Do not waste your time. My husband knew there was something fishy with their electrical components as if they were concealing engine light was actually on prior to us getting there. The place is very unkept, dirty and the salesman was not knowledgeable and could not really answer our questions, some are simple questions . His answers even made you scratch your head because the answer if so off. We felt this place was a total scam. We were relieved after we left. There is something very eerie about this place! The RV were very dirty inside . I swear I saw poop smear on the the toilet seat cover. It was like going on a viewing from Facebook marketplace and being very disappointed at the item you intended to buy. Photos are a lie! I do not understand, they are essentially a consignment place for RV. And they will try their best to conceal any issues from you just to make a sale! Literally had a crappie experience. Told me there was nothing wrong with the Motorhome when they had to have known the batteries were dead and lied and said they left the key on. Roof needs replaced A/C wasn't working they said just needs to run as it ran cold with them when it was completely out of Freon. Then the slide stopped working due to water damage that they tried to hide. Yes it's my mistake believing these guys and should have done more due diligence so it is what it is. I think their maintenance guy was even pooping in the rv as when I pulled up to camp realized it had a huge pyramid that looked fresh. Don't trust these guys do your diligence and it was our first rv so thanks for the great experience. Also it seems known in the area through other places this is a place to steer clear of sooo. Chino at Interstate RV tried to purchase my RV at a discounted price because he claimed it had water damage. I declined his offer. The next day 4 guys came and poured oil in my coolant reservoir while 2 of them distracted me and claimed it had a blown head gasket. I believed them and sold it at a discounted price to get rid of it. The next day Chino informed me he was buying the RV for $16k. When I told him about the engine he said I got scammed and it happens all the time. I called the guy that purchased it and accused him of scamming me. He told me he did not and sold the RV to Chino for $16k. Chino then called me and said there was nothing wrong with the engine and it had no water damage. The RV was delaminating from water leaking into the sides. In my opinion, Chino is working with these scammers. I am a senior citizen and a disabled veteran and Chino laughed and said I was stupid to fall for this scam. These people are despicable! Stay away from Interstate RV. Chino is selling my 2014 Thor Freedom Elite for $23k. He is listing it as in perfect condition, fully aware there is water damage and the scammers drove it to his RV lot 90 miles away with oil in the coolant. I would advise to stear clear of this RV and this business, they will rip you off! read more

My husband and I have been searching for a newer, "good condition" 5th Wheel trailer. Interstate RV in Auburn, CA had an ad on Craigslist for one that looked perfect! The ad describes this RV as "LIKE NEW". We drove over on a Saturday morning after confirming the RV was available the day before. We arrived at 10am. They were not open. The owner said due to Covid, he was only open by appointment on Saturdays. That was understandable. He offered us an appointment at 2pm. We drove 45 minutes to see the RV. Not a big deal, but it was an inconvenience. We decided to walk over to the RV and see the exterior since we couldn't come back at 2pm to view the inside. We were surprised to find damage. The pictures of the exterior of the RV posted in the ad were taken at an angle to crop out significant damage to the right side of the nose cone. We could see the fiberglass had some voids in it from the impact. It was raining at the time!!! When we asked about the damage, the owner stated it was "cosmetic". The damage should have been clearly stated in their ad, with an appropriate picture. Needless to say, we would have passed on this one. read more

I Purchased a Class A motorhome, paid in full, that he had on consignment. What a mess this has been. They said they had gone through everything and everything worked great. 1. Heater does not work. It was 100+ that day. Hard for me to test. Found out the line inside the heater had been capped. Oh well, my bad for not testing completely. 2. The roof looked like it needed a little love. I was not that versed in RV roofs. Assumed it just needed a maintenance/service. My bad, I should have not taken his word for it being a good roof. Took it in to have it sealed/serviced. I find out the whole roof needs to be replaced. I guess I am getting a $7K lesson on RV roofs. (Also, the roof repair place said someone rubbed baking soda in the inside ceiling material to hide the water stains) 3. First trip out, I find out the shower drain leaks into the underside of the motorhome and onto the ground. 4. After about an hour of use, the generator will no longer run. I have not dug into this yet. Final Straw - The registration showed up today. They spelled my name completely wrong on the DMV paperwork. He took a copy of my ID. How do you mess this up? Now I have to go spend time at the DMV to fix their error. I am over this. I understand some of this falls on me. I was not experienced with motorhomes and chased a deal without having the expertise to really inspect a roof. But, as an RV dealer, they know they are selling problematic RVs to people that dont know what they are looking at. If it were not for the DMV mess up, I would have given them 2-3 stars as some of this is my bad for not looking/knowing. Buyer beware. Know that this place will not completely test everything on the RVs and will not tell you everything wrong. For the right buyer who knows what they are doing, you might be able to get a good deal here. read more
