This company is awesome. Our experiences here were great these past two years. They helped us with our Grand Design problems. We wanted the trailer to be Dry Camp ready. They suggested more solar, more batteries and we ended up changing solar controller. we also had them update our suspension. They repaired our roof when we hit a limb. We will go to them for all our trailering needs. They have a stocked store, knowledgable help and rentals. read more

First time using Affordable RV. We live just eight minutes away so it was a no-brainer choice for the 2022 camper van we have. Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash. They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work. read more

Well, another over the top service by this wonderful shop and it's over the top friendly, knowledgeable group of employees! I have been using Affordable RV for all my service needs for my class A Newmar Motorhome since January 2018. General service, new equipment installs, etc. getting my new tow vehicle ready for towing my new trailer. Fantastic service! Dora and her crew have it down. I needed to sell my motorhome this year to make room for my new trailer, I contacted Eric in the sales department to check on their consignment program. Seemed like a good way to sell my coach. It was, Eric had it sold in about 40days. If you're in the need of repairs, upgrades to your RV, purchase of a new one, or selling your existing RV try them out! Hopefully they will be able to give you the over the top service I have experienced over the last 7 years. Roger H. Orangevale ca. read more

The owners are not nice and treat their employees badly. I would avoid coming here if you want honest work done for you. They also lie about their prices. read more

Great staff, very friendly and knowledgable. Easy to communicate with and very trustworthy. All aroubd great experience.

Made an appointment and brought my RV in for upgrade of the trailer's suspension system. They had no problem with me bringing my own purchased parts to use. Gave me a completion date of a week or so later, but called a day later to say that the technician "jumped on it" and my trailer was ready to go. Double thumbs up for Affordable RV, they've now got my business for any work I might need!! read more

10 Star. If given the option, I would rate this company a 10 star plus. Not only did they fix the laundry list of miscellaneous items that we discovered were wrong with our newly purchased (used) RV but we had a little mishap, and they were SO accommodating and helpful in making things right. We live over 80 miles away but this is the only place that we will take our RV's (and we have had a few). From Dora to Dessen to Steven and all the others that we encountered at Affordable we thank you and continue to be life long customers!!! Thank you!!! read more

When the slide out failed on our Lance 1995, I called Affordable RV Repair. The first open appointment was several weeks out, but because of their overall positive reviews, I decided to book the appointment and wait patiently. After the initial assessment, the prognosis was not good. A week later what the tech at first suspected was confirmed: we needed to replace the entire slide out mechanism. The parts were ordered and the repair completed. What impressed me most about the service we received was the responsiveness of the staff. If I asked to have the tech call me, he did. When I asked for an update on when the parts were to be delivered, the parts department called me. Whenever I had a question, I called and received a cheerful answer. Unlike many other businesses where one department seems to have little communication with another, Affordable RV Repair has everyone on speed dial. Although it probably means that I will wait even longer for my next appointment as new customers reach out to Affordable RV Repair for their service needs, I must give this business my highest recommendation. read more

Amazing personnel. Everyone is helpful and kind. Very easy to do business with. My rv is back in operating order.

YELP must give more stars that can be awarded for exception service. We have enjoyed the quality (save our butts) repairs and additions that Affordable RV has offered for so many years. We have had our MotorHome, Travel Trailers, 5th Wheel and now our newest Lance serviced by Affordable. Dora, Brittany, Madison and Wes (Tech with many more years of knowledge then his age) are so totally awesome!!! Incredibly prompt and helpful and wonderful problem solvers. Can't say enough positive complements about this crew. I agree with another reviewer, that this positive review may bring in more customers and thus put me in a longer line for service, but the Folks at Affordable RV are so worth it. Thank you again...Dora, Madison, Brittany and Wes read more

During the busiest part of the season I made an appt to have a 5th wheel trailer inspected. The drop off was easy and the walk thru was detailed. Great communication and I will be happy to bring my RV in if I need any service in the future. Can't wait to use it camping! read more

I had a very challenging repair trying to diagnose. Electrical issue with my trailer brakes. A previous shop, who were also excellent, tried three times with no luck. They are also over an hour away and a friend recommended Affordable RV which was much closer to home. The reception staff was all very friendly. I had Maddie as my service advisor. She was very friendly and kept me up to date on my repair. When I needed to bring it back because the issue was not resolved, she offered me an immediate appointment even though the shop was booked out for weeks. Very accommodating throughout the whole process. Dason, I probably misspelled his name, was the manager or lead technician I believe. Dason became familiar with my brake issue and was very understanding. I know these issues can sometimes be difficult to diagnose. On my final visit, and being frustrated at the issue, not the shop, Dason finally figured out where the problem was and as of now, I think the repair is successful. On top of the service and friendliness of the shop, the repair cost was very reasonable in my opinion. You pay for better service and better technicians. I'm willing to do that. Thank you Affordable RV, I'll be back but hopefully for easier routine maintenance items rather than a difficult repair. read more

Recently I was searching for wheel bearings for my boar trailer . I searched all the auto parts stores in Auburn with no luck at all . I was about to give up when I stopped in their store . Awesome customer service today. Needed a small part and Lisa stepped right in and problem solved like a boss.

Affordable RV repair was courteous and prompt in their repair. RV repairs do cost money, but I didn't feel gouged, I felt like I was treated fairly for parts and labor. They check in the RV and take time to listen to your concerns, they give a pre-work estimate and a good itemized detail of the work performed and when you pick it up, you pay and they show you the repairs and you drive off! It was a great experience. I was kinda chill when I mentioned we didn't need the RV back for a month or so, but they promptly got it back to me in two weeks and we're on top of reaching out to me for any additional work and approval. I was very pleased. Now I get to enjoy nice trips with the family. read more

The service office staff (Talia, Middie, Bridget) and the two technicians (Dave & Panden) that did most of the inspection work were over-the top friendly, fun to be with and definitely created the "family" atmosphere with competence, great communication and courtesies. My good friend, Mike, recommended these folks as he has had over 10 years experience using their services !! Ya go where it's all about the customer !! Thanx Affordable !!! read more

Lemke at Affordable RV's is a outstanding guy. He genuinely wants to share his knowledge that people need to make an informed decision when choosing an RV to purchase. I definitely feel comfortable with him and I'm sure he will make your experience with Affordable RV's a great one. read more

Working with Eric there has been very pleasant, Very friendly and trustworthy. Honest communication. Thank you.

This place is great. They installed our tow package on RV and the TOAD. We will continue to go to them for all service needs. Doing business with De Martini up the road was painful. Worst customer serve ever. Terrible service manager. We are so glad to have found Affordable. Their office staff is very helpful and responsive and answers all our questions with a smile. read more

Took my trailer in for some warranty work. Signed my paperwork for $xx.00 for repairs. Upon pickup of my RV, I was shocked to see that the bill had more than doubled. I was never notified of extra charges and therefore refused to pay them. All it would have taken was a phone call and they know it. I had to threaten starting a case with the BAR before they would drop the charges. This is a horribly disgusting tactic and NOT legal. The only positive thing that came from this experience with them was the tech was able to fix my rig. Will NEVER do business there again. Nothing like getting guilt tripped by someone when they screw up and try to make it out like it's your fault. Bad business practices right here read more

Purchased a new travel trailer about 3 months ago from Affordable RV. Found the trailer on an online ad and sent an email on a Sunday when they were closed and Eric being the company man he is answered the ad and we made the deal by email on his day off. Hard to find employees like that anymore The whole deal from start to finish was excellent. So I waited to do the review until after I had my first thing that needed to be repaired under warranty that's usually when you find out how good a place is. I made the appointment with Eric to go over my warranty concerns he ordered everything within a couple weeks everything was there he chased me down to do the repairs and took care of everything the same day because I traveled from quite a ways away. The reason I'm so happy with Affordable RV and Eric is the fact that I bought a large motorhome from the large dealer in West sac that we all know who it is it was probably the worst experience with service and warranty and repair that I've ever had. Even though these dealers are busy during the pandemic this affordable. took care of everything and we're very pleasant to deal with. I would recommend affordable RV and Eric to everybody that I know thank you very much guys read more
