What an honor and privilege to write a review for RV-Time. Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB Sprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? If I could give Matthew and Ashley five more stars for a total of 10, I would do that. The professionalism, friendliness and paying attention to my needs was outstanding. The best service I've ever had. I have owned RVs for the last 15 years and I brought my 33 foot class C Jayco, Greyhawk 29 MV to them for diagnostics and repair. I had a mess of electrical problems between solar panels, converters, and inverters that started with the purchase of this rig from MANTECA RV and Trailer. This is an honest shop. We had them replace a door lock and asked them to give a ballpark cost on other repairs we can't afford right now. They did not charge for the estimates, and, since I mentioned we were trying to sell the RV (class C) they even gave advice on how to present it for a better result and response. This place is great!! Good people, reasonable prices, got me in quick and solved a complex series of problems for me. I was struggling with the dealer and the van-upfitter refusing to help diagnose and treat my van's electrical problems. I was also struggling to get an appointment anywhere in a timely manner. I was considering selling my rig I was so frustrated with the multiple problems. Excellent service...Matthew and his helper spent an hour repairing a difficult problem with my awning, he had never worked on a Carefree awning with this particular problem. Fortunately I had spoken with Carefree tech service and had bought the part ahead of time. Repair costs were very fair, these guys need to make a living. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RVTime...and here in Sacramento they are one of the few RV repair companies that will come out to service a rig. Just found a great mobile RV repair company in Sac! I made an appt, Matt came out, fixed my fridge, checked my roof, looked at an issue with my floors, talked to me about estimates for a couple things I want to do, and he showed me what he did to fix the fridge so I could possibly fix it on my own if it happens again. He even let me video record him giving me the instructions so that I don't forget what he said or electrocute myself trying to wing it next time. Within 15 minutes of leaving my house (so nice to have things fixed here instead of dropping off the trailer for an unknown amount of time!), his wife/co-owner Ashley had called me to discuss the invoice for today's repairs and to get info from me so that she could send me an itemized estimate for all of the things I want to have done in the future. The mobile call-out fee was only incredibly reasonable!!!! I have been charged up to $150 just for a call-out before and RV Time was about half that. It was sooooooo worth it!!!. Matt was knowledgeable, respectful (as a woman, I sometimes get treated like an idiot from men when it comes to my trailer or vehicles), up-front, honest, and helpful. He's a younger guy and he knows his stuff. The company is family owned and they seem to have it figured out...mobile service is the way to go! On another note, they have rentals too. So if you have anyone interested in trying the RV thing sometime, you could check them out. I'm so happy. I believe they will be my new "go-to" RV repair people. I'd done hours of troubleshooting a propane leak and finally gave up. Called RV Time and was able to get it in the following week. They found the leak at the furnace, repaired it in 1.5 hours of labor. I was fortunate that it was just a loose fitting. Wow I can't say enough good things about Matthew and his team. I had a little altercation with a tree (it won) and pulled the awning from the rv. I knew I wouldn't go to the large dealership service places as last few times my rv was gone for 3 months and it was a constant battle to get info and get things fixed. Anyways, Matthew, his wife Ashley and their adorable daughter stopped by that evening just to asses the damage. We wanted to take the rv that next weekend so they came to our house the next day and took the awning off so we could use the rv. Our frig. Had stopped working. Jeremiah came out the same day we called , diagnosed the problem, quoted a price. Ordered the part said it would get here in about 4-5 days. This was great, absolutely worth it! I am not a RV expert by any means but I know my way around a campfire. These guys answered all my questions and made it easy for me to look like a pro by hooking everything up. I just picked out a good spot at the lake and they took care of the rest. Delivered on time, I was surprised how easy and quick it was to book. Had a great weekend. Camping with a RV is awesome, especially when you don't have to park it yourself haha. My fiance really liked being able to sleep in a bed and I have to admit it was pretty cool to have a whole fridge and freezer for the food and not worrying about melting ice in a cooler. We bought a new Class A motorhome and wanted to be able to tow a vehicle behind. After finding the perfect used Mini Cooper S Countryman with manual transmission, we had to find a place that would install the tow package on the vehicle so that we could pull it behind our rig. The best option for us (we thought) was a dealer in Arizona who would do the job for $3500. But that meant driving to Arizona with both the RV and the car separately, get a motel room for a couple days for the work to be done, and then drive the two back (hopefully joined together by that point). Well, a recommendation from our sales rep where we bought the rig turned us on to RV Time. Matthew and Ashley were really helpful, and the price they quoted for the installation was almost $100 less than the place in Arizona! Because we also didn't have to travel and stay in a hotel because RV Time is local, we saved even more! To say that they did a great job installing the tow plate on the Cooper would be a huge understatement. The car looks fantastic - the extra care and consideration they made to ensure that the car still looked like it was supposed to, while still being able to function as a toad, was beyond every expectation! We discovered that we had a cracked water heater (in our 2018 Fifth wheel!) and called RV Time because they were recommended by our park's front office. Matthew and Ashley were quick to respond and figured out how to get our warranty information so that we could replace the water heater without any additional costs to us. Once the water heater actually came in, they offered to install it a day earlier than agreed, on Father's Day actually! They kept us informed every step of the way and were just all around awesome.
