Just wanted to shout out to the ladies at Jacque Michelle! My favorite store, loaded with new items every time I go in. My go to for a special outfit, but more important is it is the place for a last minute gift or treat for any age! They carry items like no one else in Boulder. It is so much fun just to poke around and see what is new. Also, ask the ladies what their favorite item in the store is this week. These women know their inventory! If you need something special, just ask! Thank you for being the best! I love my new dress!!!!! read more

Fun shop and I found a gift and a card for a grandchild for future use. A friend and I were going to lunch nearby and decided to stop to browse. It was a great collection of items for all ages, from novelty decor objects, jewelry, clothing, books, toys, and a wide selection of cards. The staff was friendly and attentive but gave us freedom to browse independently. This shop used to be in my neighborhood business district where there is very little parking available. By moving here, they got a bigger store and plenty of parking. read more

The staff is so helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help me with a gift for my nieces, looking in the back room to check for other earrings by the same jewelry maker. I then had about 15 pairs to choose from and they seemed so invested in what I chose. Every single time I've been there the service has been excellent and the selection and prices were really reasonable. A gem of a store! read more

TERRIBLE EXPERINCE. Staff here were unacceptably rude I have never encountered an interaction like this I went in one day to look around I asked a simple kind request and was unbelievably Disturbed at the way that I was treated at the store will never be returning I cannot believe that they hired employees in a retail setting who are this rude. read more

I absolutely love Jacque Michelle! I make special trips to Boulder just to visit the store. I always find the perfect gifts for my friends. I love the variety, from soaps to jewelry, to the funniest coasters I have ever read. The ladies in the store have always been very kind. A few times they have taken the time to help me narrow all of the options down to a specific gift. I have not bought any of the baby items, but boy they are cute! Honestly, sometimes I don't quite find the perfect item, but I still enjoy wandering around the store. If you are looking for a fun shop or a unique gift I highly recommend Jacque Michelle. read more

Great location in North Boulder. I went in looking for a wallet, which I found! Not only did they have a great wallet selection, they had a bit of everything. I found sunglasses, stickers, greeting cards, and earrings that I absolutely love. The cashiers were friendly, and helpful. read more

Found a beautiful leather purse that was fairly expensive ($175), but after playing around with the strap length and loving the quality I decided to buy it, despite the salesperson being sure to point out it was real leather, and the "pleather ones are over there" . It was the old woman with dark dyed red hair that also checked me out at the register, and she was so condescending I almost want to return this thing. She grabbed my keys- already attached to this purse- which I was wearing- and told me they wouldn't accept a return if it looked used or scratched, and I had to pull my keys and new purse out of her hand because she kept pulling at them, as I said "I realize that". If Im spending that kind of money at a place that only offers store credit, I don't intend to return it. Then she said "and the straps adjustable" as if I were oblivious and hadn't been adjusting it for the prior 15 minutes. When I was trying to ask her about their points system she didnt even let me finish my question before rolling her eyes at me and saying "I don't know". Bad vibes attached to this bag now, which is really upsetting. Going to be burning a lot of sage. Worst customer service. Ive been shopping here for years and never been snubbed like this. What a b*. Also, the store name is French. It's not "Jackie Michelle", how silly that sounds to a French person... read more

Best place for gifts and fun little trinkets. I get clothes there every so often and I love their dinner date with a book surprise books. Absolutely recommend. The staff is fab and they have a great selection. I will say, they're pricey, but IMO, worth it. Quality is evident and they have great taste. read more

went in to buy local hostess gift, and the older woman behind the counter chastised me for carrying a covered cup of water. So rude we turned around and left and will ever be back, and I'll let my local friends know. there was no sign saying you couldn't have liquid drink in store, mine was capped. if she didn't like a drink 8n the store, she could have kindly asked us to leave my cup at the counter and she'd watch it for me. But rather she made a snide comment in front of other shoppers, point is, stores like this are a dime a dozen in boulder. we moved on and bought a lovely gift from another welcoming store. so shopper beware, it's cute place, but not welcom8ng and it's just a "so so" store of trinkets and a few clothing items that you can get anywhere, read more

Super unique gift shop owned by a lovely lady who has a wonderful selection of infant, children's and particularly any gift for alllll ages. My cousin wanted a small gift for her toddler aged sister-- they recommended a little white unicorn doll who came in 3 sizes. My cousin picked the small size, because of the petiteness of our baby cousin. We saw dangling butterflies, mostly for $11-24! They had orange colored, white sparkly, and purple butterflies. There were lots of candles shaped of pears and apples who are green, orange, brown, pink and other various colors of candles. Some were scented and some were not. I loved the selection of baby plush dolls, mostly at $15. Some baby tutu's. They were cute too!! I bought a Unicorn decor dish with floral pattern for $24-- super cute. I loved the biblical night lights for $24!! They shine so bright. This small boutique also has a rewards email list. I couldn't sign up just because I live an hour away. But this was wonderful. We even saw an ad on a bus. Pretty legit. read more

A fun local fun gift shop with lots of whimsical and pretty items. Candles, housewares, some clothing, cards, jewelry etc. Even my guy likes coming here with me. Check out their quirky knee sock selection! We love going to this vintage strip mall for a leisurely Saturday morning (as well as Ideal across the street). read more

I worked here back in my high school days and didn't make a penny. It's not that I wasn't paid, but hanging out in this cute shop all day, without finding all sorts of cute things to take home is impossible. They have a wonderful selection of cute little knick-knacks, the kind you buy as gifts but never give away 'cause you like them too much; a long wall full of sweet, witty and unique cards; super cute clothes and some great jewelry. Probably my biggest purchase for myself at the time was a pair of earrings and an incredible necklace made out of 2,000 year old Roman glass from Israel. It is created when the glass is buried (probably came from some ruins), absorbing minerals from the earth transforming it into a mica/opal-like material. The jewelry is gorgeous, totally one of a kind and I still get compliments on it today. I found this unique piece staring at me every day from under the jewelry counter at Jacque Michelle's. I finally had to breakdown and buy it. Check it out the next time you feel like you're in a shopping rut and just can't find anything cute. I bet you'll get over your losing streak. read more

Nice store, very unfortunate experience. I am a biracial girl from Boulder and felt that I was being racially profiled. I was asked what i was looking for like 4 times, and then one employee RAISED her voice to say "can I help you!?" in an extremely rude and loud tone for every customer and employee to hear. I wish I had gotten her name. My mom (who is white) had heard them talking about me behind the counter and when she questioned why all the employees had been questioning her daughter the employee immediately backed off and tried to cover for herself but we left. I've had many racist experiences in boulder but did not expect to have one here. My mom shops here all the time and TRUST me we have no shortage of money or reason to steal from an average boutique store read more

This place is a hidden gem in Boulder! Super hip clothes, beautiful jewelry and a fabulous selection of one-of-a-kind gifts. I fall in love with something that I can't live without, everytime I go there! The staff is friendly and helpful with a locally-owned kind of vibe. This is hands down, one of the most fun places to shop in Boulder! Check it out...you won't be disappointed! On Monday's, they often have some sort of sale going on that i get notice of via email. Today, I was in there and they were giving away these delightful cupcakes. Yummy chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles + lots of eye candy galore=Very happy customer!! read more

My go-to place for charming gifts and a little boost of local retail therapy. Great boutique gift store. Especially lovely small gifts like cards, jewelry, wind chimes, purses, hats, accessories and other beautiful and useful knick-knacks. Love the location, where there's always free parking, and you can swing by for a coffee at Vic's or some lunchtime soup at Breadworks as a little extra treat to keep your shopping-mojo up. Very helpful, friendly staff. The store is even better now under new ownership, with updated merchandise. The clothing is stylish and cute, but not entirely my style - What I think of as the hip Boulderite, but whether that's your style or not, there's something for everyone at this rockin, locally-owned boutique gift shop. read more

This is my go to store for gifts or cards that are unique. And if I can't decide what to buy I always go with a JM gift card, because my friends love to shop here as well. Of course, "gifts" for me are the real draw here. Their clothing styles work for me as well as my 30 something daughter in law. I just bought the most flattering Gigi Moda top that is one size fits all. Right on this time. Check this store out, you're sure to be pleased. read more

I love shopping at Jacque Michele! I have to be discerning because my discretionary income is small...I find that the whole experience at this amazing store is such a wonderful indulgence and such a delight for my artistic sensibilities. Thank you for providing such a warm and welcoming place for me to immerse myself in! Oh. And aside from all of the fabulous clothes, jewelry, gifts, etc...they have an exquisite small selection of novels and other books. A best kept secret!!! read more

This is my go-to place for gifts for friends and family! A wonderful collection of eclectic and whimsical things that make everyone smile!

Very very cute place. There's some clothes, accessories, and a huge selection of adorable decorative items for the house. I got a few picture frames, and a couple decorative figurines. read more

Buyer beware!! I have shopped here for years, but there have been quite a few changes since it was sold to new ownership, and not for the better. I bought a few gifts there and ended up not giving them, so I took them back, just hoping for store credit, as it had taken me a little while to get back to the store. I was told I had 10 days to make a return for store credit. They wouldn't even consider taking the items back, even though they are still carrying these items at the same price. I was told I should re-gift the items. Thanks for the less than helpful suggestion. Even though I have been a faithful customer for many years, they have lost me. For all you thinking of shopping there, they have great stuff, just be sure of your purchase. They will not allow any room regarding their policies, they will disregard the customer completely! read more

When I have popped in Jacque Michelle to look around, I was amazed at how many things I fell in love with. There is an amazing assortment of jewelry and gifts, and what I was most pleased with was the unique clothing. I bought what is affectionately my new favorite dress here. Very hip, and great prices. Totally love this place!!!!! read more

My favorite place to shop for gifts, cards, and cool household items. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I always find what I need!

The best shopping experience ever. We were visiting Boulder, from PA, and the service and selection was incredible. We were helped by Carly, and she could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Carly and this store will be a regular stop on our visits to Boulder in the future. read more

I agree with the other reviewers that this store has some cute things. However I've been there a few times, and the lack of service is frustrating, especially in this economy. It isn't difficult to say "Hello" and ask if I need any help. Apparently it is easier to stand around behind the register chatting about their weekend and ignore the ONE customer in the store. read more

I love this adorable little shop! I've been coming here for years and I know it's my go-to place for a gift for someone you may not know what to get, they have a wide assortment of trinkets as well as beautiful jewelry, clothes, hats, and sunglasses. I also think that the sales girls are always super nice and helpful, which can sometimes be hard to find in little boutiques. To top it off they are also right next door to Moe's Broadway Bagel so I always stop over there after for a little treat. read more

I love this store, both for it's products and staff. It has fun housewares and great clothes and jewelry. This is my favorite boutique in Boulder, and that says a lot, considering there are almost as many boutiques in Boulder as there are undergrads at CU. It is a fun little shop, with an excellent assortment of clothing and fun little things to buy as gifts and end up keeping for yourself. The staff is intuitive, helpful, and just so darn nice. Six stars, really. read more

I live nearby and used to stop in once a week to see what's new, but anymore, I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is a good shop for picking up last minute gift items but their personnel has been getting progressively more rude. Perhaps they are being trained to hassle ("greet") each person that enters in order to cut down on shop lifting, but it has gotten to the point that I hate to go in. I feel I am being watched, not assisted. There is a fine line bw helpfulness and harassment. read more

I agree with the first post, this store is a GEM for gifts. I love the card selection too. I always find something perfect for a friend's birthday or a mother's day present (coming up!) and the thing that is also a great surprise is that everything is reasonably priced. I can find a great gift for $15-20 any time. I don't love the clothes so much (think comfy, therapist clothes) but the jewelry and accessories are great. The last thing I bought there was an adorable bird sculpture made of cast iron and painted in an antiqued sage green - really sweet - and it was supposed to be for somebody else, but I kept it! We stopped by Jacque Michelle while in Boulder & had a great experience! Cutest shop with so much to offer ~ a little something for everyone!
