    We purchased a factory ordered new 2025 new 2619FK Rockwood Ultralite travel trailer and the customer service thru the whole process couldn't be better. Eric was very reachable thru email and phone to get updates and questions even after we picked up the trailer and brought it home. We couldn't be happier with the service and product.

    We rented a 24 foot class C standard motor home for our trip to Crater Lake, OR over the Labor Day weekend. Although we were able to enjoy our Very first RV trip there were a couple of anxiety producing events and disappointments. So the day that you pick up RV you need to arrive at 2:30 for instruction and tutorial of RV and operations. We videoed the tech and suggest you do since he goes thru it very quickly and it's good to have as reference during your trip. So problem one was refrigerator was not cold upon pick up and tech said to plug it in when we got home and give him a text. It was nice that he provided his cell number as my husband troubleshooted with him throughout the evening and still no cold fridge. As it got later my husband decided to flip switch to gas as one last effort then went to purchase a huge cooler and ice blocks to load our fridge items. Ok so Next morning fridge was cold, yay! But since we already spent on a cooler and ice we decided to pack it anyway just in case fridge went out. We arrived safely at campsite and friends helped us hook up sewer hose and electric. Problem two was discovering there was a leak at connector of black water hose. This means any black/ gray water would leak on campground upon emptying. Luckily our camp had a nice brand new bathroom with showers and we opted to use those toilets for to avoid spilling black water on site. Problem 3: our oven was not working on the night we planned to bake our dinner. Luckily we were able to use our friends oven. So although there were mishaps we were still able to enjoy our trip with the help of having friends to help us out. The owner of the company has agreed to credit us for 2 days on next rental of at least 4 days. I asked for 2 days credit since the first day of rental is pretty much wasted since you bring the RV home late in afternoon and still need to pack up and by that time it's getting dark. You probably won't be trekking out in the dark. Also the last night of rental that you pay for, your RV sits at home because you need to clean it out that last day before returning RV. So it's really 2 nts you pay for but are not on the road. I must add that customer service was very good and everyone we encountered were friendly and made us feel comfortable renting from them. We hope our next experience will get 5 stars!

    My wife and I bought a class B Van to travel and visit grand kids all of whom live off I 5, L.A. to Portland. The van we purchased was new and unfortunately for us chose this trip to show factory failures. In the Central Valley we learned the A/C did not work. We travelled on to the Roseville, Ca and I contacted several dealer authorized factory repair companies, no help. On my way out of town, at the recommendation from a friend, I stopped at Affordable R.V. They too, were busy but the very pleasant, totally awesome woman that greeted us had one of their technicians take a glance at it. 5 minutes, problem found and fixed. Two weeks later, my wife an I are somewhere in Montana heading for as many National Parks as we can hit. The air is needed, without it we'd be forced into motels. Our gratitude and thanks to all at Affordable RV. Without your help our 44th wedding anniversary epic road trip would have hit the skids!

    Just another of many positive experiences with Affordable RV! I had a idea of checking out another shop, close to Affordable's New Castle location for service on my Chassis when affordable is booked and or can not preform my needed service. ( like a Brake Job on my motorhome). Without going into details of the other shops failures, I can share that Affordable understanding my issues got me in within two weeks, preformed inspections on the other shops work, fixed/replaced a sewer vent cap that the other shop could not do and or understand what was needed! Dora the owner, her head tech Dassen and all of their employees really care, seriously care about their customers. That's hard to find anywhere and even harder to find a RV repair shop that knows what they are doing, care about the customer, and charges fair prices for labor and parts. If your reading this to consider becoming a Affordable customer for service, renting a RV or buying a RV I could not recommend anyone else to try. You will become another one of their Happy Campers if you give them a try!! Roger H. Orangevale ca

Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash.They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator.That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work.

    What an honor and privilege to write a review for RV-Time. Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB…read moreSprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

They found a minor problem with an outer bearing and replaced it. They took pictures, and saved the bearing to show me the problem. Best part with this place is not just the excellent work they do but the communication too. I've heard nightmare stories from friends about other RV repair places/dealerships. Fortunately, I've only brought mine to RV Time and it's exceeded my expectations. If you live anywhere near this place, I'd highly recommend bringing your rig here. Great family owned business.

Finding the right trailer is only part of the process--the rest comes down to communication style, customer service, and making the experience as smooth as possible. From our first phone call, the Basecamp team was responsive, and easy to work with. When we arrived for our appointment, Erica gave us a thorough tour of the trailer and answered all our questions. The trailer was competitively priced, but we had been pre-approved for a specific amount and wanted to be sure everything would fit within our budget. While working with Erica, the owner, Skylar, took the time to come over and introduce himself. While there wasn't a lot of room to negotiate, he wanted to make the deal work and did what he could. We really appreciated that effort. The paperwork was straightforward, and a week later we returned to pick up our trailer. Their technician was thorough and made sure we understood how everything worked. As first-time travel trailer owners, we had a good experience. It was a smooth experience. El Monte, Cruise America, small local renters, and private parties thru Outdoorsy. Our experience with A Family Affair has by far been the best ever! Moses and his wife run a genuine mom and pop shop and have a great passion for their clients. They not only made the rental experience quick and easy, they were a joy to work with. We rented their almost new 2024 Entegra Odyssey 30Z class C. As a new rig, there were a few minor issues that came up. Moses was super helpful and got back to me via phone to help me thru the problems we did have. He was also nice enough to let me park my car in his yard while we were gone, and made the return check in process super easy. I wish I had discovered A Family Affair years ago. I will definitely rent from them again, and highly recommend them!

    I bought replacement seat covers for our gas class A motorhome but decided not to attempt doing it…read moremyself so I searched around for a shop that I could drop off the motorhome and have it done. Moises was outstanding to work with. I explained what I had and what I needed and he said no problem let me give you a quote. Quote was great so we scheduled the work. He called to confirm Friday about what time I would be arriving on Monday. After dropping it off he confirmed when it would be ready. The next afternoon it was done; ahead of schedule and on budget. Got up there to pick it up and the installation was perfect and the interior was clean and everything was in its place. It's been years since I have found this level of customer service and professionalism. I highly recommend them for your upholstery needs.
