Appeared to have been hardly used and although we only went to look, Jay made us such a good deal we couldn't say no, and ended up with a super cool little trailer that we love. Extremely disappointed with this RV consignment company. Communication is nearly nonexistent unless you are in the sales process. There is no reliable way to reach anyone other than email because they do not take phone calls, which makes resolving issues incredibly frustrating. We were told business has been slow and they have reduced staff, but that should not excuse the lack of follow-through or customer service. Once the RV sold, getting updates on our funds became a nightmare. We were repeatedly told "the check is in the mail," yet weeks later nothing arrived and no one proactively followed up. Every update required another email from us because there is no direct communication channel. I signed a contract with Lemke to sell my travel trailer. It did sell but they did not notify me. I found out when I called to check the status. At that time, I gave them a 14-day payoff for the loan against the trailer which was to be paid off by Lemke with the proceeds of the sale. The 14-day pay off expired 2 weeks ago and the loan has not been paid off. Update: Just got off the phone with the bank, Lemke's check bounced. read more

We bought a 2022 Winnebago Solis 59PX from Lemke at the end of May 2025. The rig appeared to be in excellent condition, with low mileage of only about 22k. The price seemed fair - not great, not terrible. The purchase process was fairly clean, with a few notes: 1) Lemke did us a solid by insisting that the seller renew the registration as it expired prior to our official purchase date. 2) the addition on the purchase contract was wrong (even after we had asked for confirmation on the total) and we ended up having to write another check on the spot (mistakes happen), and, 3) when we arrived to receive the vehicle after having paid over $800 for a chassis and house inspection, all we had to show for it was a handwritten checklist for the motor. We were told the mechanic always ran behind and we would get something typed soon but everything was fine. We had no paperwork at all on a coach inspection, so we did our own with one of their employees who said he did not believe anyone had checked it. Together we found a couple of very minor things. One item (rubber cushioning on stove plate) was fixed, another was found (back blk curtain), fluid was topped up, but no shower curtain rod was provided. (They say they will fix anything found missing/broken etc in the inspection process.) So would obviously not recommend spending the money on an in-house inspection with Lemke for any rig that appears to be in very good condition with low mileage. Bottom line: The rig was as promised and we have taken it on several trips since then and we really love it. Note that we had also done a lot of our own research to be sure this was a year and model that people were generally happy with and we would recommend the same. Also note that we still don't have the reg tag for the rig, but we did get the title for it, and Lemke and AAA both assured us that it takes forever with the DMV and fortunately the dealer's temporary ones do not expire. So that's on the DMV, not them. In conclusion, the only area of the process we really thought was pretty sub-par (and a waste of money) was the inspection process. At least we were able to track down the chassis inspector who answered a few detailed questions (he only ended up submitting a short paragraph - so different from any other vehicle inspection we have paid for in the past), and we do have his contact info for the future. read more

The fees have been submitted but the paperwork has not been submitted to the DMV and now I have received a letter from the DMV telling me the temporary registration is no longer valid. Update! Each reservation we had about consigning our toy hauler came true. A) they call months later when selling the trailer to negotiate you down on our portion of the sell price. Reality is they are just negotiating for more money in their court. B) they don't call to notify the trailer is sold in hopes we either forgot or have died since. C) A check is not mailed and no notification is given on how to send you money. When attempting to call they claim they need to "call back because I need to walk over to my manager to get approval". Their office is the size of a master bedroom. It's just a ploy to delay and hopefully forget that you called. 2-stars because they ultimately sold the trailer and paid us more then they negotiated for. SCAM ALERT! We consigned our rv with Lemke August 2024. The rv sold in December and we received our check in January. All good right? Early February we are overdrawn with our bank. There was a stop payment on check. Call Lemke. Stop payment was not supposed to be our check. They apologize and we drive from Napa to Rocklin to pick up another check. Lemke adds $250 for our trouble. All good now!? Nope, we are overdrawn again. Lemke claims since my name was in the banks system Wells Fargo automatically stopped payment. After a few calls with Kristen and Phil, Phil agrees to have someone bring a cashiers check to me on Saturday. Finally issue resolved! Nope!! Lemke employee arrives with a regular check. I take this check to my bank on Monday.They recommend I go to Wells Fargo as that's Lemke's bank and they will issue a cashiers check to me. Nope. Wells Fargo says there's not enough funds in their account! By now it's end of February and after angry phone calls Kristen wants to do a wire transfer. Nope. Doesn't go thru.Kristen says we had reached our monthly wire transfer max for the month! Kristen then promises me itsMarch and the limit resets so it'll go thru now! Nope. Now she is ghosting me. Seller beware! My consigned travel trailer was sold at the end of January by Lemke RV and I am still waiting on payment as of today. The contract that was signed by Lemke RV and myself stated that payment will be issued 20 days after the sale is complete. Lemke RV never called me again after I gave authorization to the final sale price. A month after the sale, I started inquiring to when I would get my check and was always advised, "next week." When I started to push back, I was told by Kristen who is in charge of payments, that a check was mailed, when it was not. Last week, I did receive a check that I was told by Kristen was "good to cash" but was returned rejected by my bank. I went into Lemke RV yesterday to see what I needed to do to get my payment. I was advised that they do not have the funds to pay me right now. I never got a phone call from the owners during this process. This entire situation could have been avoided if there had been honestly and communication. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB and am warning others of my very real experience with Lemke RV 4/5/25Update: I was able to secure a cashiers check today in which I was given an additional $1036.75 above our agreed payout. We bought a used Class C RV from Lemke in April 2023 for our move out of state. It was more than we wanted to spend but I felt reassured because they were going to do a full inspection, which would increase our chances of a successful, trouble free trip. Ha! Their process of viewing and putting a deposit on the vehicle we chose was really shady, we only met our salesperson once in passing, even though he was very clear that the entire sale was his commission. Weird. We should have walked out. When we arrived to pick up the RV and get a walk through, they were behind schedule and we waited for 3 hours. The walk through was rushed and brief and they failed to mention many of the features (which we would then spend hours figuring out ourselves on the road). Then we had a tire blowout in the mid-west and realized that the inside tires (it has dual rear tires) were severely worn, cracked, and as the repair mechanic stated "way overdue" to be changed out. We were really lucky that we didn't have a blow out and/or an accident. And, now the roof is leaking, which was supposed to have been sealed during the inspection. Oh, and we still have not received the title! It's been 5 months, I feel like we will eventually end up in court over this whole thing. We would love to sell it and be done with it before more stuff starts falling apart, but we can't because we don't have the title! What a nightmare. We brought our RV to Lemke RV on consignment on 6/12/24. It sold on 6/29/24 and was driven off the lot by the new owner. We received the proceeds from the sale 7/24/24. Be aware: 1. They say deal will be closed out in 20 days once it sells. They mean 20 business days not days. I guess they mean M-F even though they are open on weekends. 2. We received the proceeds from the sale on 7/24 only because we went and picked up the check. 3. As of today, 7/31/24, our bank loan has not been paid off. Lemke tells me delivery "was delayed." What company doesn't wire money these days? Therefore, I had to make another payment and continue to pay the insurance which is a requirement of the loan, even though we don't own the RV anymore. Stupid! 4. I received nothing in the way of an invoice showing the breakdown of the sale; i.e. consignment price, repairs, how much was sent to bank, etc. I had to call and ask for something. I was emailed something that was typed up in a word document, not any kind of "official" invoice. We have found this whole process to be a frustrating experience because of the lack of transparency and communication and lack of professionalism. I found the buyer, not them, from a Facebook post. The most positive thing I can see is that at least we didn't have to deal with all the DMV paperwork or worry about being scammed by the buyer. But Lemke has had the benefit of the money from the sale of our RV for a month now and it is costing me about $8 a day in interest waiting for them to pay off the loan. Contacted by Susan at Lemke to sell my trailer on consignment. Disclosed all facts with pictures of RV. Explained that previous owner had put a scratch on one side that went from front to rear and sent pictures of that. When asked about the interior and I told them it was spotless and everything worked. The only mar was someone had used tape on some of the cabinets and when the tape was removed it took small spots of the veneer with it. I also told Susan I was uncomfortable signing a power of attorney to them and diving away with no money. In my opinion that is like signing the title and handing it to someone without being paid first. She let me know that she had forwarded my concerns to the team at Lemke (her brother is owner)j. After 3 hour drive upon arrival without even the time to unhitch two employees entered my trailer and within seconds I was told by one off them "we don't want your trailer it is hammerd!!!". I asked what he meant and he claimed I had dry rot and pointed to the small areas where the tape had peeled off some of the veneer. I explained that was not dry rot and the trailer has no dry rot anywhere. He said again " we don't want it its hammered!!!" I turned around and drove the 3+ plus hours home. No gas refund and not even a call from Susan apologizing to me. Very unprofessional. I understand if my rv was not up to their standard but after disclosing everything with pictures and being quoted a fair price plus gas only to be told "it's hammered" was very upsetting. Glad I saved all the texts from Susan as well as recorded phone conversations....it might come in handy. read more

Bought a 2014 Sunseeker in July '24. I was told during the inspection process that the generator required a new fuel pump and I would be delayed picking up the unit for almost 2 weeks. Took delivery and was assured work had been carried out. I used the generator for approx. 2-3 hours while setting the unit up for a cross country move we were making (the reason we purchased the RV). 36 hours before departing on the move, the generator stopped functioning. I attempted to call Lemke but I was met with voicemail. I reached out and secured a last minute appt at the local Cummins distributor (generator manufacturer). The fuel pump Lemke's mechanic put in was not an authorized part and had failed after less than 4 hours of use. I reached out to Lemke again after paying $700 for Cummins to do the last minute repair. I did not hear from Lemke until I left a message stating my intention to file a small claims action and leave negative reviews on any site I could find. They then put me in touch with the mechanic they used for the job who stated he used the part he did because he was told I was taking delivery the next day. Fairly obvious they delayed sending the job to him. He offered to reimburse me for the part and what he charged Lemke for the work. That would have been a fair offer. The problem is they have ghosted me for the last month and have not followed through on making this right. I would avoid this dealership as they only deal with used RV's and, apparently, don't follow through with ensuring proper parts are used or fixing any issues that may arise because of those improper parts. Find a dealership that stands behind their RV's and the work they put in them. This is not it, avoid at all cost. read more

They said they would have someone call me the next day. No one called me, so I called back, they said the check was ready. We just purchased a lightly used jayco whitehawk bunkhouse travel trailer from Lemke. From start to finish the experience was great. The day we arrived we worked with the salesman Mark. He was attentive without being clingy. He gave us our space and answered our questions. He was great throughout the initial paperwork process. Two weeks later and it was time to pick up our travel trailer. We had a 10 am appointment. I recommend an appointment earlier in the day because Lemke took their time to educate us about the systems on our trailer. That combined with the financing and hitching process put us around three hours. We were glad to not be getting home in the evening. Dillon walked us around the trailer and showed us each and every system. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to make sure we knew everything and he answered all our questions. During the walk around I noticed a few items that need to be addressed and Dillon took note of them and they were fixed by the time we were done with financing. Dillon also threw in an extra remote which was very nice. Bill in financing was extremely friendly. He did not try to push any extra products on us. He seemed really knowledgeable of the various credit unions and where to get the best rate. It was a much faster and enjoyable process than sitting down with finance when buying a truck. Finally, Bill shared some great hidden gem campground ideas with us. When it was time to hitch up the crew took their time to adjust the ball and the distribution hitch to match the height of our truck. On a Friday morning in February we found online that Lemke RV had a hard-to-find teardrop trailer in stock. We called and talked to Jay, and in the next few hours worked out a plan to come see and potentially buy the trailer the very next day (a Saturday). As we live in Oregon, 9 hours away, this was a little unnerving, however Jay was awesome to work with, sending photos and videos and helping to get everything lined up. I purchased a beautiful, new, Mercedes Class B van from a dealer in Oregon. As soon as I got it home, I knew it was not right for me. Of course, there were other challenges about the RV too, like arguing with the DMV and CHP about what year the van actually was. And, there were several recalls that had to be fixed. The local manufacturers dealer eventually helped me with the recalls, after their busy season was over at the end of summer. So, this whole process took about 7 months and I was determined not to use the RV at all because it would be easier to sell as new or unused. One day, my friend Jerry called me and mentioned he was working for Lemke RV and he offered to consign my van and help me sell it. It didn't take long for me to accept his offer of help and I consigned my van to Lemke. They gave me an exact price they were expecting to get for it and I agreed on this figure. It was only a couple of weeks later, Jerry texted me and said it was sold. I felt so relieved! My huge mistake was finally out of my driveway. Lemke is AWESOME!... We purchased a 2018 319MB Coachmen Leprechaun in Oct 2021 from Lemke RV. While the RIG did have some issues, Phil immediately offered to take care of them, even if the repairs occurred AFTER we took possession. We drove the Rig back, from Sacramento CA, to San Antonio TX. The 2020/2021 Coviid impact on the RV Industry was very real and hard. We had the RIG in the Shop San Antonio, from Nov 2021, till Apr 2022.
