I bought a jacket that I left in the plastic for months - it was the wrong season to wear it and I wasn't totally sold on keeping it. I got it on sale - not final sale - and figured I'd hold on to it, inside the plastic wrap, until it was the right season and make a decision then; Backcountry has a great return policy, right?
So spring comes around, I finally pull out the jacket to try on and I'm still not feeling it. I take it to this location to return it and they want to give me store credit because it "looks used". WTF?! I admit there was a light smudge of make up on the collar, which rubbed off in 2 seconds, but seriously? As a woman when you try things on they do get smudged sometimes. There was no wear, no pilling, no dirt, no smell, the bloody tags were still on and the clerk was making me feel like a criminal trying to dupe her.
