My parents and I went here today looking for a trailer ( ready to buy) and Mark was the first person to approach us. Immediately he began the conversation condescending and was genuinely annoyed by any questions thrown his way like he didn't want to be bothered. His attitude and remarks were unbelievable and his reluctance to help was HIGHLY apparent. The use of profanity was a constant, and worst of all while inquiring about the features of the trailer we were looking at, he wasn't even paying attention or engaged and was constantly telling other customers to hold on or talking on his phone mid conversation like he was genuinely uninterested. I've worked in sales for 8+ years and this is a horrible look for any business. My advice is to sit the dude down and coach him on the professionalism of sales and what it means to have soft skills to those who are uniformed in the RV/trailer world. It seemed like he was so focused on making a sale with every customer that the quality of our interaction felt like he wasn't concerned about helping us and instead made it appear like a numbers game. I consigned my class a RV here, every staff member i spoke to was extremely respectful and i don't take anything personal! All business! The RV sold in just 3 days! These guys know what their doing and get alot of business. The process was seem-less, i didnt have to come in after the day i dropped off the RV. They handle everything. They have all their vendors on site so no need for much transport of your vehicle and they helped cover some of the costs for tires that i needed on the RV. We (my wife) did quite a bit of research and found the travel trailer that checked all the boxes for our first RV. We went out and met with Jay at Lemke RV on a Saturday. Even though they were short staffed due to another salesperson calling in sick that day, Jay took the appropriate time to show us the trailer without smothering us. I asked Jay to hold the trailer for us while I went home to get a friend, who is knowledgeable about RVs and with a nominal deposit Jay agreed. I returned later that Saturday with my friend, Jay opened the trailer, then left us so we could speak candidly. My friend gave the trailer 2 thumbs up. I went in to tell Jay we'd take the trailer. Again, even with the hustle and bustle on the lot and in the office, Jay made me his focus as we completed the necessary paper work. When we came back 10 days later to pick up the RV, we were given a thorough walk through on how to use everything and how to maintain our new trailer. We were also given a welcome kit with several necessities like a fresh water hose, a clean sewer hose and a jug of stuff to keep the black water tank from getting too stinky. There were a couple minor repairs and a battery upgrade that I had mentioned prior to paying for the trailer, but forgot to have addresses prior to handing Jay my cashier's check. I was half-expecting them to tell me that they already had my money and I was on my own to get the repairs made. Instead, the folks at Lemke RV made sure one of the repairs was made on the spot and after determining that an access door needed to be replaced and would require parts to be ordered, they wrote me a due bill for the access door repair and the battery upgrade. The battery upgrade was done at my home by Chuck, their mobile repair contractor, with in a week of me bringing the trailer home. I am impressed with the level of service and professionalism everyone at Lemke provided to a couple of total newbies like my wife and me. If these guys respond to an ad you post online selling your RV, telling you they'll give you a guaranteed value for consigning it, don't get your hopes up. At least not until you hear back from the manager when they approve your guaranteed value. It would be nice if they would actually call you back to let you know the value instead of just ghosting you. Selling consignment might be more convenient, but it is worth the extra work to actually get a good price when you're selling your RV. read more

Jay the salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the relaxed environment and not the typical high pressure sales environment. The whole process was very smooth. Phil the finance manager was also very friendly and responsive. I always expect problems but there really were none aside from a slight delay from the lender in getting approved. They always responded to my texts or calls with updates and provided excellent customer service. It is a family run business and it is quite evident that they care about their customers. Mark seems to have difficulty communicating with customers. Same thing happened to us today as many other poor reviews mentioned. We really wanted to buy an RV today. I even asked him about the two we had decided on. He didn't have much to say. He spent most of his time on the phone talking to other customers. After 5 disappointing visit's at dealerships, I arrived at Lemke without much expectation. By the time I got to the front door, Jay (wheel estate agent), Greeted me, listened to what I was looking for and showed me 8 different trailers along those lines. The fourth one was the magic charm. I love consignment stores, but I had no idea that there were consignment lots for RVs. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff, who invited us to peruse their inventory without any haggling by him while we walked around and should we have any questions, he would be happy to answer any questions. At that, we made our way through their wide selection and even though we were out that day just to look around, we felt no pressure and that was a big plus. Having looked at 2017s on other lots that do not carry many older models, I appreciated being able to look at used inventory. Today my wife went to a couple of RV dealerships to look for a trailer to buy in a year when I retire. The first place I went to the salesman tried putting pressure to buy a trailer that day and was $15,000 over what we said we wanted to pay. I bought a trailer on the jan 4th paid infull and for a 900 safety and function inspection. Not optional mandatory by them. Well i was sold on gel sealed six volt batteries on the coach. I was told that if they dont hold 85% of capacity then they would be replaced with. The same kind they were not. They were replaced with cheap waterbased ones. Which i didnt notice when i picked up the trailer and did the walk thru. So i call the sales man and he passed on my concerns to the rocklin office. Then the next day i notice the black tank handle leaking and the propane swith over doesnt work. I text him again and he says i will pass it on well no word for days. I finally get a call but miss it and call back within an hour no answer left message and still no call 2 days. I texted the sales guy and his response was "Sorry Kenny has Yelp Written all over him" so im thinking that wasnt meant for me. But hey thanks for the idea. I flew down to CA with my parents in early September 2014 to look at a great little Chinook they had as a consignment on their lot. They were fabulous. The care that they took, the time they took -- at length -- to help us understand everything there was to know about the rig. When I asked questions, even when I asked them to ask the owners questions -- they did as I asked. We only found out on their website are RV was not banked owned. They were very slow at paying us. We finally received a check on 5-18-20. In November 2020, we wanted to get another RV, so we looked at to there website and found a 2014 Coachman made an offer the RV asking price was $68,000 we offered $65,000. The salesperson said it was a fair offer, but his Boss said he would not come off $1.00, they made a hefty profit off are consignment if you are looking to buy Rv go elsewhere we did, we brought a 2020 Winnebago 33 ft Fully loaded only 4,000 miles 2,000 Watt inverter HWH Levers Plus Solar Panels 2 TV's plus a Spare Tire, retail MSRP $122,000 we paid $73,000 the 2014 Coachman didn't have any tv in rear bedroom no inverter and no spare tire When we sat down with the salesperson before we made an offer, he said he would take another $1000 off the price I am glad we waited. Super happy with our RV purchase from Lemke. We've had it out a few times since we took possession two months ago. Everything works as it should and the vehicle is mechanically sound. Having a full inspection done by Lemke and going through the vehicle on the day of pickup was extremely helpful. This is a 12 year old vehicle, it did need some cosmetic attention and upgrades which is to be expected and I was able make the upgrades myself. We added carpeting and laminate floors, repainted all of the roof vent interior trim, AC plastic, and outside plastic trim because these fade over time and yellow. What a difference it makes! We also removed the flimsy accordion door to the shower and installed a glass door from Lowe's. We added a backup camera and a much nicer mattress for the queen bed. Upgrades cost under $1,000 and if they were already there, I'm sure any dealership would have marked it up a lot more. it was nice to know that Lemke sold us a mechanically sound, functioning RV that we could put our own personal touch into. Lemke has many great reviews, but my experience was less than stellar. With all the the "covid related fury" in RV sales Lemke seems to have taken on a "customer service is unimportant" attitude. We found the trailer we wanted, and were rushed in and out of the sales department as fast as they could move us. We quickly obtained our own financing, but the finance department failed to contact us as we were told they would. They claim to be swamped and would "get to us when they could." I had to keep contacting them to insure that something would happen eventually. All phone messages were left unanswered. When I suggested that since they were selling so many RV's and obviously making money, perhaps they should hire some more help, my sales person responded with a very snarky "We're not making a lot of money here. We are buying high and selling low." It's now over a month later and I am still waiting on DMV papers. Once I told Lemke "I'll take it" they have been of no help. The only exception was the young man who walked us through our trailer when we picked it up. He was great. Maybe he should be in charge..... read more
