So I'm not sure why this is the first review that is being seen as I know that I have left one before but maybe it was a different location. Anyway I would like to give Kudos to the excellent customer service that this particular location has extended to me and my family. when walking in you are greeted, asked what your looking for and directed to the section that may have what your looking for. After that they notify the associate in or near that dept that you are headed their way so they may assist you. On this particular occasion we were returning a bike recently purchased, as it had a manufacturer defect. Upon calling the store I explained the situation to Travis, the store Mgr and he quickly went to check stock to replace the defective product unfortunately they did not have one, so instead he offered to upgrade the bike at no cost to us and said he had a few choices my Son could pick from. Upon arriving we were met by SJ another store Mgr and informed us that he had been made aware of the situation and was expecting us, he than called back to the department associate to let them know we were on the way back to him. After my Son made his selection to our surprise SJ showed up back in the bike department to be a second set of eyes that completed the safety checklist that was performed by Moe the on duty bike tech at the time and also to make sure the transition went as smoothly at possible. I personally have not received this level of excellence in customer service for a very long time and even upon asking about a new shipment of YETI coolers SJ advised me to call the store as to check stock so I don't waste a trip. But in the end if you have any needs as far as any type of sporting goods this would be the place that I would recommend the only thing that seems to be lacking is the fishing gear which is no fault of their own blame COVID for that. But honestly even though we live closer to another location this is now my "new" home store. Definitely recommend on customer service only if that gets you in there. P.S. they also offer points for purchases and points for steps!! read more

Took my 12 year old here to buy shoes. He is indecisive and tried on multiple pairs in multiple sizes. The older man in the shoes (I believe his name was John) was very sweet and helpful. My son got the pair he wanted and was super happy. As a mom I am always "lost" in the store for which is best for which sport and so on. The sales people have always been polite, courteous, and very helpful. We will be back. read more

Dick's is the best sporting goods store!! They have a great selection of anything you might need from skiing to camping. We go here first whenever we get our kids sporting equipment. Their staff is very helpful and make your visit as easy as possible. I usually get my running shoes here because they offer good sales throughout the year. I have always been happy with the level of quality and service I get at Dicks. They also have a customer rewards card that pays you back after you have spent a certain amount. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. read more

I purchased a treadmill from Dick's Sporting Goods and although the delivery was delayed, Dicks was great through the whole thing and followed through when I had issues. The team that delivered the treadmill was professional, fast and polite however I had numerous issues with scheduling over and over. If you buy something from Dick's that you need delivered, be prepared to possibly wait and be ignored by scheduling. So far the treadmill has been a wonderful purchase considering I didn't buy one of the top-of-the-line treadmills. read more

Not sure what to think here, was I under dresses and under paid or was I just not feeling the welcome spirit.....? The place is huge, and has some really nice stuff, but way too expensive for this guy~ I browsed for a bit while my wife was buying shoes, and at no point was I ever offered any assistance, in fact three employees walked by me looked at me like I was a well I'll save that and I observed this happen to a few people. It is almost like they were too bothered by being there on a Sunday morning, hey buddy I didn't make your schedule, and if it were not for me the customer you'd be shiza outta job~! I was not impressed with the staff on the floor, but the greeter was nice and the check out clerk was cool. It did seem though that most people were spending in the woods of 120.00 per transaction, so it is high end, but quality comes at a price, and service should follow that equity of quality, but it failed miserably here~ Just an honest opinion. read more

What started as a not so pleasant experience quickly turned into a very positive one, thanks to Anne at the front counter, and Shawn, the store manager. For Christmas, I bought hockey skates for my twin boys. Great, huh? Except they were the wrong size, so I returned them, only to find the only had one pair of the right size. so I returned both pairs of skates and left with the one right sized pair and a promise the other pair would be shipped to my home within 3-5 days. We'll, after 10 days, no second pair. . . So I went back to the store, I little miffed and slightly concerned that I was going to have to battle to get what I paid for. But instead, I found people who were genuinely concerned that I had to deal with skates that didn't work for an extended period of time. They went out of their way to take care of me and make sure I was happy. I'll definitely feel good about buying there again! read more
