I've been enjoying Patagonia's wares and events for a few years now. From great films at their store (Dam Nation is amazing! If you haven't seen it, now's the time!), new product launches (Tenkara fly fishing rods/kits), and sales galore featuring Patagonia provision bites and local groups helping to make Boulder a better place (Vessel). They are able to provide minor product repairs in-store and mail larger repairs away at no charge. Should they not be able to fix your larger repair (most recently for me it was some buttons that popped off my jean short pockets) they will either provide you store credit towards a new item or return the item back to you. While their gear may be an investment they really back up their quality. Not to mention, they don't even have a time limit on returns! read more

Decided to stop in and give them another chance (after 4 or 5 bad visits to the store) while walking by last week to check out a bag I saw online. I was the only customer in the store and 4 employees. Still not one person said hi or asked if I needed help. Even the 2 employees that walked right by me didn't say a word. While I love the brand I am loosing faith in them as a company and what their mission actually is. Every other outdoor store on Pearl St from Arcteryx to North Face have been super freindly and welcoming. Time to reassess what companies I actually support. read more

I came into the Patagonia store to browse after being at RMNP all day. My family was visiting from out of town and we stopped in Boulder for dinner. I love Patagonia's products and my Atom Sling is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I looked a little rugged after our day outside, but it's a store selling outdoor apparel/gear and thought I'd be fine. There are multiple staff here that were very cold and indifferent. The store wasn't particularly busy and when I asked a question (my typical demeanor is friendly and warm) one of the male staff responded in short, clipped answers. He was chatting with another store member about their plans later that evening. I didn't feel like I should ask more questions or approach the staff. I ended up buying a hat and made my way out of the store. I felt embarrassed after the staff interaction. read more

It's a brick and mortar Patagonia store in Boulder... So, needless to say, but I LOVE this location. I love that they have some Boulder specific gear here. I picked up a bunch of their patches as gifts for friends (one for me too). I also really like the convenience it provides... I can order Patagonia stuff online, and if it doesn't fit I can easily return it directly to the store. Staff are also very kind and helpful! read more

I have been wearing Patagonia for about 20 years. My favorite Patagonia things I have are my jackets. They last forever and become just like a best friend and your favorite credit card-don't leave home without them! Patagonia has been creating clothes out of recycled bottles for more than ten years! This shop on Pearl Street is really big , long, and chock full of just about everything you can find in the catalog. The staff who work here are super nice and not just out to get you to spend your money. I even had a guy hold a jacket for me in the middle of the sale when I was a few hours away. When I got there he was really helpful and genuine! I can't imagine that dogs are allowed as they are not allowed on the Pearl Street mall and haven't been for ages, if ever. So sad...I would love to take my Blackberry in for some serious shopping! read more

I've been living on a farm in rural CA for a year and a half and all of my clothes have been heavily worn out. I was gifted $200 in credit at Patagucci but I have kept it for nearly a year for the desire to actually see/feel/try on some clothes before purchasing them. In the past I've had pants from them that range from 30-32. All of them fit, so I felt it was important to actually try them on. Finally an opportunity to use that credit presented itself when I travelled through Boulder and was able to visit their store which was larger than their previous location up the street, but seemed to have the same amount of items just spread out. The clothes are scattered around the store, one color in a style of shorts for instance was found arbitrarily in a drawer next to some shirts, while the other colors were elsewhere on a table. It's a bit of a treasure hunt instead of an organized method. Where styles of shorts are near shorts, pants near pants, et al. The short of it is that the in-person shopping experience at this store is apparently not ready and I guess I was supposed to have known that. I fall within a range of sizes that should be reasonably stocked, especially considering the activity level of Boulder, but instead most of their clothes are sz 28 and sz 38-40. When I asked about buying some shorts in the 31-32 sizes I received a (polite) mini lecture on how long their supply chain takes (12-18 months apparently) and how it's really unreasonable to expect the store to have anything stocked right now. Especially shorts. During summer. I left the store feeling like I had gone in asking for a burrito. "Why would you think you'd find that here?" They can 2 day ship them (if you happen to have an address and not be traveling) but if you'd like to try something on to avoid having to ship something back and forth multiple times, no dice. I have to admit I feel disappointed. It's not at the fault of the people in the store, (apart from being made to feel like I had unreasonable expectations of them). I had been looking forward to this experience for some time and buying some nice clothes to refresh my worn ones. Instead I have a $200 gift card that I wish was just cash so I could use it to purchase something somewhere else. read more

I like a lot of the Patagonia garments. I have several, many bought at other retailers some bought here. There are other places in Boulder to get their goods, but since this store opened, it is nice to get more options from their product line in person. More styles, more colors, better stock of sizes. The internet is also an option, but fit is so unpredictable for me I really do need to try things on. The staff is very friendly, but not too pushy. I have a couple of jackets, a vest, a couple of shirts and my new favorite this year, the "better sweater" coat. Cute style and casual enough for Boulder (and other places too) but just right for when you need something a little dressier than a ski jacket! I am a big supporter of Patagonia as I believe they run a business consciously however...I happened to be passing through Boulder and wanted to check out some of their merchandise as I can't stand shopping online. I recognize stores are doing their best to be safe during this time but allowing appointments only is in my opinion a bit extreme especially when there are visitors that come to the store to shop. AND on top of this, there was one customer in the store and sales associates that at first ignored our knock on the door then dismissed us after she opened the door to tell us the policy with no interest to put customer service first. Just like the previous review here, the attitude definitely needed a check. Not sure I'm going back..there are other brands that have the same sustainability practices as Patagonia does now. read more

The associates were very friendly and I appreciate their willingness to help. They had a full staff working, which was wonderful! Patagonia can be expensive, but there are some affordable styles and options. During my visit, there was a very small sale rack with a couple of women/men items, including: sweaters, vests, shorts, and snow pants. It sounds like quite a selection, but there was only 1-2 items of each. Nonetheless, I was able to find something really cute for mom at 50% off retail price. Score!!!!! :) read more

Patagonia always offers beautiful clothes, and great quality. I'm always impressed with the fabrics being offered. I enjoyed looking through the entire store especially since I need a new jacket. This was more of a scouting mission and not a buying trip. I have to say that my next jacket may be from Patagonia. I also really loved the dresses, so cute and for everyday, I may need some of those in my life and more importantly my closet. I know better than to wear MC Hammer pants on a first date (unless that date is with a former MC Hammer backup dancer), but I know very little about how to dress for cold weather. So it was with a head full of questions that I did the Hammer dance down Pearl Street and wound up in Patagonia with money to spend. The dude who helped me out was affable and friendly - and also patient: "What does waterproof mean?" "It keeps you from getting wet." "Like a duck?" "What?" "QUACK QUACK." Anyway, the service is great. The clothes are a bit on the pricey side, but they fit [me] well and look very sharp in nearly any kind of light. It's really nice to have a Patagonia store right on Pearl St. in the heart of downtown Boulder. I pop in all the time to check out the new styles. The staff are so friendly and they want to see what I am up to or if I need anything within minutes of walking in. I love Patagonia gear and can attest to the quality. I'm also a supporter of responsibly-sourced, recycled materials which is ingrained in Patagonia's quality clothes. They even used reclaimed cotton, wool and down! Very cool. The downtown store is great for a taste of what is in season but they have a fairly small selection of the entire Patagonia gear/attire. They don't carry all of the styles, which is understandable because the store is small. During a sale you gotta get there early because it is a madhouse! (I mean, it's Boulder) Overall the people and service is excellent and they always do their best to get you what you want. Great ambience. Great experience. read more

Great customer service and knowledgeable staff. Spoke to several staff about new items and tried on some items. Then Alex, who I believe is a new assistant manager, helped me and even went the extra mile in service and care. Over the course of a couple days, as I was busy, he helped me resolve a problem with worn out pants and helped me choose a replacement. I want to start by saying that I have been a fan of Patagonia for many years, and have always had good experiences with the company in regards to gear repair and friendly help. Yesterday, I had the best customer service experience at this store! I went in with a jacket that had been repaired by them earlier this year, but the patch they used was beginning to come off so I took it in with the hopes that they could repair it again. They informed me that the jacket was possibly beyond repair, so they gave me a brand new jacket! AWESOME! Then, on my way home, I had a close encounter with a car and fell pretty bad on my bicycle. I tore the sleeve of the new jacket badly and cut myself pretty good. I walked back to the store, pretty bummed out, and they treated me with so much kindness and compassion. One of the amazing staff helped me clean up my cuts and told me not to worry about the jacket. She told me that it was beyond repair and gave me another new jacket! I felt pretty bad about wasting a brand new jacket and felt as though I was taking advantage of the company, but they were nothing but friendly and understanding. THEY HAVE GAINED MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE! I have nothing but good things to say about them! read more
