While I didn't…read morephysically visit their store in Boulder, I placed an online order with them as a first-time customer during the coronavirus pandemic. I ordered two pairs of minimalist running shoes which arrived in a reasonable amount of time (5 days which I consider reasonable shipping by USPS during the pandemic). Prices were reasonable, especially since I used a promotional code that they offered. One pair of shoes was unfortunately slightly too big, so I emailed Pedestrian Shops about doing an exchange. They responded quickly and offered to drop off my replacement pair at my doorstep! I only needed to wait a day before I had my replacement pair in my hands. Kudos to Zoe Polk and the team at Pedestrian Shops! They will definitely get my business again!

I went to the The Pedestrian Shop at 1425 Pearl Street in Boulder today. I told the female clerk…read morethat the shoes I was buying there was $20 less at the Stegmann's Shoe Company. She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I asked her if I got it for her would she give me the discount and match the Stegmann price. She said she would. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. She was very rude to me and refused to honor what she had said about matching the price. This is an inappropriate way to treat a customer. Please respond to my complaint. Rita

You can attempt to build some rapport, the staff is so great, but it seems like their owner/manager won't toss a bone to a starving dog if it means he'll keep a buck in his pocket. Stepping on sharp volcanic rocks and it's awesome! It provided me with some really great ankle support and the stability of a solid step. It was again a great foot wear stepping on the granite rocks in the Rancheria Hike. Sure footing and very comfortable. The only change I think i will make is to replace my generic lace with a flat one. It should then provide me with a longer/better staying lace up power. I usually carry a 45 pounds pack and the boots still continues to provide me with great support. Here are the specs: The EVO has a half steel shank for an easier flex and a quicker break-in period. The Reactive Spoiler System ankle piece makes it an extremely comfortable boot for wearing with a pack and walking down hill.
