In my opinion there is no other SANE way to buy a used RV than to purchase from RVMAX! In the state of Caifornia a used RV dealership must guarantee that everything is in working condition when you purchase it. RVMAX goes farther than that. If you find something wrong after the purchase let them know and they will take care of it. They want to have the best reputable used RV business in the area and they protect that reputation! They WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! I was about to purchase from a private owner. When he moved the RV a huge gush of water began to leak out from the underneath membrane all along the seam! Ask yourself "What guarantee do you have 2 miles down the road after purchasing from a private owner?" ANYTHING could be wrong and you now have to pay to fix it yourself! I got lucky and didn't purchase that RV. That owner told me he sold it 2 hours later to someone else! (Sorry if that was you.) After that experience, I went straight to RVMAX and made a purchase. Once the RV was at my location I noticed one of the walls was spongy and able to be pushed in. I called RVMAX and they came to my location and transported my RV over 20 miles back to their shop, rebuilt the wall and transported the RV back to my location all at their expense. They also apologized that they did not catch the wall's condition earlier. I have nothing but good things to say about the owner Mike, his daughter Jenna, his brother Gary, my salesman Walt, Susan in the office, Nathan the guy who rebuilt the wall, Ray at their Loomis location and even the transporter, Bud, who helped cut some trees that were in the way at my location! These people still have the old fashioned customer service, compassion, and integrity we all are looking for and is so scare these days. RV shopping can be more daunting and unpleasant than car shopping. I had been visiting dealers throughout the Sacramento area over the last several months looking for a quality late model travel trailer. Of all the dealerships RVMAX stood far above the rest. The helpful sales guys at the Loomis location, Tom and Ray, were a pleasure to work with. No sales pressure or attitude, just regular folks trying to help you get the rig of your dreams. In February and March I was there twice a week looking at new arrivals and giving second looks to others I had seen. Tom and Ray were always friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. Once my wife and I decided on a beautiful Keystone Cougar 27RLWSE we were introduced to Jenna who researched our best financing opportunities. She was very honest and nothing was pushed upon us. Later on we met Mike the owner and we couldn't have imagined meeting a better guy who values his customers, his employees, and his neighbors. Our new trailer was meticulously inspected and prepared for our pre-delivery inspection and orientation. Nathan walked us through a thorough inspection and test of all systems and appliances. We had pre-printed a 13 page pre-delivery inspection checklist and he addressed everything on it and more. Once we were satisfied he stayed late to install a new weight distributing hitch that we had purchased elsewhere. He perfectly adjusted everything to matchup my truck and the new Cougar. Just before we drove off the lot Mike invited us into his office just to talk with us as neighbors. He gave us his personal cell phone number and asked us to call if we ever had any questions or problems no matter how small. Our experience with RV Max has been excellent. From a family atmosphere and no pressure sales, closing the paperwork without stress, and follow up afterwards when we got our trailer home and found some issues. We first went by there as we were cruising through several different lots looking for a used RV. Kyle was kind and easygoing, even though it was the holiday and I imagine closing in on year-end numbers. No stress or pressure. Thank you, Kyle. We returned after the holiday and our favorite RV was still there. Closing the deal was easy and friendly. Thank you, Jenna. We had a chance to tell them we met the owner's brother up in Auburn, and just as friendly, recommended his brother Mike's lot. It has taken us a while to tinker around with the RV and found just this weekend it has some issues, normal stuff for a unit that has been sitting there for a while, but we are newbies at this. He was able to diagnose the electrical issues of the space we were plugging into - not the trailer, and pointed out some plumbing issues we didn't even know were there. He was helpful and willing to not just fix, but teach us as well. He probably saved our home! Thank you, Nathan! (read this review to the end) If I could give these guys six stars I would. Everyone knows about used car salesmen and I would have assumed that used RV lots might be the same, not here!!! Generally when you buy a used vehicle you get what you get. That's not the case with Mike and his team. This is the first time I've bought an RV from a sales lot. I always believed in buying from private sellers. When we pulled into the lot it was because we saw a really cute camper while going down the freeway and thought it would be nice just to see it. Ray was such a great guy, lots of good information and not at all trying to "sell" me on it leaving us alone to look it over. One thing that impressed me was that he told us if we bought it we couldn't pick it up for several days because their tech Nathan would need to go through all systems and make sure everything was perfect. I bought it. Now the really great part. A few months after buying it I had some issues, a few minor ones and a few major ones. I started making plans to fix everything but Katie said, "take it back to RV max". Of course I said "it's a used camper, they're not gonna fix it"! But I called Mike and without hesitation he said "bring it in, we'll take care of it". They had it for a month and not only fixed everything I had noticed but Nathan went through everything and replaced a few things he thought should be done. It would have cost me thousands!!! Wow!!! I want to say how happy my wife and I are with the 5th wheel we purchased from RVMAX. We searched several different RV dealers but just couldn't find the trailer that met our needs. We finally found it at RVMAX. From the beginning and throughout the whole process, Mike and his staff went out of their way to answer all our questions (and we had a bunch of them lol...) We had been searching for a smaller travel trailer and after visiting several different dealerships, we found RV Max in Rocklin. From the first visit on, we received excellent customer service from Mike, the owner and everyone on his sales and repair staff. They are very knowledgeable and clear about explaining any aspects of the different units we were looking at. Absolutely phenomenal service, in every way! We have searched seriously for a travel trailer for months (years on and off). Kyle at RvMax in Rocklin was about the only honest salesman we came across, absolutely top notch character and knowledge! This dealership stands behind what they sell! The ONLY place we found that didn't suddenly tack on a $2000 dollar "Camp Ready" fee to get the trailer ready for you to use (looking at you - Camping World). It's been hard to find a small travel trailer. We went to RVMax because we could see it from the freeway. RVMax had a good selection of trailers, and we were easily able to find just what we wanted, no hard sell. Unfortunately, when we got it home, I discovered some dry rot in a corner. I called RVMaxx, and they took it in right away, fixed the dry rot, including some structural damage, fixed some additional structural under the bed, and had it back to me before my first planned trip. Don't let anyone tell you these guys don't stand behind their sales! They did this work even though I didn't have any warranty. They made good where they had no requirement other than to make a happy customer. read more

We bought our 2012 Trail Sport 21 ft RV from RV Max two years ago. It was a very good value. The RV Max staff, Tom and Jenna were awesome. They have been there for us 2 times since the purchase. They replaced a battery that went bad free of charge almost a year after purchase. They have grown into a new location and now offer more services in Loomis. Recently we had them do a check up for a long trip. We had a complaint about the service. Mike the owner made it right.
