a "wrong" doctor. Someone else reviewed him said that when he had to leave for a delivery, he just announced to everyone to leave and come back on another day. ...that would have been the last thing that i needed. Anyways, it isn't. I'll tell you how I know. It's not unusual to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour for an appointment but once, after I had my baby and went in for another appointment, I ended up waiting CLOSE TO 2 HOURS. The first half hour or so, patients were called in (to get weighed and wait in a room, but after that, the stopped calling people in. People were just sitting in the waiting room. Finally, about 15-20 minutes before I was called in, they started calling people back in. My best guess, during that time when he wasn't calling patients in, he went over to the main hospital to deliver a baby. ***If that were the case though, I wish they would have told us so we knew what was going on. A LOT of pluses for this doctor: + his office is SO close to the hospital, he can walk over when you're ready to deliver. + his waiting room is clean + he gives you his contact info so you can email him ANY TIME and he'll call back within a few hours. he'll call back faster if it's an emergency. + he LIVES close to the hospital so if you're worried about suddenly going into labor, rest assured, he'll get there quickly. some negatives: -you have to pay for parking. Normally, it's $2 hour BUT if you're seeing him, go to the ladies at the front desk and ask to buy a parking sticker. They will sell it to you for $1. Or if he fills out a prescription for you and you get it filled out at the pharmacy in the next building (first floor), the pharmacy will give you a free parking sticker (but you have to remember to ask). - wait time can get long. -he sees patients in the order they come in. So go in earlier than your set appointment time. -the ladies who answer the phone...well, lets just say that when they put you on hold, they sometimes FORGET that they put you on hold. My advice: if you've been on hold for more than 5 minutes, hang up and call again. He has many people there answering phones so you'll probably end up getting someone else anyways. so for those negatives, I had to knock off a star. Great doctor = great experience. Ladies, this is the doctor you want caring for you during your pregnancy and delivering your little bundle of joy. =) ...see, if there are good doctors, I'll leave good reviews for them! read more

Besides a friendly office staff and excellent and careful care, Dr. Lee charges a ridiculously low amount for his services. As a cash patient, he charged us one flat rate for our entire prenatal care and delivery, then went to bat for us when he thought the hospital was charging us too much for their delivery fee. While I'm in the mood for writing reviews, let me start by praising Dr. Lee! He is wonderful. The staff was great, too! Always had a great time chatting it up with Sandra while taking my vitals during my pregnancy. Dr. Lee is professional, attentive and understanding. He made me feel very comfortable and happy with my last pregnancy, which will also be my very last one. During every visit he was very friendly to me, as well as my husband and daughter. I had a not so great 1st and 2nd trimester experience the doctor who took prenatal care of my first daughter and myself. Naturally, I was nervous to see what kind of doctor I had signed up for when I first called to make an appointment. It was definitely the best choice I could've made. I had a previous c-section with my toddler so when it came time to discuss options, Dr. Lee was very clear and helpful as to what my choices and risks factors were for delivery. He also fulfilled my request to have my tubes tied and made me feel safe about it. The day of my surgery came (3/17) and he prioritized me 100%. He and his team of wonderful doctors took excellent care of me during surgery. I woke up from surgery and heard the soft cry of my little girl and was just so thankful for Dr. Lee. I recommend him 100%. He's just the best! read more

Ok this review is for the office only. Dr Lee is a good doctor. He's good at what he does. I like him very much. He's not the type of doctor who would chit chat with you. He would get right to the point and would only answer your question scientifically. Some people can perceived it as he's being cold, but I don't mind that at all. His assistant Sandra is so sweet and nice. She's also a reason why I really like this office. BUT.... (Again I have to say it's not about the doctor) I been coming here for my pregnancy more 10+ times now. Not even once that I spent less than 3 hours at this office. The wait is ridiculously long. Normal wait time is 1-2 hours in the waiting room, another 1-1.5 hour in the exam room. Every time I keep telling myself maybe it would be better next time. But it never did. Only the wait alone make me not wanna come back here. I have to take half day off from my work every time. Sometimes when I come in the doctor isn't even here. The front desk isn't being helpful at all. One time I made appointment for the first patient of the day. I was the 2nd patient at the office that day. I have read some reviews said that he would see patient in order they came in. But that wasn't the case for me. I came in 2nd but I was still seen after other people who came after me, and that was 3 hours wait. I don't get the system here. What's the point of making an appointment here? When they keep putting other people in front of you. I'm very close to delivery now it makes me concern how long will they make me wait, what if I'm in pain? What if it's an emergency? The waiting room is always over crowded. Sometimes there are a bunch of sick kids in there even there's a sign telling you to reschedule appointment if you are sick. The office should take care of this because there are a lot of pregnant women who do not wanna get sick here. Sitting in a small waiting room for many hours with sick people just make me nervous. People need to respect rules and etiquette here. There's also a huge sign saying "No Food or Drinks" but the patients and relatives still came in with food to eat like no body business. read more

Dr Lee did my OB care when I was pregnant back in 2003. Such a great dr. Took his time to answer all my questions and I had a lot of them! His staff was friendly. He explained all the tests that were being done and why. That is why when I got pregnant again in 2010, there was no other choice for me, Dr Lee was going to be my doctor again! I have always received the greatest treatment in Doctor Ryan Lee's office from him. He's been always there for me to answer my questions any time even during the weekend. I've always gotten the most complete and simplest and understandable way of explanation of every one of the question I've had; and no matter how many times I've emailed Dr. Lee he responded me very quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Ryan Lee. I have been seeing him for 12 yrs now. I had my 1st baby in 2007 and just had my 2nd daughter 10/2012. The attention that I have received for my care both Ob and Gyn have been amazing and very professional. He is very patient and gentle thru his exams. He goes over your results by phone and email, if you have questions about anything and he doesn't have the answer he will go the extra mile to try and get the answer for you. Yes there is a wait in the new office due to 4 other doctors there as well, obviously sharing space It is hard to get an appointment right away but I feel the reason why is due to so many patients and limited space. He accepts most insurances as well as cash, this does not make him Greedy....if he was, he would not accept Medi-Cal patient's! Medi-Cal pays very little for the hard work and time he puts with each and every patient! (I only know this because I have referred many of my family members and friends and they all have different types of insurance/payment options) which they have all said Nothing But Great Things about Dr.Lee. Regarding the staff, I feel they are overworked and overwelhmed....but that's where administration should be involved to make things run smooth and organized. Yet I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff I have dealt with. They should have a suggestion box, where you can leave input. In reference to "Linda's comment", I totally disagree. Please understand if you choose an "OB/GYN" as your doctor, chances are you will be interrupted during your visit, due to the fact that "babies do not have a schedule when to be born..." This is one of the reason's why I chose Dr.Ryan Lee to be my OB doctor, he attends 95% of his deliveries. (Yes I did do my research before picking a doctor). Dr. Lee delivered my baby boy on Saturday July 13th and I must say he's a awesome physician, after having 3 previous babies and 3 different physicians my experience with Dr. Lee has been by far the Best. As for the other review of how Dr. Lee is so Greedy I do not understand how someone can not appreciate that he is welling to be there for you at anytime to delivery your child. I could not imagine going to see my physician for 9 months and he either does not delivery my baby or if I have a appointment he have someone else see me, that's a waste of time to call him your physician if you want him to have other people cover for him. None of my appointments have ever been only 5min. I was always checked very thoroughly and none of my appointments with any of my children have ever been long during my third trimester and that should make you happy because that just mean your healthy and everything is going fine so if you want someone who is hands on with his patients you have to give a little time and you will get a lot from this physician, someone that's there for you as well as all of the other patients that he have to see everyday. read more
