I wouldn't think to do a Yelp review on a Nordstrom Rack but I had to give this one some accolades!…read more Typical Nordstrom Rack, this one is a larger store with a good selection for both men and women along with a kids section. When I checked out, I used my Nordstrom Credit Card, as usual to get my points, but get this, you get 5% off when you used your card. Apparently only certain stores do this. That was such a nice surprise!

A few years ago when replacing a different item, I was able to get it from Nordstrom Rack online. I fared far better than this time in person. There was not even a wisp of personal help though I could see people standing around the walls. Perhaps they were security surveillance and not sales? It was too far away to tell and we knew we were in the right department and the products were stacked so haphazardly we felt we could look as well as they might, if we could even get one to come over. We have no intention of. Using again as the online suggestion that this store had the brand we wanted was out of date or just wrong. If you are intending to browse on a whim in the past you might find something you like. But know that Target has much more personal help with the friendliest people and their online stock status is much more reliable.

I ordered two pairs of minimalist running shoes which arrived in a reasonable amount of time (5 days which I consider reasonable shipping by USPS during the pandemic). Prices were reasonable, especially since I used a promotional code that they offered. One pair of shoes was unfortunately slightly too big, so I emailed Pedestrian Shops about doing an exchange. They responded quickly and offered to drop off my replacement pair at my doorstep! I only needed to wait a day before I had my replacement pair in my hands. Kudos to Zoe Polk and the team at Pedestrian Shops! They will definitely get my business again!

She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I asked her if I got it for her would she give me the discount and match the Stegmann price. She said she would. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. She was very rude to me and refused to honor what she had said about matching the price. This is an inappropriate way to treat a customer. Please respond to my complaint. Rita

Fortunately my employer pitched and provided me with a voucher as one of thier benefits. I attempted to go to the location in Brighton last week but unfortunately there was only one associate working and there were 3-4 potential customers ahead of me so I opted for the Thornton location, this week to give it another go. I walked just after opening and was greeted by Ms. Sandra. Who also winded up being my consultant on picking a new pair of boots. I explained my working conditions and what was important to me in a boot. After listening to my needs she walked me over to the for possibly lack of the correct term "fit right" analization area/ system. This system measures both feet and than you perform a walk test to see how your feet actually walk and make contact with the ground therefor enabling them to provide inserts for your boots/ hikers if needed. After that we discussed which boots would be best for my feet and working conditions. She explained the pros and cons of particular boots and I selected a free different ones to try on, she willing went to the back to check stock and returned for the try-on process. During this process I was fortunate enough to have the attention of both consultants Sandy and Travis, as I was the only customer for a brief period. They both willing answered all my questions and offered additional information that I did not think to ask. Even the different brands that they carried including Worx, Irish Setter, and Red Wing . Comparable on a grading scale as to good, better , and Best. They also offer many accessories including socks, gloves, hats and any and all maintenance needs for the upkeep of your new boots/shoes, plus many other items I did not mention. So in the end would I recommend? , most definitely! But I would recommend to set aside some time to really take a look and ask questions and try on different styles and be open to thier knowledge and expertise because to be honest, going in I wasn't going to buy the inserts because I've had them before and didn't think they did much to help but just thinking about it and listening to them both I figured why could it hurt because they do give you 30 days to return them if you don't think they are working out . So what's the harm? But it's all up to you. But trust your judgment as I did listen to them but pick your boots because they are your feet.

When you walk in, you give them your name and they let you know approximately how long the wait will be while they help the customers already there. I had several questions about the different shoe models, and she was able to explain the differences and help me choose the right shoe for me. Having someone knowledgeable there made the decision so much easier. The entire experience took maybe 15 minutes, and I was back out the door and on my way to my next errand. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a quick and painless shopping experience!

*** 10/10, WOULD GET STRANDED IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM AGAIN ***…read more Okay, this particular Anthropologie team (GEMMA & CAROLINE) deserves a standing ovation. Last week, I walked in especially needy. Once I made it to the dressing room, where I had waaaay too many asks (sizes, special order items not in stock, etc.) and spent waaaay too much time. And once I was finally finished, headed to check out--after the store had officially closed, no less!--remembering: "Shoot! I forgot I needed to return these 2 items I originally came in with--oh, and can you apply that to store credit instead of original payment method?"--(they did.) I worked in retail for years and was well aware of the level of nightmare customer I was presenting. The manager & her co-worker, Gemma & Caroline treated my special order struggles like a personal mission -- and then straight-up stayed open past close just to make sure I got it right. No "we close in five minutes" death stare, no clock-watching, just genuine "we've got you" energy the whole time. This Anthro store -- with Gemma & Caroline at the helm -- gave me the patience, expertise, and kind of customer service--full send--like it was no big deal? (IT WAS A BIG DEAL, and I appreciated every minute of it.) *** 10/10, WOULD GET STRANDED IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM AGAIN *** Thank you, Gemma & Caroline!!
