What an honor and privilege to write a review for RV-Time. Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB Sprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but ... like some previous reviews stated - they don't answer the phone (which is ok if busy ) but they don't return calls either, come on guys !!! Bad business practice !! read more

My second review for RV Time. I took it in for general axle maintenance, wheel bearing repack, seal replacement, and suspension inspection. They found a minor problem with an outer bearing and replaced it. They took pictures, and saved the bearing to show me the problem. Best part with this place is not just the excellent work they do but the communication too. I've heard nightmare stories from friends about other RV repair places/dealerships. Fortunately, I've only brought mine to RV Time and it's exceeded my expectations. If you live anywhere near this place, I'd highly recommend bringing your rig here. Great family owned business. read more

Super great people! Totally professional, upfront pricing, on time, and mobile! Only a few exceptions like water system sterilizing (done in house only) and no generator work (but they have a referral) Other than that, it's a go! Great communication, transparency, and competitive prices. Ashley and Matthew are great. My new "go to" company for repairs/upgrades. Really convenient having a quality mobile option. Highly Recommend!! read more

If I could give Matthew and Ashley five more stars for a total of 10, I would do that. The professionalism, friendliness and paying attention to my needs was outstanding. The best service I've ever had. I have owned RVs for the last 15 years and I brought my 33 foot class C Jayco, Greyhawk 29 MV to them for diagnostics and repair. I had a mess of electrical problems between solar panels, converters, and inverters that started with the purchase of this rig from MANTECA RV and Trailer. Everything has been missed diagnosed and repairs done not necessary to the problem. Matthew solved all my problems! The price was more than reasonable! My wife and myself, highly recommend RV TIME to anybody in Northern California. Steve & Becky read more

I had purchased a rv and I took it to RVTime and they went through it to make sure all equipment worked the way it should. They went through and made any repairs that were needed. They didn't push to make repairs, but let me know what was needed. The price was great as well on repairing. I will be back for any questions or concerns that I have. I highly recommend them. The big thing is that they are mobile as well. Thank you guys for everything, Patrick W. read more

Love this place. Amazing people! If you have an rv issue do not hesitate to visit there shop.

Ashley and Matthew were great! Very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and giving great advice to a first time RVer. I really appreciate their patience and support. Will be a repeat customer for the duration of my Rv experience. They are great people and good people and great at what they do! read more

This is a great business. Matt and Ashley are really nice people who know what they are doing. Totally satisfied with the work that they did on my trailer. Work was completed in the time frame given (a rarity for rv mechanics) and the communication was excellent!!! Highly recommend. I will be using RV Time for my future needs. read more

I've worked with RV Time many times over the last 5 years since I started the travel trailer life. They are incredible! Very communicative, knowledgeable, efficient and high quality work. Most recently I had a tire blow out that caused some undercarriage damage and they worked with my insurance to get everything taken care of, with enough time to spare to be able to go on the next trip that was planned with the family. Definitely recommend and they are always my first call/text when I have an issue... (Thank you Ashley and Matt!) read more

This is an honest shop. We had them replace a door lock and asked them to give a ballpark cost on other repairs we can't afford right now. They did not charge for the estimates, and, since I mentioned we were trying to sell the RV (class C) they even gave advice on how to present it for a better result and response. The best part is they offer repairs at YOUR location if you are local, and you don't have to bring it to them when you are the only driver. Family owned. read more

This place is great!! Good people, reasonable prices, got me in quick and solved a complex series of problems for me. I was struggling with the dealer and the van-upfitter refusing to help diagnose and treat my van's electrical problems. I was also struggling to get an appointment anywhere in a timely manner. I was considering selling my rig I was so frustrated with the multiple problems. My rig is complex with solar, lithium batteries, inverter/converter, etc. and the great folks at RV Time got it done and everything is working again! read more

Excellent service...Matthew and his helper spent an hour repairing a difficult problem with my awning, he had never worked on a Carefree awning with this particular problem. Fortunately I had spoken with Carefree tech service and had bought the part ahead of time. Repair costs were very fair, these guys need to make a living. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RVTime...and here in Sacramento they are one of the few RV repair companies that will come out to service a rig. My only complaint is they need to stop using texting as a form of communications, not professional!!!! Very easy to misinterpret the message....Ashley, no more texting....just my 2 cents. Thanks again Matthew and Ashley! read more

RV Time is a highly sought after business because they are the top of their field. Matthew is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. More importantly, he's honest and clearly cares and values his customers. We've been in our RV while we build our house and every thing we've asked them to come out to do has been done efficiently and quickly. RV Time has always provided excellent advice and never added extraneous charges or unnecessary repairs. They will always be my go to! read more

Just found a great mobile RV repair company in Sac! I made an appt, Matt came out, fixed my fridge, checked my roof, looked at an issue with my floors, talked to me about estimates for a couple things I want to do, and he showed me what he did to fix the fridge so I could possibly fix it on my own if it happens again. He even let me video record him giving me the instructions so that I don't forget what he said or electrocute myself trying to wing it next time. Within 15 minutes of leaving my house (so nice to have things fixed here instead of dropping off the trailer for an unknown amount of time!), his wife/co-owner Ashley had called me to discuss the invoice for today's repairs and to get info from me so that she could send me an itemized estimate for all of the things I want to have done in the future. The mobile call-out fee was only incredibly reasonable!!!! I have been charged up to $150 just for a call-out before and RV Time was about half that. It was sooooooo worth it!!!. Matt was knowledgeable, respectful (as a woman, I sometimes get treated like an idiot from men when it comes to my trailer or vehicles), up-front, honest, and helpful. He's a younger guy and he knows his stuff. The company is family owned and they seem to have it figured out...mobile service is the way to go! On another note, they have rentals too. So if you have anyone interested in trying the RV thing sometime, you could check them out. I'm so happy. I believe they will be my new "go-to" RV repair people. I highly recommend them...and have already posted their info and this review to an RV/Trailer group that I am on on Facebook. The group was so excited to see this review and happy to know that there is a good company in the Sacramento area for any future repairs. Thank you Matt and Ashley! read more

They don't return calls or texts. Called and left messages and then texted like the message suggested.

Can't say enough good things about RV Time. They were able to resolve the many problems that I had with my Dynamax Isata 5, including problems that the factory authorized dealer I bought from (out of state) was unable to resolve. Very honest and helpful. It is a small family run business, so on occasion they can be hard to get ahold of, but well worth the effort. They also do mobile repair and rentals. If you are in the Sacramento area and are tired of the long waits, high prices and poor service of the corporate repair places, give RV Time a try. Thanks Matthew and Ashley! read more

Matthew and Ashley run a first class business. They installed solar panels and a 3000 watt inverter on my class A RV. There were a couple of issues with my battery set-up that they quickly addressed. Matthew even made a could of noble trips to my home to ensure everything was working as it should. Top notch company and I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

The owners, Matt & Ashley, were great. They not only fixed our RV, but diagnosed it better than the initial service company. They also dealt with the insurance company in a professional manner. We needed the slide out covers replaced and they ordered them and did it in the week they estimated. They were extremely nice and went out of their way to help us with a couple of unrelated matters and went above and beyond to help us. I heavily recommend using their repair services. read more

They did a great job and charged a fair price. I had a water leak on my refrigerator and they came out found the leak and replaced the water valve all in one day. They also did an appliance check and cleaned out my furnace, hot water heater and A/C so I'm ready for the summer read more

Hi, my new RV electrical damaged by mis-wired outlet which spiked 220V through system. Ahhhh! The team came out promptly and isolated a number of scattered issues, then FIXED so good as new. Wow I can't say enough good things about Matthew and his team. I had a little altercation with a tree (it won) and pulled the awning from the rv. I knew I wouldn't go to the large dealership service places as last few times my rv was gone for 3 months and it was a constant battle to get info and get things fixed. Anyways, Matthew, his wife Ashley and their adorable daughter stopped by that evening just to asses the damage. We wanted to take the rv that next weekend so they came to our house the next day and took the awning off so we could use the rv. Had to special order the awning and they kept us posted on timelines for delivery. We also had them service the rv, check appliances, replace fans and a few other things. It's so nice to have them come to you. We were able to still use our rv instead of giving it up to the shop for months on end. Thank you Matthew and your team! read more

Our frig. Had stopped working. Jeremiah came out the same day we called , diagnosed the problem, quoted a price. Ordered the part said it would get here in about 4-5 days. Set up an appointment for the 5 th day out as soon as he made sure it would arrive on time. Dan and Aaron arrived on time . Was very polite , respectful . Knew what they were doing and got it done . Cleaned their mess up , did a few extra things I had mentioned. It was a great experience! I will use them again in a heart beat if needed. We highly recommend this company!!! read more

During the last 30 years I have taken my RVs to various repair and service shops in the Sacramento area. The best one of all was RV Time! They recently did a superb job of repairing and recoating my RV Roof for much less than other bids I received. Their service was quick and communications were prompt. They explained the repairs in detail. And best of all they were really friendly, nice people. read more

This was great, absolutely worth it! I am not a RV expert by any means but I know my way around a campfire. These guys answered all my questions and made it easy for me to look like a pro by hooking everything up. I just picked out a good spot at the lake and they took care of the rest. Delivered on time, I was surprised how easy and quick it was to book. Had a great weekend. Camping with a RV is awesome, especially when you don't have to park it yourself haha. My fiance really liked being able to sleep in a bed and I have to admit it was pretty cool to have a whole fridge and freezer for the food and not worrying about melting ice in a cooler. It's so expensive to own, when I only plan on camping a few times a year. I already told them I was going to book again on our next trip. Really happy about the service and making it easy for us! Thanks RV Time! read more

I now have used RV Time on three occasions to make various repairs on my 5th-wheel trailer. This last repair was for axle service before vacation time. The requested service was completed on time and they corrected a few wiring problems that were made by another trailer repair facility during a previous service. I am very happy with the work that I've had done at RV Time. read more

We just completed a 2 week trip in a travel trailer from RV Time. The service was excellent - the trailer was new, in excellent condition and perfect for our family of 4. Ashley and Matt were super responsive - when we had an problem with the remote braking system, they were available by phone to resolve the issue. They also met us at weekend times convenient to us to pick up and drop off the trailer. Very highly recommended! read more

Good experience, Trailer was perfect for my family. It was just like the pictures online. RV Time made our RV rental experience enjoyable. They were affordable and the staff was friendly. The best part is that they dropped the trailer rental off, fully setup up and demonstrated operation! Which was super helpful to us first time trailer campers. Thanks again, we look forward to our next camping trip. read more

Hello fellow RV owners looking for a honest knowledgeable shop to trust your RV repairs to, you found one here. Mathew and company did a excellent job repairing my step on my Newmar Motorhome. We bought a new Class A motorhome and wanted to be able to tow a vehicle behind. After finding the perfect used Mini Cooper S Countryman with manual transmission, we had to find a place that would install the tow package on the vehicle so that we could pull it behind our rig. The best option for us (we thought) was a dealer in Arizona who would do the job for $3500. But that meant driving to Arizona with both the RV and the car separately, get a motel room for a couple days for the work to be done, and then drive the two back (hopefully joined together by that point). Well, a recommendation from our sales rep where we bought the rig turned us on to RV Time. Matthew and Ashley were really helpful, and the price they quoted for the installation was almost $100 less than the place in Arizona! Because we also didn't have to travel and stay in a hotel because RV Time is local, we saved even more! To say that they did a great job installing the tow plate on the Cooper would be a huge understatement. The car looks fantastic - the extra care and consideration they made to ensure that the car still looked like it was supposed to, while still being able to function as a toad, was beyond every expectation! We cannot recommend them highly enough. RV Time is FANTASTIC! read more

We discovered that we had a cracked water heater (in our 2018 Fifth wheel!) and called RV Time because they were recommended by our park's front office. Matthew and Ashley were quick to respond and figured out how to get our warranty information so that we could replace the water heater without any additional costs to us. Once the water heater actually came in, they offered to install it a day earlier than agreed, on Father's Day actually! They kept us informed every step of the way and were just all around awesome.
